Major Earthquake Hits Off Indonesian Coast

JAKARTA, Indonesia - A magnitude-7.7 undersea earthquake rocked eastern Indonesia early Saturday, the
U.S. Geological Survey said. There was no danger of a tsunami, and no injuries were reported.

The earthquake occurred in the Banda Sea about 120 miles south of Ambon city, the USGS said. It occurred at a depth of 212 miles.

Tsunami Warning Center said no destructive tsunami threat existed.

Amran, an official at Indonesia's meteorological agency in the capital, Jakarta, said there were no immediate reports of damages or injuries. Like many Indonesians, he goes by only one name.

The Internet news portal Detik.com reported from Ambon that people fled their houses in panic when the earthquake, which lasted about two minutes, struck.

Ambon is about 1,600 miles east of Jakarta.

Indonesia, the world's largest archipelago, is prone to seismic upheaval because of its location atop a volcanically active region known as the Pacific "Ring of Fire."

A Dec. 26, 2004, earthquake of magnitude 9 off the Indonesian coast generated a tsunami that left at least 216,000 people dead or missing and nearly 2 million homeless in 11 countries.

The true toll will probably never be known — many bodies were lost at sea and in some cases the populations of some places struck were not accurately known.

Three months later, another strong tremor killed more than 900 on Nias and smaller surrounding islands in western Indonesia.

The first angel said:" I have a message for all of Asia." When he said that, in a spilt few seconds, I could see all of China, India, the Asian countries like Vietnam, Laos - I've never been to those countries. I saw the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and I N D O N E S I A. And then the angel showed me all of Papua New Guinea, Irian Jaya and down to Australia and New Zealand.


"I am the angel of Asia," he said. And in his hand I saw a tremendous trumpet that he is going to blow all over Asia. Whatever the angel said, it's going to happen with the trumpet of the Lord all over Asia. Millions are going to hear the mighty voice of the Lord. Then the angel said, "There shall be disaster, starvation - many will die from hunger. Strong winds will be looked like has never happened before. A great part shall be shaken and destroyed. Earthquakes will take place all over Asia and the sea will cover the earth.


I saw this on June 20. Today is August 16. A few weeks ago I heard the news of villages completely wiped out and washed into the sea in Papua New Guinea. Thousand of lives in great jeopardy. That happened a few weeks ago, and the angel told me it is going to happen all over Asia. "The earth will fall into the sea," I heard the angel say," part of Australia will be shaken. Australia will be divided, and a great part will go under the ocean. "This was frightening - I wondered whether I was hearing right. But the angel said," Millions will die in China and in India. Nation will be against nation, brother against brother. Asians will fight each other. Nuclear weapons shall be used, killing millions." Twice I heard the words, " Catastrophic! Catastrophic!" then the angel said, "Financial crisis will come to Asia. I will shake the world."


I was trembling while the angel was speaking. Then he looked at me and smiled and said," There shall be the greatest spiritual awakening - bondage will be broken. Barriers will be removed. And all over Asia - China - India - people will turn to Christ. In Australia there shall be tremendous revival." I heard the angel of Asia say, " It is the last harvest." Then as if the Lord were speaking, he said," I shall prepare My church for the return of Christ." I was happy with such good news after the message of judgment. All the time the five angels were in my room I could feel their presence - it was tremendous."

Have you noticed the patterns of these earthquakes and storms? The huricanes and oceans are upset....the earth plates are being pushed and shoved together more and more. I have been in awe of just how many earthquakes are being reported daily! It is a circular in movement....like somesone waving their arm!

I'm actually speechless!

With all the quakes, especially larger ones they've been having in that area, I'm quite surprised that nobody has connected the specific prophecy spoken of "......there will be earthqaukes in diverse places". That region of the world is undeniably the most DIVERSE of all cultures in the world. They range from tribes who still live in the stoneage to modern societies. Religiously from Christian to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam to name a few.

The word in the KJV is divers which the NLT translates into "many parts of the world." Which of course would have diversity. I just hope and pray the "many parts of the world" doesn't mean us. Which is all we can do is hope and pray.
