Deuteronomy 7:12-15 (King James Version)

12Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

13And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

14Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

15And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

I would like to pray for those who have Morgellon's disease, you can join me if you don't mind. smile.gif

Holy Father, I lift up to you all the persons who have been touched
by the Morgellon disease, and I am asking you according to your word,
to deliver them from this horrible disease; and here, LORD, I am quoting your
word that says that everything that has a name has to bow down
To the name of Jesus,

Therefore, I come against you, Morgellon disease, in Jesus' name, and I command you to depart from every person that has ever had the Morgellon disease, to depart from every person who currently has Morgellon disease, and to depart
from every person who might have it in the future.

Morgellon disease, desist from your plans, in Jesus' name; Satan, in Jesus' name, I command you to depart from all persons affected by the Morgellon disease, in Jesus' name.

Father, I thank you for answering my prayer. I praise you for sending Your healing spirit to all persons affected by this horrible disease, and I humbly ask you
to bless them physically, spiritually and financially.

LORD, I also pray that you touch each of these persons in the way that they need
to be touched, so that they may recognize Jesus Christ as their only saviour and thus know Your salvation.

LORD, I thank you for answering my prayer.
May you be glorified, for ever and ever!

This really is frightening, yet God is in control, cliche as that may sound, He is.

Here's a line from one of the articles:

"No one knows how Morgellans is contracted, but it does not appear to be contagious."

It doesn't appear. More research in order maybe. Geez! blink.gif dry.gif ohmy.gif

First of all, this Morgellan's disease, in the graphic picture link, sounds more like ignorance to me.
'Symptoms can and may
include (but not limited to) chronic fatigue, inability to
handle stress, low hormone levels, fibromyalgia, (pain
and aching of nerve and muscles) muscle spasms,
muscle and joint swelling, confusion, mental overload,
difficulty concentrating, paralysis sensation, nausea,
itching, sensations of organisms scratching, biting, or
crawling on or in the skin.'
Can accompany caffeine overload, extreme soda addiction, fascination with the taste of hydrogenated products, driving too close to the car in front of you causiing minimal carbon monoxide poisoning, nicotine addiction, nicotine withdrawal, drug addiction, drug withdrawal. . .
This is not limited to a particular population of individuals, but it seems to be concentrated around the more affluent in society.
However, the word is getting out that in the beginning God created certain things that helped us in our struggle to keep this garden that some of us are now trying to destroy and that our bodies operate more efficiently when there is a balance between the internal workings of this bag of organs that we now carry around and the external environment that we find ourselve confronted with.
They started pulling coke machines and junk food dispensers from the schools now because maybe they linked that with the psychological processes that occur with the young partakers of these things and it fosters misinterpretations of documents.
The Government did do some studies on the effects of sound on the normal population, but found that the use of sound as a deterrent is restricted to speakers about 20 feet tall and 6 feet wide and the effectiveness of the shock experinced by the waves is restricted to the approximate size of, say. the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. So they scratched that and decided to study something else.
Their latest study is something I just heard about so I am not going to lend any credence to, but the Government was trying to link together a scenario where there was multiple assaults on the buildings of our government and disease outbreaks and UFO attacks and make it like 'The War of the World's' thing just to see if the normal person would react to it in the same way. Well, they scratched that because some of their young operatives were becoming too absorbed in the roleplaying.
But, you know there may be an answer that has been around for all time and we just haven't seen it. There may have to be more studies done on the immediate need.

Mystery disease hits South Texas (additional reporting)

To the concern of medical professionals already preparing for a potential bird flu pandemic, a mysterious disease first documented 300 years ago is spreading throughout South Texas.

Morgellons disease has not been known to kill and it doesn't appear to be contagious – it's the disease's horrible symptoms that worry doctors.

"These people will have like beads of sweat but it's black, black and tarry," Ginger Savely, a nurse practioner in Austin who has treated a majority of Morgellons patients, told the San Antonio Express-News.

Patients infected with the disease get lesions that never heal.

"Sometimes little black specks come out of the lesions and sometimes little fibers," said Stephanie Bailey, a Morgellons patient.

It's those different-colored fibers that pop out of the skin that may be the most bizarre symptom of the disease.

Travis Wilson, a Morgellons sufferer for over a year, once called his mother in to see a fiber coming out of a lesion in his chest.

"It looked like a piece of spaghetti was sticking out about a quarter to an eighth of an inch long and it was sticking out of his chest," Lisa Wilson said. "I tried to pull it as hard as I could out and I could not pull it out.

"He'd have attacks and fibers would come out of his hands and fingers, white, black and sometimes red. Very, very painful," said Wilson.

More than 100 cases of the disease have been reported in South Texas.

"It really has the makings of a horror movie in every way," Savely said.

To make matters worse for sufferers, some doctors dismiss the disease as a delusion because the symptoms patients experience are so bizarre.

"Believe me," said Savely, "if I just randomly saw one of these patients in my office, I would think they were crazy too. But after you've heard the story of over 100 (patients) and they're all — down to the most minute detail — saying the exact same thing, that becomes quite impressive."

The outbreak's proximity to the Texas-Mexico border comes at a time when the issues of illegal immigration, border security and possible amnesty for over 12 million illegal aliens are being debated in the U.S.

The Wilson's spent $14,000 last year after insurance coverage on medical treatment for the disease, primarily on antibiotics.

"He was on Tamadone for pain. Viltricide, this was an anti-parasitic. This was to try and protect his skin because of all the lesions and stuff," said Wilson.

Travis, 23, complained of feeling like bugs were crawling all over him. "You can't sleep. It's freaky. So he'd go days without sleep," she said.

Austin resident Stephanie Bailey, who developed the lesions over four years ago, said she felt the same crawling sensation that Travis Wilson had felt. "The lesions come up, and then these fuzzy things like spores come out," she said. "You just want to get it out of you."

She, to this day, has no idea what could have caused her disease, and nothing has worked to rid her of it.

"They (doctors) told me I was just doing this to myself, that I was nuts. So basically I stopped going to doctors because I was afraid they were going to lock me up," Bailey said.

Pathologists have not been able to find any infection in the fibers pulled from lesions.

"Clearly something is physically happening here," said Dr. Randy Wymore, a researcher at the Morgellons Research Foundation at Oklahoma State University's Center for Health Sciences. "These fibers don't look like common environmental fibers."

Currently the only treatment that has shown success is an antibiotic. More than half of Morgellons patients have also been diagnosed with Lymes disease, but no other connections have been found.

"It sounds a little like a parasite, like a fungal infection, like a bacterial infection, but it never quite fits all the criteria of any known pathogen," said Savely, who continues to treat the disease others say isn't real.

Wilson says her son suffered to such a point she was sure he was suicidal.

"I knew he was going to kill himself, and there was nothing I could do to stop him," she said.

Travis Wilson committed suicide two weeks ago.

Shaun, it doesn't sound cliche to me at all. It's the absolute truth, and we're blessed to know it. Say it as many times as you want to!

I want to know how this thing "does not appear to be contagious," and yet is "spreading through south Texas." I'm not sure the people who are looking at this have the brains to evaluate it! Get somebody else down there who won't say "It does not appear to be contagious!" And make it quick!

This exact disease was on a documentary on the life of a primitive tribe in Africa. This is a tropical disease. The fiber is the actual maggot of the parasite. It's a worm the widith of a monofilament and grows and crawls under the skin. The native people would wrap a fiber around a stick when it emerges from a sore, and over days and days, wrap up a little more, till it looks like they have a big ball of yarn and have successfully pulled out the entire worm out of the body. The color of the fiber depends on what tissue the worm is in and rather or not there's infection around it.
