Iranian talk of an attack on America

http://www.jewishworldreview.com | There are growing indications that Iran may be planning an attack on American soil. These indicators are not secret — they appear in speeches, newspaper articles, TV programs, and sermons in Iran by figures linked to the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and other government officials, all discussing potential Iranian attacks on America, which will subsequently lead to its destruction.


A report on May 28 in Al-Sharq Al-Awsat reported that an Iranian intelligence unit has established a center called "The Brigades of the Shahids of the Global Islamic Awakening."The paper claimed that it had obtained a tape with a speech by Hassan Abbassi, a Revolutionary Guards intelligence theoretician who teaches at Al-Hussein University. In the tape, Mr. Abbassi spoke of Tehran's secret plans, which include "a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization." In order to accomplish this, he explained, "There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them."


It was reported that America expelled two Iranian security guards employed by Tehran's U.N. offices on June 29, after the mission was repeatedly warned against allowing its guards to videotape bridges, the Statue of Liberty, and New York's subway system.This was the third time the Iranians have been caught in such activities, which could be connected to the sites mentioned in potential plans to attack America.


Mr. Abbassi's speech further detailed that "[Iran's] missiles are now ready to strike at their civilization, and as soon as the instructions arrive from Leader [Ali Khamenei], we will launch our missiles at their cities and installations." In fact over the past few months, Mr. Khamenei has been vocal about the impending "destruction of the U.S." In May, he was quoted in the Iranian paper Jomhouri-Ye Eslami as saying that "the world will witness the annihilation of this arrogant regime." On July 5, in front of a crowd chanting, "Woe to the enemy if Khamenei commands me to wage jihad," Mr. Khamenei said, "If someone harms our people and invades our country, we will endanger his interests anywhere in the world."

Other Iranian religious leaders have also called for the destruction of America. The secretary general of the Guardian Council, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, appeared on Iran's Channel 1 TV on June 4 and said, "Every Muslim and every honorable man who is not a Muslim must stand against the Americans, English, and Israelis, and endanger their interests wherever they may be." When he added "They must not have security," thousands in the audience repeated chants of "Islam is victorious, America will be annihilated." On June 25,Mr.Jannati also led prayers and promised, "Anyone who confronted the revolution, the Imam [Khomeini], and our dedicated people eventually collapsed. America is the last one, and Allah willing it will collapse..."The following week Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani delivered the Friday sermon live on Channel 1, saying America will collapse like Genghis Khan's empire, "I say to you the American people…you will collapse, America will collapse."


"Time bombs within America" is how Iranian lawmaker Hamid-Reza Katoziyan described Muslims within America, who could be behind future terrorist attacks here. Speaking on Iranian TV channel Jaam-E-Jam 2 on July 27, Mr. Katoziyan warned: "The whole group of people belonging to the Arab community and…Muslims living in the U.S. are currently, in my opinion, in a special situation. Perhaps they do not walk the streets with weapons in their hands or attach bombs to themselves in order to carry out a suicide operation, but the thought is there."


Just as statements from Iranian religious and political leaders, as well as TV programs, have focused on attacking America, so has the print press. An editorial in the July 6 edition of the Iranian daily Kayhan, the conservative paper affiliated with Mr. Khamenei, issued another warning for the future: "…the White House's 80 years of exclusive rule are likely to become 80 seconds of hell that will burn to ashes…That very day, those who resist [Iran] will be struck from directions they never expected. The heartbeat of the crisis is undoubtedly [dictated by] the hand of Iran."


The report by the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States asks: "September 11 was a day of unprecedented shock…The nation was unprepared…How can we avoid such tragedy again? "Taking seriously Iran's threatening words and actions is an important first step.

I got this just a few minutes ago, in an email.....asking for us to pray over the next two weeks.

that intelligence agencies pick up chatter when something is "up," I
wanted to tell you that there is increased "prophetic chatter" right now
about an urgent need for increased intercession for the USA, Israel,
and all Nations, especially in the next 14 days. If I had any specifics
that I could put my finger on....that I could trust--I'd tell you what
those details were. But I don't have specifics. If I added them up,
you would receive warnings about virtually every region of the country,
and they would concern warnings about natural disasters, attacks on
this country, etc. Lots of prophetic chatter but no agreement for any one
thing. So, rather than instill any type of fear, and since I don't HAVE
any specifics where I can get any type of general agreement among the
prophets, let me just say that the prophetic "chatter" concerning that
next two weeks is that we need to be praying fervently and consistently
for blessings and protection from God. Pray for our President. Pray for
THE USA. Pray for Israel. Pray for our soldiers and those from other
countries. Pray for ALL--and I mean ALL world leaders...because all
world leaders are given authority only by God for the time period he
chooses them to posess that authority. My sense is that if God's people
will pray, we can accomplish great things in the Spirit realm during these
ensuing two weeks.Just today, even at my local fellowship, the Spirit
hit stronger than I've felt it in a very long time. God is on the Move.
Youth are being lit on fire. Prophecies are coming forth and prophecies
are coming true. Put simply, things are in the Spirit realm at a very
high level of activity, both good and bad. So . . . armed with this
information, pray that God will use this time period to dramatically
change-for the-better both you and your family and friends. In addition,
pray fervently that whatever the enemy has plans for will be averted
and that God's mercy will triumph amazingly over any judgment. Finally,
to all those who read this, remember this most important Scripture: 1
Tim 2:1-4 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers,
intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those
in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness
and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all

The ElijahList site is a good site. I felt really encouraged by your post from its newsletter. I want to point out that the next 14 days is within the time frame from 19 January to 18 February, which is the 30 days within which Osama usually attacks after the release of one of his messages.

I am relatively new to christian-forum. So, I want to qualify that I have had precognitive dreams for many years.

One of these, formatted similar to most of the prophetic dreams received by people, goes like this:

I see Iranian troops of all branches, air, armor, infantry, etcetera. They have different types of uniforms. Some are air special assault troops. There are even some rookies there, privates. Everyone believes it is a training exercise, except the people (in the scene I viewed) are not doing anything but walking about.

Suddenly, a word is passed and all the men are piling into the trucks. No one seems to understand what is happening. Next, I see armored vehicles navigating orange earth with stunning skill. An APC moves toward a sheer drop, janks hard right just before the edge... the right side lifts up so that all the weight is on one the left track... then, just at the last moment, the driver janks left. The vehicle goes over the edge with the right side lifted high, but in a left turn. The momentum of the left turn causes the right side to descend more rapidly. When it hits the ground, the vehicle is level. All the vehicles are doing this.

And they are navigating through what looks like impassable land.

And I hear a voice, "And they will invade suddenly with 50,000 troops. They will say it is a training exercise near the border with Afghanistan. No one will expect this. They will all be surprised."

And I see a map of the Iran-Afghan border. I checked, and the dream-map was correct.

But I have had more dreams than these! The Lord has shown me the need to release our (mine, really) jealousies, petty slanderings, fear of inadequate provisions and unking treatment of others. These things are not love! I want to be only love, and I want America to be only love!

And, I have dreamed of when the tide of war turns in our favor. And I have dreamed of peace! And the Lord showed me that the heavens WILL open and a mighty army, waiting for this day, will ride out to turn the tide of battle.

God's people win. But, it gets very hard between now and then.

All of this has happened before. God causes the same things to happen over and over and over again. (somewhere in Ecclesiastes.)

Encourage three people each day to pray and seek the Lord. Encourage others to also start encouraging three people.

Thanks Robert for the Word and the websites! I will keep praying for God's will and for protection in the comming weeks and months, and years if necsary. Got the prayer chain going here. Interesting dreams. I am so glad my nephew is home from his two tours. 1st in Afganistan anf then Iraq. But I pray for all our soldiers everywhere else too.

Michael Boldea has a vision on his site in which an angel show him the destruction of the United States. In the end, the angel lifts the fallen eagle and says to Boldea that at any time, the eagle could have returned to the high places and been safe.

The time is now.

But, how do people not attending church and not reading sites like this get the word? We all have to go out into the streets.

Something big is happening here. All the churches are receiving it together. Soon (and already in some places) there will be Christians marching in all quarters of the city, 24 hours per day.

Boldea's received vision is very encouraging. I am backing that idea... to return to the high places.

London Times: Prepare for war with Iran

Prepare yourself for the unthinkable: war against Iran may be a necessity

THE UNIMAGINABLE but ultimately inescapable truth is that we are going to have to get ready for war with Iran. Being of a free-speaking, free-thinking disposition, we generally find in the West that hand-wringing, finger-pointing and second-guessing come more easily to us than cold, strategic thinking. Confronted with nightmarish perils we instinctively choose to seize the opportunity to blame each other, cursing our domestic opponents for the situation they’ve put us in.
The rapidly intensifying crisis with regard to Iran exemplifies the phenomenon. On the right, it is said that the decision to let the Europeans play nuclear footsie with the mullahs in Iran for more than two years was a terrible blunder. Pacifist evasion is what the world has come to expect from continental Europe, but the decision by Condoleezza Rice, the US Secretary of State, to become an enabler to their procrastinations was of a different order of strategic error. An emboldened Tehran seized the chance to play them all along while advancing its ambitions in great leaps.

On the left the hands are being wrung over Iraq. It is argued that the decision to invade the wrong country has made our situation intolerably worse. Iran was always the bigger threat. While we were chasing phantom nuclear weapons in Mesopotamia, next door Iran was busy building real ones. Now we are enfeebled, militarily and politically, our diplomatic tools blunted beyond repair by the errors in Iraq.

I tend to side more with the former crowd (though let it not be said that the latter do not have a point) but it is important for all of us to understand that this debate is now for the birds. All that matters now is what we do.

The unavoidable reality is that we now need urgently to steel ourselves to the ugly probability that diplomacy will not now suffice: one or way or another, unconscionable acts of war may now be unavoidable.

Those who say war is unthinkable are right. Military strikes, even limited, targeted and accurate ones, will have devastating consequences for the region and for the world. They will, quite probably entrench and harden the Iranian regime. Even the young, hopeful democrats who despise their theocratic rulers and crave the freedoms of the West will pause at the sight of their country burnt and humiliated by the infidels.

A war, even a limited one, will almost certainly raise oil prices to recession-inducing levels, as Iran cuts itself off from global markets. The loss of Iranian supply and the already stretched nature of production in the Arab world and elsewhere means prices of $150 per barrel are easily imaginable. Military strikes will foster more violence in the Middle East, strengthen the insurgency in Iraq and Afghanistan, fuel anti-Western sentiment among Muslims everywhere and encourage more terrorism against us at home.

All true. All fearfully powerful arguments against the use of the military option. But multiplied together, squared, and then cubed, the weight of these arguments does not come close to matching the case for us to stop, by whatever means may be necessary, Iran from becoming a nuclear power.

If Iran gets safely and unmolested to nuclear status, it will be a threshold moment in the history of the world, up there with the Bolshevik Revolution and the coming of Hitler. What the country itself may do with those weapons, given its pledges, its recent history and its strategic objectives with regard to the US, Israel and their allies, is well known. We can reasonably assume that the refusal of the current Iranian leadership to accept the Holocaust as historical fact is simply a recognition of their own plans to redefine the notion as soon as they get a chance (“Now this is what we call a holocaust”). But this threat is only, incredibly, a relatively small part of the problem.

If Iran goes nuclear, it will demonstrate conclusively that even the world’s greatest superpower, unrivalled militarily, under a leadership of proven willingness to take bold military steps, could not stop a country as destabilising as Iran from achieving its nuclear ambitions.

No country in a region that is so riven by religious and ethnic hatreds will feel safe from the new regional superpower. No country in the region will be confident that the US and its allies will be able or willing to protect them from a nuclear strike by Iran. Nor will any regional power fear that the US and its allies will act to prevent them from emulating Iran. Say hello to a nuclear Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia.

Iran, of course, secure now behind its nuclear wall, will surely step up its campaign of terror around the world. It will become even more of a magnet and haven for terrorists. The terror training grounds of Afghanistan were always vulnerable if the West had the resolve. Protected by a nuclear-missile-owning state, Iranian camps will become impregnable.

And the kind of society we live in and cherish in the West, a long way from Tehran or Damascus, will change beyond recognition. We balk now at intrusive government measures to tap our phones or stop us saying incendiary things in mosques. Imagine how much more our freedoms will be curtailed if our governments fear we are just one telephone call or e-mail, one plane journey or truckload away from another Hiroshima.

Something short of military action may yet prevail on Iran. Perhaps sanctions will turn their leadership from its doomsday ambitions. Perhaps Russia can somehow be persuaded to give them an incentive to think again. But we can’t count on this optimistic scenario now. And so we must ready ourselves for what may be the unthinkable necessity.

Because in the end, preparation for war, by which I mean not military feasibility planning, or political and diplomatic manoeuvres but a psychological readiness, a personal willingness on all our parts to bear the terrible burdens that it will surely impose, may be our last real chance to ensure that we can avoid one.
