The book of Enoch explains the interpretation of Genesis 6:1-2 with a first person view, the view of Enoch, plus it throws light on all of the figures used in the month and the year, plus it gives the names of the sons of God and the different knowledges that they gave to mankind. My question is, 'Was that why Enoch was taken?'

The problem with the Book of Enoch is that Nobody knows what the Actual book of Enoch Contains. Apparently it was important enough that it is quoted in
Jude 1:14-15 A lot of people see the current available text as corrupt, except the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
Same problem with the Book of Jasher talked about in
Joshua 10:13, and
2 Samuel 1:18, there are some that claim that the current versions are authentic, there is just no way of verifying it.
