I heard Fox News talking about this earlier in the day but there is nothing on their web site. They are not talking about at all now on the news.
I found this on a blog site and it was Steve Centanni. Does anyone know anything about it??

FNCers Kidnapped In Gaza: "Pray For Their Release. I Will Keep You Posted" --Moody
FNC senior VP John Moody's internal message to Fox News personnel about the kidnapping:

"The rumors are true: two of our employees have been abducted in Gaza. We will report this fact via our Israel correspondents. Do NOT do any other segments on it. Do not book guests on this topic. Do not comment officially and of course, not on the air, about it. DO pray for their release. I will keep you posted."

Thank you so much for the information.
I am glad they are not trying to increase their ratings from the kidnapping.
That is the only new station I will watch so when something happens I want to find out more.
I like it when Moody said we need your prayers.

Fox kidnappers set 72-hour deadline

A previously unheard-of Palestinian group released video footage on Wednesday showing two kidnapped Fox News journalists, and demanded that Muslim prisoners in US jails be released within 72 hours in exchange for the men, the Palestinian news agency Ramattan reported.

The footage was the first sign of American correspondent Steve Centanni, 60, and cameraman Olaf Wiig, 36, of New Zealand since they were kidnapped August 14 from their TV van near the Palestinian security services headquarters in Gaza City.

Although Palestinian terrorist groups have often seized foreigners, including members of the media, this is the longest any have been held.

Earlier, the news agency said the kidnappers had demanded the release of Palestinian prisoners.

In the video footage, the men, sitting on the floor in sweat suits, appeared to be in good health. No armed men were seen. The journalists were heard saying in the video that they were in good hands and appealed to their governments to respond to the kidnappers' demands.

"We are going to exchange the Muslim female and male prisoners in American jails in return for the prisoners that we have. We are going to give you 72 hours beginning midnight tonight to take your decision," Ramattan quoted the kidnappers' statement as saying.

The group did not say what would happen if the deadline passed unanswered, Ramattan reported.

"If you implement and meet our condition, we will fulfill our promise. If not, wait, and we are going to wait," the statement said.

I saw this story on the news yesterday. I hate to say it, but in my opinion, these men are as good as dead. We will not negociate with terrorists, so when we fail to meet the demands, the likely consequence will be their murder. This is very sad, but it is the reality of how terrorists operate.

Sad to say you are right. If we give in to terrorist it would only make them stronger. sad.gif

It's hard to say what anyone would do in a situation as they were, with guns pointed at their heads and told to convert or be killed. But I think it would have been a greater witness and testimony to be killed for the cause. Of course, I can't say what I would do. Just saying what God says to do... wow, that is a hard situation. Kim, I think I would have been killed too. It's a hard decision though and very violent. We all have some introspection to do here. Oy!
kim48
I think your right. Who knows what we would do under the gun point. We know what we should do but would we do it? No one knows untill we have the gun pointed at our head.
