MK Eitam: Netanyahu Will Allow Jerusalem to be Divided

Former NRP chairman and current National Union MK Effie Eitam sharply attacked Likud chairman Binyamin Netanyahu, saying the former prime minister will not stand up against Jerusalem’s division.



National Union MKs toured the Maaleh Adumim region Monday. The MKs inspected areas surrounding Jerusalem where Arab construction is being carried out illegally using funds from the Palestinian Authority and Saudi Arabia.

“Jerusalem is being divided, with the consent of Sharon and Peres and the illegal construction will leave Jerusalem surrounded by a fence, with a wall down the middle and surrounded by fire,” MK Effie Eitam said, “and Netanyahu won’t stop it if it is up to him.”

MK Effie Eitam told Arutz-7 that Jerusalem is already being divided in the field. “I am very concerned that if there is not, alongside Netanyahu, a bloc of right-wing Jewish parties, the connection between the nation and its land will become only a slogan for him. And we have already seen where how far the Likud can deteriorate.”

Notably, Netanyahu’s campaign slogan in 1996 was ‘Peres will divide Jerusalem.’ Following a report in Newsweek quoting one of Sharon’s campaign advisors saying Jerusalem would have to be partitioned, Netanyahu has repeatedly implied that Sharon would implement such a move following elections.

Sharon has denied such intentions.

Eitam said the Likud does not understand that its political strength is tied with its adherence to clear right-wing principles. He said that such ambiguity has caused the party’s support to decline to a mere fifteen mandates projected for the Likud in the coming elections.

I'm afraid that Israel is loosing ground fast. The West Bank and Gaza Strip were thier only defenses against invasion.

They have God to defend them--only what He allows to happen will happen. It won't go any further than He allows it to, and He will send two to help defend them.

Israel must really want Jesus to come back. This is just nuts. Anyone else think it's nuts? CRAZY.

Yes, its God way not ours. We will have to wait and see, what comes next....

FYI-I found this in my Bible study this morning. It was from a previous one (sometime ago) involving the Kings Highway, Jezreel Plain and Megiddo. Though it might perk some conversation....

I predict hamas will win the Palestinian elections and Netanyahu will win the Israeli elections. If this is the case Israel will need securing and will gladly give up land for security if the European union guarentees their security.

I also believe Netanyahu said on CNN that he thinks he is mandated by God to be in power for the rebuilding of the 3RD TEMPLE, since in Daniel 9:27 we see the 3RD TEMPLE has to be rebuilt before the future 7 year peace treaty is signed.

so with Sharon in a coma as of Jan 09,06, I believe Israel will be in chaos untill the elections and then will need securing by the EU because of the Hamas win in the palestinian elections. Netanyahu will probably demand the 3RD TEMPLE to be rebuilt and sacrifices to God reinstated in the final status talks were the European union will guarentee Israels security if they give up Land.

I came across this and found it interesting.






Isaiah 2:1-4, a prophecy of the building of the Third Temple on the Temple Mount in the Last Days, which I think is the present time:

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."

I believe Isiah 2:1-4 is the 4TH TEMPLE that Messiah helps build himself (JESUS) When he returns to Earth at the end of the future 7 year peace treaty. Also Ezekiel 40-48 is this 4TH tEMPLE also. The 3RD temple is in

Revelation 11:1-2
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

It saddens my heart to see Israel go through all this....and the dividing up of her land.....she is so undefendable....with the giving up the West Bank...and Gaza. I was in Israel in 1986.....and it was a shock to see just about one of of three in unifrom and carring ouzi ? (gun) The people were so friendly....and they loved Americans. We traveled the whole country with a rabbi as our tour guide....that was a blast. We hit it off right off the bat....we talked a lot on OT....he moved there from New York...he was an ambulance diver in New York! And believe me...we all had "white knuckles" at times... I pray for Israel a lot.....she really does need our prayers....Israel is the place to watch to see how the future goes.....she's the clock to watch for events. God Bless. marie

My heart grieves for Israel also! They are going through a lot! But the day is coming when God will give them more land than they ever had before, but not yet; Because God has not forgotten His Own. Romans 9:6-8 says, "But it is not as though the Word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; nor are they all children because they are Abraham's descendants, but: 'through Isaac your descendants will be named.' that is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants."

I WROTE THIS IN JULY OF LAST YEAR 2005

I am not sure if this is the correct verse for the Gaza withdrawl, but it fits what will happen when the Israelis are forced out of the Gaza in the middle of August. I know Jeremiah 33:7-11 are last days scriptures, so im counting on Jeremiah 33:4-5 to be last days scripture as well. heres what it says:

Amplified version For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah which are torn down to make a defense against the (siege) mounds and before the sword: They the (besieged Jews) are coming in to fight against the chaldeans and to fill (the houses) with the dead bodies of men whom I shall slay in my anger and my wrath, for I have hidden my face (in indignation) from this city because of all their wickedness.

This might be Jerusalem in the future, but by what is happening now could it be the Gaza pullout, because of the destroying of the Israeli houses in the Gaza after the withdrawl.

If this is now there will be incredible bloodshed over this issue as said in these 2 verses. The Palestinians will have big defeats to Israel if I take these verses correctly and are for these last days.

This is parting the Israelis from their land, and it will lead eventually to WW3 as Joel 3:2 states.

This is Israels land and no other people but Israel will own it in the future, like it or not Palestinians (Arabs). The bible says the Israelis and Palestinians will live side by side in the future, but Israel will always have Jerusalem as their capital FOREVER AND EVER.

Abraham Fathered Ishmael with Hagar the handmaiden (Gen 16:1-4,11,15 This makes Abraham the Father of the Israelis as well as the Father of the Arabs. So as we see its a fight between the 2 brothers for control of the land of Israel, but the Inheritance goes to the Biological son Isaac not the illegitamate son Ishmael in the future.(Gen 17:7-13)

Ishmael Will become a Nation also (Gen 21:13-18)

Isaac Fathered Jacob (Gen 25:19-34)

Jacobs name changed to Israel (Gen 32:28, 2 Kings 17:34)

Jew comes from the tribe of Judah.

A citizen of Israel is an Israelite.
A Jew is the religion of Israel.

Covenants to Israel (5)

1-Abrahamic Covenant (Foundation of all the Covenants to Israel that which God promises unconditionally to raise a seed unto Abraham and to give him and his seed an everlasting possession) .Gen 12:1-3, 13:14-18, 15:1-21, 17:1-22.

2-Mosaic Covenant (conditions of obedience to Gods commands) Exe 19:14-18, Based on the 10 commandments Exe 20:3-17.

3-Palestinian Covenant (enlargeing the Abrahamic Covenant so Israel forever owns the land promised by God) Deu 30:1-10.

4-The Davidic Covenant (unconditional Covenant with God to David reafirming the Abrahamic Covenant and adding that the blessings would be attached to the lineage of David) 2 Sam 7:1-16, 2 Sam 23:1-22.

5-The New Covenant (unconditional Covenant God made to Israel to replace the Mosaic Covenant which the people had failed to obey) Jer 31:31-40,

God gave Israel their Nation on May 14,1948 (Jer 31:10-11, Ezek 36:24, Ezek 37:1-28, Amos 9:15, Matt 24:32, Mark 13:28 (notice in Matt and mark it literally told us that Israel would be reborn just before summer).

God says the Jews would be in control of Jerusalem in the last days. (Luke 21:24) June 5-10, 1967. Israel Never had control for 2,553 years.

And here are the bounderies of the land that Israel will inherit either through war or peace or God in the future. God says its Israels land and only Israels land. They will have every inch God promised them of this land in the future.

Egypt east of the Nile River, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, The southern part of Turkey and the Western Half of Iraq west of the Euphrates. Gen 13:14-15, Psm 105:9,11, Gen 15:18, Exe 23:31, Num 34:1-12, Josh 1:4.

ALL THIS LAND ISRAEL WILL DEFINATELY OWN IN THE FUTURE, ITS ISRAELS NOT ISHMAELS LAND.
