Pray for the suffering people of New Jersey. 36,000 forced to work without a paycheck while the remaining government employees furloughed, when you think about all the state government offices/functions for a massively populated urbanized state like NJ, the impact on people is huge.

Welfare checks for the month of July were already sent, Governor Jon Corzine threatens to not send the next month's.

All a power play because Corzine's will to raise sales tax from 6% to 7% was being opposed.

I don't know much about Corzine, other than he had a business background prior to becoming a senator then governor.

I find this absolutely monstrous! I wonder if Keith Olbermann will award him the Worst Person In The World Award for today; if Keith still has that segment - I haven't watched in a long, long time. I think he deserves it.
