A GARDENER had a revelation when he dug up his asparagus plant and saw the face of Jesus.

Martin Gregory was enjoying his Sunday morning gardening when he noticed something quite different about one of his asparagus ferns he removed from a pot.

As the 52-year-old laid the 30-inch plant on the grass the sun shone down on the roots and revealed the face of Jesus to him.

The part-time mosaic tutor said: "I thought Good gracious! It's the face of Jesus.
"It's the most weird thing I have ever seen.

"The roots are fantastic. You can actually make out a thorn crown around his head, his eyes and nose.

"I've heard about Mother Theresa's face being seen in a bagel but I thought this was much better."

Belvedere resident Mr Gregory removed the plant from his pot, which had been in the garden for 10 years, because he thought it was dying.

He believed the Christ-like image was caused by the roots being pressed against the stones in the plant pot causing the unusual indentations.

He added: "It looked so much like His face it took my breath away.

"It has not made me religious. But it could be something supernatural linked to the abbey ruins opposite.

"We don't know what's in the ground."

Father David Sherratt, of St Michael and All Angels Church, Abbey Wood Road, Abbey Wood, said: "I have often heard of people seeing things. God may want Mr Gregory to interpret what he saw in the plant as a sign."

I don't normally answer these, because, quite frankly, I normally can't see it, but a thought just came to me....

The rocks and trees would cry out..

I used to think, "we should just not praise the Lord for a moment and then whatch that happen...that would be so cool" But then I realized that such a thing is an insult, really. For that to have to happen, we are not praising Him.

I believe that is why we are having so many sightings like this now. The cosmos and the flowers and the trees are simply crying out because humanity is so into themselves, even when they think they are being "Christian" that lives are not crying out. Oh, we may say the words, but they are vain and I do not think God even hears them.

The rocks and trees would cry out....now, to me, this sounds like fear.

I was Meditating on the suffering of Jesus and this image appeared on the pillow just opposite me. I thought it was my imagination, I fetched the camera and if you look long enough one can see the beaten face of a person.

In 2003 I also had a vision of the cross. Spring afternoon 2003 (South Africa) on the 2nd of October about 15hoo`s I was praying when Jesus appeared to me in a vision .It was no ordinary vision in fact it is something you don’t want to see. Jesus on the cross The 14th of Nissan (28 th March) on a Wednesday, 31AD, about the six hour became a reality to me, darkness covered the earth .I became a witness to the crucifixion. I was alone with Jesus standing on the left hand side of the cross. His pain was noticeable in the dark. I looked up in the dark sky and saw his face. it was beyond recognition. The size of his head was huge with knobs standing out like tumors on His beloved face The sharp edges of the crown of thorns protruding from his head was the size of my fingers I noticed the agony as Jesus lifted Himself up on the cross to speak to me. He took a deep breath, looking down on me, and said to me those precious words, that I will never forget for the rest of my life: Vincent I love you so much, and tell every one that I love them as well.

God loves us so much, He will do anything to get our attention.
