Seems to me that the NY Times was trying to make christians look bad and hateful. I would not be if what I said in a forum ended up in a newspaper without my knowledge. However, at the same time it teaches us as Christians to bridle our tongue and be careful with what we say.

We all know what the NY times is all about: Left wing-anti Bush-anti Christian, no need to say more.

We all know how words can start wars!!! And we know what double standards there are...The enemy can say anything they want...they can call us infidels, and sons of the devil, and say they want to wipe all Jews off the face of the Earth.

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?

we all know that whatever we say, or whatever cartoons are shown in the papers, articles written, and the controversy all stirred up by all points of view...can and will cause havoc to those oppressed by the enemy.
Oppression is a fact....if we stir the pot those held in countries may be persecuted just because we spoke up about the oppression. But if we NOT speak WHO WOULD know what was actually going on. Therefore, what shall one do, be silent and let the killing and injustice continue to happen, and bury one's head in the sand?

We can pray, we can send food, we can send money and we can send missionarys...we can send journalists and peace keeping forces, we can send ambassadors to come to the table and try to resolve the issues at hand....but at the end of it all it all comes down to One person or One tribe and the hate that still lingers from the Ancient wounds that keep them in bondage....a continuous hate and a desire for revenge.

GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOULS, Jesus we pray that people see the person you created us to be and to live in peace with one another....and come to the cross and surrender to your Grace and Truth. Amen

Wow! Thanks for the Infomation! I did the same and only found a couple of things but I had put some pictures on photo-bucket of my family and Bam there they were! Thank you for sharing. It was odd though only 2 of my post came up. That was kind of strange. I went back and tried again, and yes it is all there! Lord use it to bring you glory! I pray that I have reflected the Father!

I always stand behind what I post even when others call me crazy. Many thought Jesus was crazy for saying and doing the same things.

Its not Jesus who is coming it is the Savior and they are not the same. Simple economics and standardization is the way and you cant get that from a religious book.

It is a kingdom and a real leader the world awaits not a Democracy and a politician.

It is Jesus and He is our Saviour. Simple ecomonics and standardization might be someone else's way to power and ruling a kingdom, but I'll get my hope from my Bible....what you might call a religious book.

You are in my prayers tonight and from here on out as long as I am able to pray. and so do we....

I am sorry for not being exactly what you were expecting of the savior and maybe I am crazy but I have thought I was the savior for many decades and I do not endorse a religious book. I do agree with what Jesus was said to believe in and just want to put that system into practice.

Why would Christians have to be carefull about what they say?
The world would not understand anyways.
Christians need to say what needs to be said, on a forum, in church, or where ever.
If we consider the Bible to be the true word of God, why compromise?

The secular press will take everything out of context anyways.
Christians have been their target for a long time. Nothing new under the sun.

Thank you so much, Laurel! I was finally able to read what was posted. I was wondering what all the fuss was about. Guess humanists, secularists, atheists, and the like are always confounded by Christian beliefs.
