I have been feeling we are now walking into Revelations, that book of books...least understood and yet most potent. Times will be as wild as they get. JMHO.

Yes Maz, but there is much enlightment to come too before the Lord returns. He wants us burnished and polished as much as possible in this life before the next one happens

We do not know the time or place, but the prophecies tell us that the time is nearing...We need to pray for all the lost. I pray each day for God to forgive my sins. I want to be spotless befre HIM.

For all that, Revelations is a book of "unexplored territory" much like the olde worlde map and much like the Newfoundlander's map of North America...to them the continent is a big island, with a lot of unexplored territory to the west...(kidding!!)

But seriously, there things prophesied by none other than Christ are truly "out of this world" in comparison to our data base of knowledge. I can only say for myself, I would most likely become aware of specific incidents of scripture as they come to pass, but surely a forshadowing of events is likely.

My dream from days ago...

Isa 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isa 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Last night I was awake and wanted to be asleep. But my mind was astir and I was just whispering the Name "Jesus" over and over again to myself.

Just then, I saw a vision of a huge rock. It looked something like the Prudential rock, or the Gibralter rock, or even Diamond Head in Honolulu. As one viewed the rock from a distance, it started low on the left and increased in height to the right...

But the cliff (escarpment) on the high end of the rock was a sheer face and that face was leaning over from the top so that the face was a virtual overhangng cliff.

The overhanging cliff was casting a deep shadow. I noticed right away that the shadow of the cliff was exceptionaly dark. It was so dark that the shadow was nearly inpenetrable. Then I realized I could see people in the shadow. There were millions of them. It was like a world of people. But it was so dark, the most I could make out was that there seemed to be an extremely great fear. People were running to and fro within the confines of the shadow. They were flailing their arms and there was somehow a hard to discern panicked and shocked look on their faces. But at the same time, it was almost like the proverbial "teeth and eyeballs" that people joke about when they go into a disco where there is a black light and the whites show so distinctly.

I realized that the fear was being caused by the darkness, and by the fact that the rock was shaking slightly, as if by an earthquake. It was a horrifying place to be in with millions of tons of overhanging rock being shaken like this, and being in the dark so that no way of escape was readily obvious.

Further to this, I noticed that the great rock was a barren granite thing and it was devoid of vegetation anywhere. Then I seemed to be able to stand back at quite a distance and see the scene in overview. I saw that the territory surrounding the rock was very much like the light stubble that is in a farmer's field after he has harvested his wheat. It was fertile soil but the crop was all removed. Then I saw this relatively small crowd of people wandering about kind of aimlessly in the fields surrounding this rock. I was reminded of Jesus speaking of His "little flock" and sure enough, the "sheep" were aimlessly searching for something. It may have been pasture to eat or it may have been searching for The Shepherd. They were aware of the troubles of those in the darkness, but they were not risking venturing into the darkness to lead anyone else out.

All of this seems so scriptural, but I was given the verse from Isaiah. In that verse there is a reference that the world will come to us...

Isa 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Isa 60:4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at [thy] side. Isa 60:5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

Gosh I am full of the Holy Ghost and power as I read this scripture...

In the past few days, the Lord has shown me more about Satan's kingdom than I can almost bear to swallow. The enemy is more evil than I could possibly have ever imagined, and it gives me chills to think about it.

What is even more terrible is that people have no clue. Literally, the human race is walking right into a trap- including those who openly (and secretly) work for Satan.

We have had some freakish things happening here off and on.
We have a family room downstairs and my son and husband were
gone away. My daughter and I were downstairs watching a movie
with the two toy poodles. Then we here that sounded like a bunch
of people running upstairs, even the dogs barked.

I was scared to go upstairs, I went and found no one.
My grandfather was asleep in his room. I told my husband
and son about it and they thought oh boy that is strange.

Then a week later we were all downstairs and heard the same thing.
Bunch of people running back and forth-that's what it sounded like.
The next day my son was laying down on the spare bed to have a
snooze. He just layed his head down and he heard are you in there?
I believe this is from the devil because God would not scare us.

This has freaked us out! They have had heavenly visions, but never
one that scared us like this.

What are your thoughts. I think the devil is after us. There are signs
of Jesus everywhere in our home.

I think I need the do not fear word everyday Maz.
We feel satan after us.

All of us in this home love Jesus. My grandfather is
asking a lot of questions about Jesus. We are reading
the bible to him and then bamb! The devil is after us.

Dont' feed the fear, that is it's only defense.
Forget about the fear and the noises....PRAY and tell the evil to get the heck out of your house...for YOUR HOUSE IS A HOUSE OF PRAYER...in the name of JESUS I rebuke you.

At times my children have more faith than I. They were not even frightened.
They knew to speak Jesus and pray. I freaked out at first-well inside I did.
I just thought we were being invaded. I guess we were by the devil's army.

I love your name wernotalone-what comfort that is!

Whenever I'm scared of things that I experience I always close my eyes and envision Jesus placing his white light around me and I feel safe again.  I always try to hand my fears over to him.  Every night before I go to sleep I also envision him putting His light around my home and my individual family members inside (my doggies too! ) 

I've also found that the closer I get my Husband to God, the more vicous the attacks become.  You have nothing to fear if you have Jesus with you.  And from the posts I've read from you, I have no doubt you are a beaming light of Jesus' love.

They believe it is by WORKS that they can get into heaven...and a lot of other weird stuff. Neitherless..........Satan will attack when he is threatened by those who may destroy him the most. Roxygal, thank you soooooooo much for your help. I am going to do what you said. You have helped. I have not had experience with that
before, but lately there is this creepy stuff going on and an eerie feeling.

The devil is after me for that I am certain. I try and let my light shine for Jesus whereever I go.
My family members are starting to listen to me a little more. They are letting me speak about Jesus without running to another room.

Our Lord is everything to me. I feel His presence and the devil is trying to take
away my joy. Some days I feel drained, but when I read the bible and pray-oh
how I feel refreshed and ready to carry on.

But I must say that this forum and the great people here help us so much
when we need help. I have got so much Godly advice and I thank you all.

My daughter put it in and surprised me.What really surprised me is that she

There is an attack here today. One thing after the other just didn't go right.
Car got jammed while in town, deer ran right in front of our car coming home
from my dads- swirved over-freaked out again,rabbit jumped out in front
while gaining composure after deer incident, grandpa almost fell in the garage
and so on. There is more but it just felt freakish the whole day pretty well.

I think we we're walking into Revelations, the book of Daniel and several of the prophets.....

So much coming together so fast. Several years ago the Lord gave me a vision....I was walking down a long highway with forests on both sides....a lot like Washington State. the weather was warm and sunny....it was a beautiful day out. I finally came to the end of the road and there was a huge drop off into an abyass (?) every deep so I turned around and walked back up the road....the next thing I know a thick low fog hung close to the ground covering the road so you coud not see the road....it was still nice out except the for low ground cover fog. Only many people were coming down the road.....I yelled and warned them not to go down that way....there was a drop off....there were so many people and I was frantic....yelling and crying "turn back" don't go.....don't go down the road the fog is hiding the drop off. Some turned and went back but so many kept going.....and no one could see them drop off." I think the Lord knew I was burdened with so many people turning their back on the Lord....I was doing my job...warning of the danger but, it was their choice whether to heed or to ignore the warning. Some how I must have felt I wasn't doing my job....right... I don't know. After seeing the vision....I knew....it wasn't my fault that they kept on going...it was their choice.

I tell people all the time.....get close to God...read his Word....believe it...obey it...for "something wicked this way comes"......and if your are not ready....it will take you by surprise.

Rosie.....you are such a sweetie.. I have found that when I pray for others and witness.....with 72 hours of less....the enemy will scare me....like what happen to you...or...scare me in my dreams. He likes to get me in my dreams...because when I am awake.....I rebuke him in the name of Jesus and turn my praise and worship music on ....and he leaves. But, in my dreams he can scare me.....but, more in more I have rebuked him in my dreams too.....that's funny.....to me....but I am glad that the Holy Spirit helps me out there. But, my gut feeling is we are in for some heavy duty green bret spiritual warfare comming our way.....on a daily basis. God Bless. marie

I don't mean to be a broken record, but if it were difficult to understand, it would hardly be a revelation, as to reveal something suggests that it is unveiled and made understandable. We are to understand the book, otherwise it wouldn't have been written, or at very least, not named after a term of understanding.

I think the book is perfectly understandable. Read what it says, and that's what will happen. Overinterpretation can sometimes lead to losing the point of the message, and that seems to be, "This is a warning of what will happen, so be prepared and take notice, because when the poo hits the fan, God doesn't want anyone being mistaken as to who the perpetrators are, and won't walk blindly into their traps."

What if it's literal, all of it, and while everyone's point the finger at mr. white horseman yelling "Antichrist! Antichrist! Antichrist!", the REAL antichrist creeps up and slips into position under our noses? Then of course, covering all bases is a good option, since leaving any corner unguarded could leave us open to spiritual attack and confoundment. I'm not trying to challenge anyone's faith, but we should possibly look at this from a more simple, understandable by a child point of view. The Book was written so that nayone could understand it, and the parts thar aren't are labeled as such :"For he who has wisdom", etc.

Ok, so if the concensus is that it is a revealing of God's mysteries on earth right before, durring, and after the return of Christ, why are we making it so complicated with all of the interpretation, if the point of it is to be preinterpreted (less, like I said, those sections labeled as mysteries for those with wisdom)?

It just seems unnecessary to me, although the insight presented is interesting. I just see it as almost a Kabbalistic practice to reinterpret preinterpreted scripture. The book of Revelation meshes with other prophetic books, and seems to be THEIR keys, negating the need to figure it out too much further. I was posting on another forum I'm registered on that if we come up with all of these slick ideas of what is what, and lock ourselves down and handcuff them to our wrist, we are more likely to miss the actual occurances, simply because we are under the impression that a certain, reinterpreted version of the events is going to happen. For example:

Some people say the mark fo the beast is a microchip. While there is no real evidence to say that's the case, and more pointing towards a spiritual and dogmatic mark of allegience, etc, if someone who could be the antichrist gavce the mark and it wasn't a little microchip, epople could possibly receive it, being so sure it was a chip that they'd never expect something else. That's not to say I think a chip is impossible, but I do think that to lock yourself down to one belief as to what everyhting means is foolish and nearsighted. I mean, let's not get locked into one point of view here, it could end disasterously for us, since the mark could jst as easily be an oath, a tattoo, or even the recognition fo a certain day of the week as sabbath, as seventh day adventists believe. I try to look at it as 'careful prophecy', to avoid false prophecising and falsely interpreting relatively benign events.

i feel there are hidden things. Maybe not too complicated but definately not too simple and out in the open.

In Rev 3:15 " 3 Remember then what you received and heard; keep that, and repent. If you will not awake, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come upon you."

But the question is...who is going to get surprised?
Those that don't even pick up the bible are certainly are.
But how about those that run around saying "God is love, God will love me and my sinful ways." It doesn't matter if I this or that; or if I live against his expectations....He loves me anyway!"

To me, Revelations can't be that simple. Because if it was then anyone can read it (believer and non-believer). But I feel that the last days are supposed to catch people off guard that is why Rev. 3:15 is there.

It has layers of insight for those who study and follow and read His word. That is my opinion.
