Iran Welcomes Russian Nuclear Offer

By STEVE GUTTERMAN, Associated Press Writer Wed Jan 25, 7:27 AM ET

MOSCOW -
Iran's top nuclear negotiator said Wednesday that Tehran views Moscow's offer to have Iran's uranium enriched in Russia as a positive development but no agreement has been reached between the countries.

Chief negotiator Ali Larijani also reiterated Iran's threat to renew enrichment activities if it is referred to the
U.N. Security Council.

Moscow has proposed having Iran's uranium enriched in Russia, then returned to Iran for use in the country's reactors — a compromise that could provide more oversight and ease tensions with the United States and
European Union over Iran's nuclear program....

Rest of the story

Russia is moving quite quickly on this one!

I wouldn't trust ANY uranium, enriched or not in the hands of terrosists supporting mullahs. Even if they never had weapons grade uranium, uraniam itself is highly radioactive and can still be used as a "dirty bomb".
