N. Korea 'to conduct nuclear test'
POSTED: 10:09 a.m. EDT, October 3, 2006

• Test would be the first confirmation of North Korea's nuclear weapons capability
• Japanese prime minister said international community would "respond harshly"
• Pyongyang insists weapons are only for defensive purposes
• No date or location set for tests

(CNN) -- North Korea, citing American belligerence and pressure, said Tuesday it will conduct a nuclear test.

The North Korean Foreign Ministry issued the comment in a statement published by the Korean Central News Agency, or KCNA -- the communist country's official news agency.

"The field of scientific research of the DPRK (North Korea's official name) will in the future conduct a nuclear test under the condition where safety is firmly guaranteed," the statement said.

A date and time for the test was not issued.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Tuesday that if North Korea proceeded with a nuclear test, "the international community would respond harshly."

"Any form of nuclear testing by North Korea would be unacceptable," Abe told reporters.

South Korean Foreign Minister Taro Aso said "we can't flatly rule out the possibility" of such a test since North Korea "in the past" said it would "do something" and actually has done it "a moment later."

It is the first time North Korea has made an official announcement that it is going to conduct nuclear tests. Previously, it said it had the right to conduct such tests.

"The U.S. extreme threat of a nuclear war and sanctions and pressure compel the DPRK to conduct a nuclear test, an essential process for bolstering nuclear deterrent, as a corresponding measure for defense," the Foreign Ministry said.

Six-party talks on the country's nuclear program have stalled, and North Korea test-fired missiles in July. There have been attempts to get the talks back on track.

North Korea wants bilateral talks with the United States before the six-party talks resume and it wants Washington to ease up on economic pressures.

"The DPRK's nuclear weapons will serve as reliable war deterrent for protecting the supreme interests of the state and the security of the Korean nation from the U.S. threat of aggression and averting a new war and firmly safeguarding peace and stability on the Korean peninsula under any circumstances."

At the same time, North Korea said it would back "nuclear non-proliferation as a responsible nuclear weapons state" and do all it can "to realize the denuclearization of the peninsula and give impetus to the world-wide nuclear disarmament and the ultimate elimination of nuclear weapons."

"The ultimate goal of the DPRK is not a 'denuclearization" to be followed by its unilateral disarmament but one aimed at settling the hostile relations between the DPRK and the U.S. and removing the very source of all nuclear threats from the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity," the statement said.

The country said it "officially announced that it manufactured up-to-date nuclear weapons after going through transparent legitimate processes to cope with the U.S. escalated threat of a nuclear war and sanctions and pressure. The already declared possession of nuclear weapons presupposes the nuclear test."

The country said it would "never use nuclear weapons first but strictly prohibit any threat of nuclear weapons and nuclear transfer."

CNN Seoul correspondent Sohn Jie-Ae said the extent of North Korea's nuclear capabilities was uncertain.

"It is mostly speculation. This is what North Korea appears to be seeking to verify to the outside world."

Korea...yes...but pray for those poor people.

Remember Korea
When I was young we just called it Korea. It was a war that never ended. All that was achieved after three bloody years of fighting was a cease-fire. In other words, the Korean War still isn't over Read about it here. That's why North Korea's plans for a nuclear test is alarming everyone.

If you've been following the reports, you know that even China and Russia are concerned Read about it here. Word is there was even a heated exchange of words in the UN between the US ambassador and the Russian ambassador. You see, in the Korean War American boys weren't just fighting against the North Koreans, they were also fighting the Chinese and the Russians.

It's no wonder even Russia and China are concerned. It appears the little North Korean leader may now even be growing dangerous to his old allies. The simple fact is, North Korea has never sat down and made peace. This being the case, the US must see North Korea's nuclear test as an act of nuclear aggression against the US and US allies in the region. And, the US must naturally respond accordingly. The world's leaders knows it. That's why they're all so scared.

They remember Korea.

watch the markets. this why i told you maz, that every "highly raised wall" shall fall.

and what hope is there in money? (why did you take away that post?)

it is New York that will be hit. not much longer now... the target will be New York.

New Yorker? i pray you get out of there.

when babylon falls, there will be no one to buy the full stock of the world's goods any longer. the US is the world's largest consumer of goods.

kings and merchants will weep.

and the beast will be given authority 42 months.
and to conquer the saints.
and they will be killed. (just like Jesus, for they will witness concerning Jesus and speak about God)

but precious in the eyes of the LORD is the blood of his saints.

even so, may God's will be done.
may his kingdom come.
hallelujah.

That ties in with the sight of prophet Yaweh and his UFOs. Every major city will see one and fire will come from them. He said that the first will be seen in Las Vegas this week sometime.

N. Korea states it could, if it wanted to, fire off a nuclear tipped missile....

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/10/1...test/index.html

If N. Korea feels even in the slightest threatened by a build up of forces or activity by the West, they will launch.

I say it's at least three minutes to midnight...

http://www.thebulletin.org/doomsday_clock/timeline.htm

Prediction. If N. Korea responds with a launch, the Middle East is sure to follow. The perception in the Middle East is that the US would be distracted with a major crisis, with resources stretched thinly; Islamic agressors would seek to capitalize what they would think is an opportunity to further their agendas.

Those tricky N. Koreans. Now US officials maybe second guessing them. Reports is that US intel estimate a half kiloton det, while coroborating reports state that the N. Koreans told the Chinese of their intent to det a 4 kiloton device.

Either something went wrong or the N. Koreans built such a hardened test site it dampened the seismic shock of the blast...hmmmm

...wouldn't that be a kicker if the nuke was an Iranian design N. Korea agreed to test for them (paid for by oil shipments)?

...so to shake off the disappointing results Iran announces it's vow to continue nuclear testing

Yep, Yep, Yep...I had the same line of thinking here, but my thoughts are, what if Iran and N.K. are in partnership some kind of way, (unknown to me as to how), but maybe Iran has N.K doing this so all eyes will be on N.K and off of Iran for a bit so Iran can do somethings without the all seeing eye ball looking...

It's my understanding that N.K is a poor place to be...gets it supplies from surrounding neighbors and such...BUT IRAN has the moolaa to do this and I do think Iran has was it says it doesn't ph34r.gif ....

Well... we have 4 days (and the remainder of today) to see if this guy's a prophet or a "prophet". If there's no ufo shooting down fire in Vegas... then this man is a false prophet.

By the way that link didn't work... do you know of any other links where I can read/hear this guy's "prophecy"?

(However, I do not need to see this "prophecy" not come true to know that this man is a false prophet. On his website he claims that the New Testament is false and has a link for the lies of Jesus. That's enough for me to know this man's not speaking truth.)

I wish you could have seen the first one put out by Jack V. because without a doubt he is the one that will call fire down from heaven. The one Jack put up was one from a few years ago, I think. The link I put up there doesn't show anything, just a lot of advertising talk.

Try this NASA video:

Yeah, that was from last year:

First hour guest, Prophet Yahweh discussed his ability to summon UFOs on demand. The key to summoning UFOs, he explained, is living an upright life. Recently, KTNV-TV in Las Vegas sent an investigative reporter to check out his claims. Their video appears to show Prophet Yahweh calling down a UFO, much to the surprise of the reporter and several onlookers. Prophet Yahweh also announced he will begin calling down UFOs for 45 days starting on June 1, 2005. He said one of the UFOs will come close enough for all of Las Vegas to see, and may linger in the skies for a couple of days.

600,000 civilian deaths in Iraq is part of the rapture.
All of the deaths from the twin towers are part of the rapture.
The recent school shootings are part of the rapture.
The Holocaust was part of the rapture.
Any and all deaths are a rapture.

The rapture is a putting off of the flesh.

But, tell me what do you think, will the rapture be a joyous thing to those not raptured?

WASHINGTON (AP) U.S. government intelligence official says air sample taken after North Korea's announced nuclear test showed no presence of radioactive particles.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) U.N. Security Council agrees on text of resolution that would impose sanctions on North Korea for its claimed nuclear test and sets a vote for Saturday.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) North Korea's U.N. ambassador says the country is ready for talks but warns that Pyongyang will consider increased U.S. pressure a declaration of war.

Russia and China are two nations blocking some of the decisions of the US and they appear to be siding with North Korea.

Russia is about to open a nuclear reactor in Iran.

If the US is going to do anything about the nuclear reactor in Iran other than making sure that it is only for peaceful purposes, the US will cause a war with Russia and Vladimir Putin has made another axis of countries in the eastern world and they are ready for war.

If all of the peopkle in the US are against the policies of Bush, we need to just throw up our hands and say, 'We surrender!'
