Subject: Iraq Hmmmmmmmmmmm?!

Iraq
Read all of this one, it is interesting!! Read down to the very bottom
highlighted in green, you don't want to miss this!
- VERY INTERESTING-
1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq.
2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!
3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.
4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq
5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!
6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq!
7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.
8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.
9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.
10. Amos cried out in Iraq!
11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.
12. Daniel was! in the lion's den in Iraq!
13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in
Iraq also as the fourth person in the Fiery furnace!)
14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in
Iraq.
15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.
16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.
17. The wise men were from Iraq
18. Peter preached in Iraq.
19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon, which
was a city in Iraq!
And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often
mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is
Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible The names
used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia The word
Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the
Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep
roots.
Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant
country in the Bible.
No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated
it than Iraq.
And also, This is something to think about! Since America is typically
represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim
passages...
The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)
Koran (9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a
fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands
of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more
rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and
there was peace.
(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!
I BETTER NOT HEAR OF ANYONE BREAKING THIS ONE OR SEE DELETED
This is a ribbon for soldiers fighting in Iraq. Pass it on to everyone and pray.
Something good will happen to you tonight at 11:11 PM. This is not a
joke one will either call you or will talk to you online and say that they
love you. Do not break this chain. Send this to 13 people in the next 15
minutes. Go.

Hurry up! 13 people! laugh.gif 15 minutes!
God's Lamb
I was told from a friend who is a priest and very knowledgable.... and he says the Koran does not say that about the egale.....can you direct us to the Koran to that passage?????

I saw that same thing in a Today's Front Page a Christian Newspaper.....but not about the Koran.

gregg,

Thanks for posting the ID's for Iraq. These are all factual. Bible prophecy is hinged in the region and will culminate in the very same area of the Middle East in many of the visions of the time of the end. Daniel's little horn appears to come out of the same designation.

I would not get to excited about the Koran and the eagle stuff though. The Bible says nothing in regard to the same.

I was so excited when I opened that letter and thought that somebody had found another 11! laugh.gif

Quran 9:11

Claim: Quranic verse 9:11 speaks of the "wrath of the Eagle cleansing the lands of Allah."

Status: False.

Example: [Collected via e-mail, 2003]

Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

Origins: The
chapter and verse citation reproduced in the example block above isn't a legitimate quotation from the Quran (or Koran), the sacred text of Islam — no such passage appears in that book, at Chapter 9, Verse 11 or anywhere else.

This item a hoax, a leg-pull, that plays on the USA's (i.e., the Eagle's) launching of military action against Afghanistan and Iraq (the "lands of Allah") in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks on America organized by Osama bin Laden (the "son of Arabia"). That the chapter and verse selection match the date of the terrorist attacks (9:11) is another giveaway to the joke.

Depending upon which translation of the Quran one uses, the section corresponding to chapter 9, verse 11 actually reads something like this:
But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.

I just recieved this in my email this afternoon.

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for
maintaining my state prison security clearance.
During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers
representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant, and Muslim faiths, who
explained each of their belief systems.
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The
Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a
video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and
answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked:
"Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the
infidels of the world. And that by killing an infidel, which is a
command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven.
If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers
of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith
so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"
The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes" I then stated, "Well,
sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Billy Graham ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"
The Imam was speechless.
I continued, "I also have a problem with being your friend when you
and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me
ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to
kill me in order to go to Heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you
because I am going to Heaven and he wants you to be with me?"
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.
Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the
Diversification' training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of
dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs.
I think everyone should be required to read this, but with
the justice system and media, and the ACLU, there is no way this will
be widely publicized. Please pass this on to all your e-mail contacts.
This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well known
leader in prison ministry.

Flogi
You are correct. The koran also tells muslims not to be friends with Christians and Jews.

5.51: O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Small wonder there's that much trouble in the Middle East!

Yes, I think that was what it was intended for. It is time for Christains to stand together no matter what Church they go to.

Allah took Jesus to heaven where he awaits until the day of judgment when he will return to earth (3,55). Muslim traditions teach that Muhammad died not knowing if he would be judged worthy to enter Paradise - where God has already placed Jesus. Muhammad is Dead and buried in Saudi Arabia. Jesus is alive both with God in heaven (paradise) and in Spirit with his followers on Earth. (Koran 3,55;4,158,159)

Those who pray to God are able to only because of what Jesus did for all mankind. For the first time in history, every person could, and can, pray directly to the one God, creator of all things. No Temple, priests, rules, dogmas, or liturgies are required for God to care about a person and hear one's prayers. ONLY because of Jesus, Muslims, and all others can talk to God anytime, from anywhere! Few people, and no Muslims, are aware of this historical fact.

Use this world wide web as a learning tool, not a spouting mechanism. The outbreak of this violence has been seen since the beginning of time; since the first tree was taken out. The violence has grown in proportion to the oxygen taken out of the atmosphere. There is nothing, not a thing, but rocks and buildings in the areas around the Middle East. Water is a substitute for breathing air, because water is hydrogen and oxygen atoms. When a body is robbed of its oxygen, there first starts to be no thinking, the brain shuts down. Slowly, the body shuts down, until right before death. Then the body screams from every cell.
Then you wake up.

Yes this is an eye opener for sure...I had received the same email a few months back and I printed it out.

11. Allah strengthened the group of Jews who believed Jesus and his message, so they overcame those who disbelieved (61, 14*). I find this interesting and what Kim talk about with the Islam faith. I would how many Islam people know that Jesus helped the Jews and well they are suppose to kill the Jews. It clearly states that Jesus was the Messiah here from http://www.islam-101.org/. This last passage is also interesting (22. The Surrender, al-Islam, is Islam and Muslims are to be surrendered to Allah's will and guidance (3, 19*), [as had been revealed by Jesus.]) because if they follow this they they must surrender to Allah's will and believe in Jesus as the Messiah who died for their sins. Wow Islam is really wierd Religion. I am glad God gave us his word. It is so straight forward.

Yes Kim thanks for sharing that! I have saved it as well. My heart just breaks for these people who have been taught such lies. May the God of this world open their blinded eyes to the Truth! Jesus I pray for all of these lost souls.

I was reading a quote from a translated speech from Hezbollah's leader and he called their cause a "sacred hate"... Jesus commanded to love other as ourselves, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who spitefully use us....but what comes out of the mouth of a man reveals what is in his heart...and hate is sacred to these people! Clearly their light is darkness...how great that darkness must be!
