My Lord and Savior is the Head Jew of all of us Jews. Why would you think I have a problem with the Jews? No I have a problem with the spread of false doctrines that can cause any of Christ's sheep to stumble. Only the truth will prepare them to survive what is coming. Faith in Christ alone is the answer. You won't see anything different happening in the flesh until the heavens are shut up and the oceans and waters are turned to blood. Only those who have the faith that feeds five thousand with two loaves will be able to help in that day. So you better get busy building that wall of faith or find someone who is, if you are going to survive. Because due season is here. Who knows you might even build the faith that will keep you alive without eating and drinking for 1335 days. But that won't help the faithless sheep.

45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

42 And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.

QUOTE
Revelation 10
10 Then I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.
11 And he said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."

revelation 11
1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood,* saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.
3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.
6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.
10. because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

The two witnesses come to the earth not Jerusalem. They come to many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings," as it states in chapter 10:11. They come to measure the faith of the temple that Christ built not the old covenant temple that is obsolete and done away with. They are sent to the church.

Hebrews 8
13 In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

The revelation of Christ through john was addressed to the seven churches not to the jews who crucified Christ and trampled the blood of God's Lamb underfoot.

The new temple after Christ came

1 Corinthians 6
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Ephesians 2
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone,
21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,
22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3
16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Charlie

Dear Charlie,.......I know that you mean well,.......But I am talking about a temple that the jews are going to build in the near future, that is foretold. The physical birth of of Isreal has already come to pass in 1948............................There is yet to come a spiritual birth of Israel........The majority of the Jews do not recognize Jesus as their Messiah.........but there is a time coming when they will recognize Jesus as their Messiah....................This physical temple that will soon be built is a shadow type.......I hope that you understand what I am saying.....................What you speak of is true up to a point, but you seem to not see the whole picture...........................................................................benny cool.gif

You don't get it Benny. The regathering of isreal in 1948 was and is meaningless to God except to draw off the deluded deeper into the delusions they choose. All promises to jerusalem and the gentiles were fulfilled in Christ. No one comes to God any other way except the way Christ showed and taught. They won't build a new temple and even if they did it would be destroyed with that nation and all other nations on earth during the great tribulation. After Christ came those who reject Him are themselves rejected by Him.

John 15
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

2 Thessalonians 2
11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Romans 2
28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

The Jews crucified our LORD?????????...How is it that Jesus died for the sins of the World??????????...not just the Jews?
And also NOTE verse 29..and no none are good Jesus said.

Saint Luke 18:

29. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There IS NO MAN, that hath LEFT HOUSE< OR PARENTS, OR BRETHREN, OR WIFE, OR CHILDREN, for the kingdom of GOD's sake.(I guess that makes us all sinners and like Jesus also said to Peter...CAN YOU DRINK THE CUP of which I AM to drink from?????

Yes, I'm not saying that the deciples did not suffer in the hands of the World...but only one SAVIOR who took upon himself ALL the Sins of the WORLD..and that is our Deliverer and Savior JESUS and the POWER of the CROSS from God Almighty our Father in Heaven, the son Glorifying the Father and the Father glorifying the SON.

30. Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

31. Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them. Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

32. For he shall be delivered unto THE GENTILES, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

33. And they shall scorge him, and put him TO DEATH, and the THIRD DAY HE SHALL RISE AGAIN.

For God so loved the WORLD that he sent his only begotten son, that WHOSOEVER shall beleiveth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
???????????????

so where in the WORLD did this saying of the Jews(Exclusively) being the ones to put Jesus to death...It was the whole world...not just the gentiles or the Jews?????????????????????

and then you can go back to the verse...there is neither Jew nor Greek, nor Gentile.

St.Luke 18:29

Charlie l can read it between the lines too. The Jews didn't kill Jesus. He got up on that cross willingly to die for the sin of all man kind. And his special comment at the end of his life was directed specifically to the Jew..."Forgive them for they no not what they do." Every pot was created for a purpose and if the potter doesn't like what he sees he sees he throws it back on the wheel for one more time around the mulberry bush. The dead bones can come back to life no matter how long they've been plucked from the tree. With God all things are possible. And He's not like a man that he should lie. He keeps his promises.

Israel gearing up for second war with Hezbollah

Published: 11/6/2006
http://www.turkishpress.com/news.asp?id=150091

ZARIT - The Israeli military is preparing for a new conflict with Lebanon's Hezbollah militia if a truce that ended 34 days of war this summer does not hold, a top military commander said Monday.

"We are preparing for a second war," said Lieutenant Colonel Guy Hazoot, chief of the division responsible for the Israeli-Lebanese border.

"We are very optimistic, but on our side we must do everything to prepare for a worst scenario and we are readying for a scenario that Resolution 1701 will not succeed," he said, referring to the UN Security Council resolution that ended the fighting.

Hazoot was speaking to a group of reporters from the spot where Hezbollah seized two soldiers in July 12 cross-border raids that killed eight other servicemen and sparked Israel's massive assault on the Shiite militia.

"We will not give Hezbollah the opportunity to come back to these positions," he said, gesturing to Lebanese territory across the border.

"We will do everything now to prevent Hezbollah from coming back and sitting on the border."

The liberal Haaretz daily on Monday wrote that according to military assessments, Hezbollah and Syria "are likely to start a war against Israel next summer" and "all preparations are being made to ensure maximum preparedness."

Israel and the Shiite militia fought a 34-day war that ended with a UN-brokered truce on August 14.

Following the ceasefire, several top Israeli officials have said the Jewish state must prepare for a second round of hostilities with the militia, which it says is armed by Syria and Iran. Both Damascus and Tehran deny the charges.

Aparently you can only hurl false accusations so that you don't have to pay attention to the truth. This is what the evil devils who hammered the nails threw the lambs hands were doing. They didn't want the Lord tampering with their worldly kingdom of the flesh either. Because God Himself prepared a sacrificial Lamb you want to supose in your imagination that there is no blood guilt to any man. But "woe" to those who are guilty of the blood of the Lamb.

28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people."
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

You are either a Jew by faith in Jesus Christ or you are just another blade of grass boasting of how they will survive the blistering heat of summer. Guess what? It's just vain boasting. The blade of grass will dry up and die under the power of the summer sun. Likewise everyone who has not prepared by the example and teachings of Jesus Christ will be caught off guard and will be swept away in the flood of Noah and perrish in the fire of Sodom and Gamorrah.

Syrian FM Walid Mualem threatens to start “countdown to war” with Israel failing progress on peace track

November 6, 2006, 11:39 PM (GMT+02:00)

DEBKAfile cites Mualem’s words at a joint news conference in Damascus with Norwegian foreign minister Jonas Gahr Steore Monday, Nov. 6, as an explicit threat of war to be launched against Israel at a time of Syria’s choosing.

The Syrian minister welcomed a debate going on in Israel about whether to resume negotiations with Damascus on the Golan Heights, which Syria lost to Israel in the Six-Day War. He went on to say: “We now have a window of opportunity of several months. If there is no progress, the countdown will begin for a new Syrian-Israeli war.”

On Nov. 3, DEBKA-Net-Weekly 276 revealed that on Oct. 30 British PM Tony Blair had sent his senior political adviser Nigel Sheinwald (picture) on a mission to Damascus, hoping to turn the coming British exit from Iraqi towns round as leverage for a comeback to the Arab world and make up for his failed Iraq policy. One of the items in the British official’s briefcase for his meeting with president Bashar Asad and Mualem was a secret message from Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert: an offer to start peace talks. It was posted through Blair. The Syrian president sent a return message to the British prime minister: Tell Olmert I’m ready to talk.

This move connected with a broader deal: Damascus would break away from its pact with Tehran in return for normal relations with the West. Israel-Syrian talks would kick off this process.

Both parties agreed that the Sheinwald mission and the business they discussed would be kept secret.

No sooner had the British emissary flown out of Damascus, when the Syrians leaked word of his visit together with the Syrian president’s rejection of Olmert’s offer to talk, barring a prior Israeli commitment to cede the Golan.

This was not what the Syrian president had told his British vistor. When Sheinwald arrived in London, he found out that Asad had been stringing him along before killing the Blair initiative stone cold.

All along the Syrian ruler had kept faith with Tehran. He had rolled out his usual line of peacespeak, which is routinely welcomed by European nations and others, to sugar-coat his scheme for a war against Israel with full Iranian military and intelligence backing.

Walid Mualem was more frank. “If Israel is thinking of launching a war next year this is not the way,” he said. He was evidently responding to the Haaretz report of Nov. 11 which quoted the IDF General Staff as expecting a Syrian-Hizballah war to be launched in the summer of 2007.

DEBKAfile’s military sources note that if this reflects their thinking, Israel’s army chiefs are over-optimistic. But many Israeli generals, including the new OC Northern Command, Maj-Gen.Gaby Eisenkott, judge from Syrian and Iranian military preparations that major hostilities could erupt a lot earlier and will try and catch Israel unready.

The following article is by herb peters.....Just so that you know.....Herb is not a pre-trib believer......But he is very bright........Herb believes that a 7 year confirmation will come to pass on January 1st, 2007.......I personally do not believe that it would happen on that date,by reason of Isaiah 17;1 and possibly that rapture happening back to back......The main thing to take notice, is that Herbs articles reveal that the anti-christ may extremely soon step onto the world stage......So in other words........Just read between the lines........................................................................................................................................Waiting Is The Hard Part
Waiting is the hard part. It's not that we aren't equipped. It's just that we -- if you're anything like me -- are weak. But, Jesus knew that when He called us. And, He called us anyway.

The temptation is to give up. The temptation is to accept what our hearts sometime tell us about ourselves and drop out. But, Jesus sees us differently. In fact, Jesus sees us in the way that we would like to see ourselves, as something worth loving -- as something worth dying for. That being the case, we go on. We keep doing what the Apostle Paul says. We keep reaching for that higher calling that's ours in Christ Jesus.

Yet, according to my understanding of the Bible, the really hard part may be yet before us. And, if we can't take it now, how will we then? Friends, it's time for us all to pray for endurance. It's time for us to pray for the strength to finish the course. And, if we do, we know that strength will be given. Jesus says to ask for what we need and He will give it.

Another thing we have to do is keep our hearts and eyes on Jesus -- the author and perfecter of our faith. You see, we can be easily deceived. We can be made to think we know things that we don't really know by those who seek to use us for their own agendas. But, if our hearts and eyes remain focused entirely on Jesus, He will guide us safely through. He promises us that He won't lose a single one of His sheep.

Since my job is to report prophecy related news, I spent much of the morning reading about the recent changes in the Israeli/Palestinian dispute and the growing leadership crisis in the EU. There are so many different angles to consider right now that it's easy to get confused. What helps me is to remember where the Bible tells us this all is going. And, with this knowledge in mind, a somewhat sketchy picture appears to emerge.

With the Oslo Accords and the Road Map peace plans both dead and President Bush's entire Middle East policy increasingly looking like a foreign and domestic disaster, Israel has no choice but to once again begin agreeing to things once not considered agreeable -- such as convening another Madrid type international peace conference. And, this provides a historic opportunity for the reunified nations of Europe. The only question is, will these self-seeking nations be able to come together long enough to take advantage of the moment.

The EU's seven-year European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument is to begin funding the European Neighbourhood Policy on January 1, 2007. The idea was to have the EU's new EU Foreign Minister in position to go along with the new funding instrument in order to better achieve it's political goals. And, according to all the reports, until the constitution is finally ratified, the new Foreign Minister post may not happen.

However, if we're seeing the fulfillment of the prophecies, it still possible it could. The prophecies seem to indicate that the EU's constitution will not be ratified. The prophecies tell us the nations of the revived Roman Empire will not adhere to each other (Daniel 2: 40-43). If the constitution is ratified, these nations would adhere to each other. That's because the constitution would make the multiple nations of the EU into a single entity. Yet, at the same time, the prophecies still suggest a single Roman prince who will confirm a covenant with many for seven years (Daniel 9: 26-27). So, I wouldn't be surprised to see the EU's new Foreign Minister appear -- in one fashion or another -- without the constitution. And, I wouldn't be surprised to see it happened by January 1, 2007. You see, the EU's new funding instrument was designed to do just what the prophecies suggest -- confirm a previous covenant with many for seven years.

In the meantime, the EU's Javier Solana may have accomplished putting together a Palestinian government of a kind in which a peace deal may be brokered Read about it here. Other important moves are now underway by key EU and WEU players -- like Britain's Tony Blair Read about it here.

Yes, waiting is the hard part. But, I don't think we'll be waiting long.

IRAN: PASDARAN CALL ON HEZBOLLAH TO STRIKE ISRAEL

Tehran, 6 Nov. (AKI) - In a comment just published by Iran's weekly Sobhe Sadegh, the mouthpiece of the Iranian revolutionary guards corps, the Pasdaran calls on Lebanon-based Shiite militas Hezbollah to strike Isreal with its missiles. Iran is widely believed to be arming Hezbollah, along with Syria. "It would be appropriate if Hezbollah hit (Israel's capital) Tel Aviv with its missiles to make its Zionist counterpart understand that there is no secure place in the Zionist geography."

The comment also suggests the timing of the strike which "should coincide with the next international meeting of a certain importance," possibly referring to an upcoming UN Security Council gathering to discuss sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme.

A week ago, Ali Akbar Mohtashamipour, a former Iranian ambassador to Syria who is considered a top sponsor of Hezbollah, said that Iran has started re-arming Hezbollah.

Hezbollah engaged in a 34-day war with Israel this summer in Lebanon which ended on 14 August with a fragile ceasefire to be enforced by UN-backed international peacekeeping troops in the the country's south.

The Hope That is in You

In Defense of the Faith
Monday, November 06, 2006
Jack Kinsella - Omega Letter Editor
The Bible divides the world into four regional power blocs in the last days. The western alliance [the Revived Roman empire of antichrist - Dan 9:26], the 'kings of the south' [Africa and Islamic North Africa - Dan 11:40] the 'kings of the east [China and Southeast Asia -Rev 16:12] the Gog-Magog alliance [Russian-Arab-Islamic alliance - Ezekiel 38-39].

The Bible also outlines a specific scenario for the last days, giving detailed descriptions of these four global spheres of influence.

Currently, there are five. Four of them are in a state of flux, realigning themselves, almost against reason in some cases, to conform to the scenario outlined by Scripture.

The fifth, the United States, grows increasingly isolated. Washington is so lonely it has gone into denial, sometimes even pretending it has real friends.

Prime examples of America's 'pretend' friends include Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan and the core group of Western European nations led by France and Germany. They are our 'friends' in the sense they are not currently enemies.

America has only one unquestioning and unequivocal ally within the sea of nations. That ally, the land of Israel, is the central character around which the entire end-time drama is played out.

In this generation, the world has divided itself into four spheres of influence, as measured from Jerusalem; Russia to the north, China to the east, the Islamic Middle East and Africa to the south, and Europe to the west.

America is a sphere of influence unto itself, not part of any, but engaged in -- and resented by -- all four.

This is the precise lineup of nations predicted by Scripture for a horrible end-times war that will engulf the whole earth.

The Scripture assigns a role to each of these four; Gog-Magog, the Kings of the East, the Kings of the South and the revived Roman Empire of antichrist.

There is no mention of the fifth existing global sphere of influence currently led by America. On the fate of the United States, Scripture is silent.

There are a number of possible reasons. The most obvious one is an expansion of the current world war -- one so devastating to America that it has no role left to play in the last days.

Another, more hopeful scenario would be the Rapture of the Church. The sudden disappearance of millions of Americans would also account for America's absence during the Tribulation Period.

Which scenario is correct remains to be seen. But what is of importance to Christians who are anticipating the return of Christ is the fact it is all taking shape now.

Christianity has no nationality. Jesus said we are in the world, but not of it. Christianity is, at its roots, not American. If Christianity were to have a national identity, it would be Jewish.

This is not a time for fear, but a time for prayer and for redoubling our efforts to inform the world of what is taking place. The Lord is preparing for His return. The signs of the times are all around us. There is no time to waste in pointless debate over signs, and seasons and times.

We of the Church have "a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:" (2 Peter 1:19)

We already know what is to come to pass, and what the signs of the times will be. There is no debate.

And Jesus told us that "when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)

It's true, my brothers and sisters! Jesus IS coming. The KING is coming! In the words of the old hymn, 'it may be morning, may be noon, may be evening and maybe SOON' -- but He IS coming.

The fields are white with the harvest, but the laborers be few. Don't be afraid of what is to come. Everybody you meet will be afraid.

We must be prepared and "be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"(1 Peter 3:15) ". . .for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." (Revelation 12:12)

That is the purpose of your Omega Letter. To journal the events that lead to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy in this generation, both as a warning and as a cause for hope.

What appears to be chaos is really evidence of a Divine Order. The events that are conspiring together to bring the world to the brink of annihilation are not taking place at random, but as part of a pre-ordained plan of God.

For those of us who trust God instead of our own understanding, it means that everything will turn out ok in the end, no matter how terrifying things look at the moment.

We don't know how, we don't know when, but we don't really NEED to know. We only need to know that He does. Bible prophecy confirms that everything is going according to plan.

Because we "KNOW that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Even chaos.

That's right benny a remnant of Jews who are Jews by faith in Christ Jesus. Only a remnant. Those who give mouth service may not make it. Can I convert you into seeking true faith in Christ, the faith of a mustard seed? I already told you what it is about. It is about false doctrines of those who have built mega businesses in the name of the Lord who teach false doctrine that will keep the sheep pened up and unprepared for what is really coming. The insane lady McDonald and darby and scofields doctrines, of how you are much more precious than Christ and the first church, will not help you in the day of trouble. Only true faith in Christ alone will help you.

The Hard Part

This statement encourages. It doesn't call me an evil apostate condemed to wrath. Yes...l'm bitter in my statement but bitterness produces bitterness. Doubt produces doubt. I hate it when people minimize the good and magnify the bad. THAT'S WHAT THE ENEMY DOES. God waves his angry flag but not at his little children. He calls them under his cloak to protect first. That's what any good Daddy would do.

Israeli military assessment warns Syria, Hezbollah seeking to attack

JERUSALEM – Syria and Hezbollah are likely to start a war with the Jewish state within 10 months, according to an assessment presented to the political leadership here by the Israeli Defense Forces.
IDF leaders did not release the specific timing of what they said are expected clashes, but they urged Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's government in meetings the past few weeks to allow the IDF to prepare for a possible major conflict, according to senior military officials.

The officials said the assessments, compiled by the general staff of the IDF, are based on intelligence information and what they said is the ongoing estimate by Syria and Hezbollah that military confrontations achieve results.

They said Hezbollah considered itself victorious against Israeli troops in Lebanon in July and August.

(Story continues below)

Explained a military official: "While Hezbollah took some major hits, the group's rocket infrastructure is still in tact; they are capable of firing more rockets into Israel. The war ended without Hezbollah having to return (Eldad) Regev and (Ehud) Goldwasser (the two soldiers it kidnapped in July, originally prompting the confrontations)."

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, because he was not authorized to talk to the media, said a cease-fire imposed in August by the United Nations "achieved a political win for Hezbollah."

"It recognized Hezbollah's claims to the Shebaa Farms (a small piece of territory held by Israel but claimed by Lebanon and Syria) and called for future negotiations. It also restricts Israel's ability to stop Hezbollah from rearming and regrouping, which is what they are currently doing," the military official said.

Military officials here said the past few weeks Syria and Iran have been smuggling weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon. They said the smuggling is taking place in front of a contingent of 20,000 international troops stationed in Lebanon.

"Israeli over-flights have detected the weapons smuggling," said an Israeli intelligence official. "We've shared the information with the U.N. and yet nothing is being done about it. Hezbollah is openly re-establishing itself in south Lebanon," an Israel military intelligence official told WND.

In light of the ongoing threats, the IDF said it will take several measures to prepare for a confrontation with Syria or Hezbollah, including stepped up training programs and the reworking of specific battle plans. It asked the Olmert government to approve contracts for the production of more Israeli tanks and to postpone an earlier decision to shorten military service terms here for reserve units.

Earlier today, Syria's Foreign Minister, Walid Moallem, said he hopes a Middle East peace process can be launched next year that would include Israel's relinquishing of the Golan Heights to Damascus. But Moallem warned if negotiations don't commence and yeild results within months, there will be a war.

"We hope to have in 2007 a peace process to settle the issue," Moallem said after a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere in Syria. "We now have a window of opportunity of several months. If there is no progress, the countdown will begin for a new Syrian-Israeli war."

Moallem's comments are punctuated by scores of statements by top officials in Damascus saying Syria is preparing for a war against Israel. The officials, including Syrian President Bashar Assad, claimed the Jewish state would attack Syria first.

"We must remain ready at all times. We have begun preparations within the framework of our options," Assad told the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anba last month. He gave a series of interviews to other media outlets making the same statements.

Assad said Israel could attack Syria "at any moment" and that Israeli leaders have abandoned the peace process and are seeking a war.

Yossi Beyditz, head of research for the IDF's intelligence branch, told the Israeli cabinet two weeks ago the Jewish state has indications Assad is indeed "preparing his army for a confrontation with Israel."

"Assad has not returned the army to its pre-Lebanon war positions," Beyditz said.

Israel, Syria on heightened alert

Israeli officials here claim the IDF alert level in the Golan Heights has not been raised in response to Assad's recent statements and to the new Israeli intelligence estimates. They say Israel has maintained the same heightened state of alert in the Golan Heights that has been in effect since clashes with Hezbollah broke out July 12.

But a tour of the Golan Heights last week found a number of new army positions local residents and soldiers stationed there say were established within the previous three weeks. More tanks have been patrolling the area, with several tanks setting up shop in strategic positions, according to soldiers. Makeshift military outposts have been erected and Golan checkpoints fortified.

A fence that runs along parts of the Golan-Syrian border also has been fortified, with a series of surveillance cameras newly installed. Residents in one border town told WND the new cameras were installed along the border fence two weeks ago.

Syria has noticed the beefed up IDF presence and in response has heightened its own alertness even more, according to yesterday's edition of the Qatari newspaper, Al-Watan. The newspaper said Syrian Defense Minister Hassan Turkmani ordered troops in the area to be on the ready. Syrian sources said Damascus was closely monitoring IDF activity in the Golan.

The Golan Heights is strategic mountainous territory captured by the Jewish state after Syria used the terrain to attack Israel in 1967 and again in 1973. The Heights looks down on major Syrian and Israeli population centers.

Military officials here have long maintained returning the Golan Heights to Syria would grant Damascus the ability to mount an effective ground invasion of the Jewish state.

'Damascus prepping public for war'

Security officials here told WND there have been indications the past few weeks Syria is seeking to launch a provocation. Besides Assad's statements, the officials say state-run Syrian media have been broadcasting regular warlike messages unseen since the 1973 Yom Kippur War, in which Syria and Egypt launched invasions from the Golan and the Sinai desert.

"The tone [in Syria] is one of preparing the public for a war," said a senior security official.

He said any Syrian provocation would likely be coordinated with Iran. Tehran and Damascus, which both support Hezbollah, have signed several military pacts.

Reuven Erlich, a Syrian expert and director of the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center at Israel's Center for Special Studies, told WND Assad's threats "are to be taken seriously."

"Assad's support for terrorism, for the insurgency in Iraq, for Hezbollah and his alliance with Iran are all indication of the direction in which Syria is headed. Assad needs to demonstrate he is willing to sue for peace, but everything seems to indicate the opposite. Especially following the war in Lebanon," Erlich said.

Reports: Syria to form own Hezbollah

In July, WND first reported, Syria is forming its own Hezbollah-like guerrilla organization to attack Israeli positions in the Golan Heights, according to a senior Baath party official.

The Baath official told WND Syria learned from Hezbollah's military campaign against Israel that "fighting" is more effective than peace negotiations with regard to gaining territory.

Hezbollah claims its goal is to liberate the Shebaa Farms, a small, 12-square-mile bloc situated between Syria, Lebanon and Israel. The cease-fire resolution accepted by Israel to end its military campaign in Lebanon calls for negotiations leading to Israel's relinquishing of the Shebaa Farms.

The official told WND Syria's new Front for the Liberation of the Golan Heights was formed in June and that the group consists of Syrian volunteers, many from the Syrian border with Turkey and from Palestinian refugee camps near Damascus. He said Syria held registration for volunteers to join the Front in June.

One week after the WND article detailing the claimed group was published, state-run Al-Alam Iranian television featured an interview with a man who identified himself as the leader of the new Front for the Liberation of the Golan.

The man, whose features were blocked out, said his new group consists of "hundreds" of fighters who are training for guerrilla-like raids against Israeli positions in and near the Golan. He claimed the Front has opened several training camps inside Syria.

Last month, Amos Yadlin, head of the IDF's intelligence branch, told the Knesset Syria is in the early stages of forming a Hezbollah-like group.

No. We shall continue to tell the truth without waiver. The truth will bring about either repentance or anger and wrath. The wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of the Lord. Christ did not follow mans wishey washey version of truth where it had to be delivered just right to be accepted. He told the truth outright and you accepted it and repented or you die. It was that simple. Here is an example.

Matthew 23
33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

Christ did not say they couldn't escape it. But then they had to realize He was talking about them and repent and believe in Him to escape.

God Wasn't Joking
Image what would happen if Sen. John F. Kerry decided he wanted another shot at the White House. But, knowing that he didn't stand a chance without making some changes, he decided to do something daring. He decided to change his name to Sen. John F. Kennedy. Do you think it would work?

Friends, some EU leaders are so desperate for their new Foreign Minister that that's exactly what they may be thinking. In order to get their beloved Constitution of Rome ratified, they're thinking about changing its name and trying it again. This article says:

Diplomats say they hope at least a timetable for reviving the constitution can be agreed. But officials caution the treaty will have to be revamped and that the name "constitution" will have to be dropped in order get approval of France and the Netherlands Read about it here.

Today there is another news report that -- prophetically speaking -- may be more significant. But, when I read the report about Romano Prodi and certain unnamed EU officials wanting to renaming the EU's constitution, I couldn't resist. You see, if you have read my book, you may recall something humorous that Prodi once said regarding the EU's new army. And, I believe it may say volumes regarding these proposals to rename the EU's constitution. On page 87 of Recommendation 666 we read:

Yet no matter what they called it [the EU's new military capabilities], everybody knew the EU was creating a European army. In fact, when Romano Prodi, the president of the European Commission, was jumped for using the "A-word," he snapped back: “When I was talking about the European army, I wasn't joking. If you don't want to call it a European army, don't call it a European army. You can call it ‘Margaret’, you can call it ‘Mary Ann’, you can call it any name.”

Let's move on to our next piece of news -- the more important news. There now is reason to believe both Israel and the U.S. are being forced into finding solutions to bring about the so-called "two-state" solution to the Israeli/Palestinian dispute very soon. Evidently, as the U.S. begins to consider possible shifts in its forces in Iraq, important changes concerning Israel's security will necessarily follow. The report says:

Talk of concessions to the Palestinians and moves to bolster Palestinian moderates precede nearly every visit by an Israeli prime minister to Washington. But there are signs that this time, the carrot-and-stick policy may be working.

The new American initiative coincides with talk about pulling U.S. forces out of Iraq. As they develop an exit strategy, the Americans seem to be showing greater urgency on other regional issues, like the Israeli-Palestinian question Read about it here.

So, no matter what they choose to call it, Bible prophecy just keeps coming true. In our time, it started when Israel was reborn as a nation. Now, no matter how hard they try, they can't make it go away. They can fight it, they can even cuss it and can call it a Mary Ann.

You see Romano Prodi, God wasn't joking either.

by Hillel Fendel

Responding to a plan to build a synagogue on Judaism's most sacred site, Sheikh Raad Salah warns that the entire complex is Moslem. Islam was founded 550 years after the Jewish Temple was destroyed.

Sheikh Raad Salah - head of the Islamic Movement in Israel, a Hamas supporter, and an outspoken enemy of Israel - warns that Israeli plans to build a synagogue on the Temple Mount could lead to violence and bloodshed. "The day will never come when a Moslem or an Arab will have the right to cede even one foot of the Al-Aqsa Mosque or of Jerusalem," the Sheikh's Al-Aqsa movement announced.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem was the site of the two Jewish Holy Temples, the first of which was built by King Solomon in the year 832 BCE, close to 1,500 years before Islam was founded. For most of the next 1,000 years, Holy Temples stood on the site, until the Romans conquered the entire land and destroyed the Second Temple. Though the area came under the control of the Romans, Byzantines, Moslems, Christians, Turks, British and others over the coming centuries, Jerusalem and the Temple Mount were always the focus of Jewish religious and national yearnings and continued to be the Jews' "capital in exile." In the Six Day War of 1967, the modern state of Israel liberated the Temple Mount area, placing all of Jerusalem under Jewish control once again after a hiatus of 1,900 years.

Israel, however, never actualized its sovereignty over the holy Temple Mount site, but rather granted the Moslem Waqf nearly total control. Jews, in fact, have not been allowed to pray there ever since then-Chief IDF Rabbi Shlomo Goren led a prayer service there on the first Tisha B'Av after the liberation.

As Arutz-7 reported nearly two months ago, MK Uri Ariel (National Union) is preparing a plan for the construction of a synagogue on the southeastern corner of the Temple Mount. The plan must be approved by the Jerusalem municipality's planning committee - an unlikely eventuality - and Ariel is set to meet with rabbis and public figures on the issue later this week.

MK Ariel notes that such a building would "rectify a historic injustice," and that every Supreme Court ruling on the issue has recognized the right of every Jew to pray on the Temple Mount.

"The synagogue will not interfere with believing Moslems who wish to pray at the Al-Aksa Mosque," Ariel said. "On the contrary, this is an opportunity for the Moslem world to demonstrate and prove that it is tolerant enough."

The "Moslem world" is not jumping at said opportunity. The announcement by Sheikh Salah's organization states, "We hereby warn aloud about the existence of a Jewish national consensus that is trying to build the Holy Temple at the expense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. We warn that similar plans were submitted to Ariel Sharon and Ehud Barak and their publication led to violence, the ramifications of which have not ended to this day."

"The timing of the publication [of this plan] is not coincidental," the Islamic Movement states, "and it jibes with the increased calls for expulsion [of Arabs], the implementation of the policy of religious persecution and national discrimination, and the giving of a green light to the construction of the Third Temple."

"We remind, for the 1,000th time, that the entire Al-Aqsa mosque, including all of its area and alleys above the ground and under it, is exclusive and absolute Moslem property, and no one else has any rights to even one grain of earth in it."

"We remind the Israeli establishment, which stands behind these plans, that the problem of Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem is not just a Palestinian problem, but a Palestinian, Arab and Islamic problem. The day the Al-Aqsa Mosque is harmed, Heaven forbid, all the Arab and Islamic nations will call to prevent this damage. Watch out! Beware of merely the thought of hurting or desecrating the mosque."

If the fleshly Jewish temple was destroyed by the Romans as a punishment from the Lord. What do you supose the punishment will be if they rebuild it?

Luke 19
43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side,
44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation."

There is no shame in the truth. the truth will set you free from the confusion. Solomon died in his sin which is also the truth. The Lord was with David solomons dad. But the Lord came to Solomon twice and still Solomon allowed himself to be defiled by woman.

1 Kings 11
6 Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as did his father David.
7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon.
8 And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.

The New Testament is for the individual entrepreneur.

I don't think so. Seeing how all trade will perish because it became everyones stumbling block. And everyone who is in the Lord are one with Him, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Ezekiel 28
18 "You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you.

Ezekiel 7
19 'They will throw their silver into the streets, And their gold will be like refuse; Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them In the day of the wrath of the Lord; They will not satisfy their souls, Nor fill their stomachs, Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.

John 14
20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

John 15
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

John 17
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,* who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

ALERT - The Boxer group has arrived and i don't mean Barbara

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SO how much longer before we strike Iran? and possibly Syria? Funny I have heard zilch about the Enterprise group returning. I thought the Boxer was relief for the Enterprise

http://debka.com/

November 10, 2006, 3:21 PM (GMT+02:00)

The Boxer Expeditionary Strike Group (BOXESG) now in the US Fifth Fleet area headquartered in Bahrain, consists of Boxer (picture), Amphibious Squadron 5, the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Seals), the Coast Guard cutter Midgett and

Canadian frigate HMCS Ottawa, as well as the USS Dubuque, USS Comstock, the largest landing craft in the US Navy, USS Bunker Hill and the guided missile destroyers USS Benfold and USS Howard.

The Boxer Group has just come from joint maneuvers with the Indian navy in the Arabian Sea opposite the coast of Goa, including large-scale landing practices. The group’s commander, Capt. David Angood said that if “anything important happens in the real-world environment, the task force will deal with it in the most efficient manner.”

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that the arrival of Boxer in the Persian Gulf coincided with the USS Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group’s passage through the Suez Canal on its way from the Gulf to the Mediterranean. It is the first time that a US naval strike force is accompanied by a coast guard unit. Its vessels are equipped and their crews trained for rapid rescue and aid missions to damaged ships and wounded crewmen. Their presence in the task force indicates that the Boxer strike group is prepared for Iranian attack by sea, air, submarine, sea-to-sea missiles or depth mines.

Opening The Gates
A son doesn't want to make his father's mistakes. And, if you've read my book, you know that I believe George Bush Sr. may have made a big mistake in his dealings with Israel. In fact, I suspect Bush Sr.'s mistake concerning Israel may have even cost him his bid for re-election and led to the presidency of Bill Clinton. On page 67 of Recommendation 666 we read:

What first caught my attention was the way President George Bush, Sr., treated Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir when he visited Washington early in 1992. Bush refused to meet with the man. Imagine how Shamir must have felt. He was being snubbed by the most powerful man in the world. Bush was the one person able to pull the bickering nations of the world together to liberate Kuwait. His popularity was so high from the Gulf War victory that none of the major names in the Democratic Party dared to risk challenging him in the coming election. And now he was publicly snubbing the Prime Minister of Israel. Why?

The conclusion that I came to in my book was Shamir's "Greater Israel" policies -- establishing Jewish settlements in the land captured in the Six Day War -- were standing in the way of then Secretary of State James Baker's peace negotiations with the moderate Arab states in the wake of the 1991 Madrid Conference. In other words, Bush Sr. wanted a change of administration in Israel in order to achieve his foreign policy agenda for the region. And, his presidential snub of Shamir when he visited Washington in 1992 was seen by many as helping bring that change about. In a tight election Shamir lost to Yitzhak Rabin and, shortly after, Israel began down that slippery road of trading land for peace -- falling in line with the Baker strategy.

But, like I said, a son doesn't want to make his father's mistakes. Perhaps that explains why George Bush Jr. set a different course than that of his father. Instead of reaching out to touch Israel -- as did his father -- Bush Jr. pretty much kept his hands to himself. And I can't help but wonder if it had something to do with his bit more biblical world view. And, stepping away from the policies of his father, Bush Jr. surrounded himself with like thinkers. Yet, as a son soon discoverers, he doesn't have to make his father's mistakes -- he will make enough of his own.

This is what I think: With the departure of Donald Rumsfeld Read about it here the Bush Administration has decided to set a completely different course in the Middle East Read about it here -- one that squares more closely to that of his father. Already James Baker is back on the diplomatic scene and, with the appointment of Robert Gates to replace Rusmfeld Read about it here, I suspect it's going to be the good old days for those who want to return to the hands-on approach to Israel. Israel will be made to make peace.

If so, if that's what Bush Jr. has decided to do, he's making a big mistake. Instead of making America more secure, he's doing just the opposite.

He's opening the gates..........................................................................benny cool.gif

Loose Ends
Loose ends appear to be coming together. Once again there are news reports saying a Palestinian coalition government many be on the scene by the end of the year. But, what struck me the most about this report is the way it ended. The report says:

"Peace and security will not be realized under occupation and settlement and the inclusion of noble Jerusalem into Israel," Mr. Abbas told a crowd of thousands of Palestinians Read about it here.

The reason these words interested me is because there is another way they could have been said. They could have just as accurately been stated"

You [Israel] will not have your cry for "peace and safety" answered until you get off the lands you captured in the Six Day War and give up East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

If you recall, the EU's Javier Solana has made returning Israel to the pre 1967 borders the cornerstone of his comprehensive peace agreement for the Middle East. And President Bush has brought in former Secretary of State James Baker to help formulate his Administration's new directions in the region. Baker, under the Bush Sr. presidency, showed himself to be on much the same page as that of Solana. In fact, Solana has stated that his own introduction into the Middle East peace process began at the 1991 Madrid Conference. It was this international conference at Madrid that set the idea of trading land for peace in motion. And Baker, following the Madrid Conference, set a course in American's foreign policy in the same direction. In fact, I write in detail about about this in my book. That's why Baker being back on the scene may be an important part of bringing the lose pieces of Bible prophecy together.

As far as a coalition Palestinian government is concerned, that's important too. You see, for a peace deal to be reached, there first has to be a Palestinian government in place with which Israel can make an agreement. And, by January 1, 2007, it looks like it will be there.

Loose ends are coming together.

Bush Prepares Switch on Iraq and Downgrading of US Ties with Jordan and Israel

DEBKAfile Special Report

November 12, 2006, 4:14 PM (GMT+02:00)

Monday, Nov. 13, former US secretary of state James Baker and ex-Congressman Lee Hamilton will present their recommendations on Iraq to President Bush in the Oval Office. Their audience will include an array of top administration officials: Vice President Dick Cheney, national security adviser Stephen Hadley, secretary of state Condoleezza Rice, Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte and CIA Director Gen. Mike Hayden, as well as U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Peter Pace. Incoming defense secretary Robert Gates will attend as a member of the bipartisan committee.

Absentees will include outgoing defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who stepped down after the Republican’s lost the Nov. 7 midterm to the Democrats over the Iraq war, and the commanders directly running that conflict, Generals John Abizaid and George Casey.

The timing and composition of the conference indicate that the larger decisions are already in the bag with regard to the new US policy on Iraq and a fresh approach to the radical side of the Middle East led by Iran and Syria, mainly at the expense of Jordan and Israel. Monday’s White House conference will be concerned mostly with tying up the last ends and deciding who performs which part of the revised strategy.

DEBKAfile’s Washington sources report that Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert, who is due Monday will be one of the first foreign White House visitors to hear an update on the new policy. He will find he is required to listen rather than speak. Bush will use the occasion to inform him where America’s Iraq policy leaves Israel and the Palestinian dispute.

Most of all, the US president will be looking ahead to Wednesday, Nov, 15, when he stops over in Moscow for unscheduled talks with Vladimir Putin. Air Force One was originally supposed to refuel in Moscow and continue without delay to Hanoi for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit later this week. And the Russian president would not normally have come to the airport to greet him. But the US president has decided to seize on the chance of persuading Putin to jump aboard the new American format on Iraq, Iran and the Middle East, on none of which the two leaders saw eye to eye before.

The first sign of Bush-Putin collaboration is in the air.

DEBKAfile’s Moscow sources report that Iran’s senior nuclear negotiator, national security adviser Ali Larijani spent two days of talks in Moscow on Nov. 10 and 11, during which Putin asked him if Tehran was willing to adapt its nuclear program after Washington agrees to direct negotiations.

Once president Bush decided, after his election defeat, to subsume his Middle East policy to the bipartisan model, he lost no time in realigning its elements. He took now time out for briefing America’s regional allies and dependants - whether Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki, Iraq’s Kurdish leaders, Abdullah King of Jordan or Ehud Olmert – to name a few.

No senior Israeli official was abreast of the seismic changes in Washington’s attitude before the prime minister embarked for the United States. His first stop is Los Angeles to address the North American Jewish Federations Conference. Since he is accompanied by seven cabinet ministers, he can call a mini-cabinet session to update them on his talks with Bush.

After those talks, Olmert will follow the best diplomatic traditions of US-Israeli relations, declaring that Israel has no better friend who is more committed to its security that the President of the United States and affirming full assent between the two governments on the issues of Iran and the Palestinians.

He will gloss over the reality: the New US Middle East Policy will add another negative layer to Israel’s situation and further aggravate the fallout of its Lebanon War reverses. In fact, Jordan and Israel will be the first two countries in the direct line of fire from the reversal of the Bush administration’s Iraq strategy (which DEBKA disclosed was on the cards anyway ahead of the midterm election)

Unlike Israel, King Abdullah - who gambled and lost on Bush standing foursquare behind his plans for Iraq – has at least two alternatives:

He can make common cause with Syrian president Bashar Asad and join the anti-Israel Eastern Front with Iran, Hizballah and the radical Palestinian organizations operating out of Damascus or -

He can turn south instead of north and accept the protection of the Saudi Arabian-Egyptian alliance.

Israel, in contrast, will find itself high and dry in the Middle East. After being downgraded by the Lebanon War’s outcome, the Olmert government will be obliged to accept the crack of the American whip - at least until it can build a new security option that is not dependent on Washington’s new Middle East strategy.

A clear-eyed evaluation of this prospect was ventured Friday, Nov. 10, by the new deputy defense minister Ephraim Sneh, who urged Israel in a Jerusalem Post interview to prepare to thwart Iran’s drive for a nuclear capability “at all costs”. The chances of the international community instituting effective sanctions against Iran were not high, said Sneh. “My working assumption is that they won't succeed." If Iran is allowed to acquire the bomb, he said, many people will leave Israel because no one is keen to be “scorched.” Ahmadinejad will be able to “wipe out the Zionist dream without pushing a button.”

The Israeli official’s comment was a rejoinder to the US ambassador to Israel Richard Jones’ dismissal of Israel’s ability to mount a military operation against Iran. Speaking to a select group of Israeli journalists on Nov. 7 - under cover of an anonymous “senior American official,” Jones warned Israel against attempting an attack on Iran’s nuclear installations because, in America’s opinion, it could not succeed.

But no sooner had the deputy defense minister spoken, when the prime minister’s office in Jerusalem denied that Sneh had represented the views of Ehud Olmert. By this denial, the Israeli prime minister cut out the ground ahead his Washington talks from under any independent Israeli posture in its own defense, which might have offset the deep erosion in American support for Israel.

INTL - If U.N. enforces sanctions, Iran will consider closing the Strait of Hormuz

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The editor of Kayhan Newspaper, Hussein Shariatmadari, has recently said: "if Iran is put under the UN sanctions, the 5+1 states [i.e. the USA, the UK, France, China, Russia and Germany] would the biggest losers from economic and political points of view." He has added: "closing the Strait of Hurmoz can be one of the retaliatory reactions [of Iran]... . if we are made subject to the sanctions, then naturally we can use some leverages, such as closing the Strait of Hormuz. Closing the Strait of Hormuz will seriously stop the flow of oil to the industrial states and they will face intolerable conditions. Of course, there are numerous other leverages that will be discussed later." (1)

The Strait of Hormuz is the narrow sea passage that connects the Persian Gulf to the Oman Sea. This is the only sea-passage for the export of oil from the Persian Gulf states. The Iranian forces have done several maneuvers aimed at closing the Strait of Hormuz at the time of crisis and the Western forces in the region (in cooperation with the some of the littoral countries or independently) have conducted several maneuvers aimed at deterring such plans.

The threat to close the Strait of Hormuz (2) has been mentioned time and again by many other figures in Iran (3). The officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran have threatened that if the United Nations Organization adopts serious sanctions against the regime of Iran (due to the nuclear case of Iran which is currently in the Security Council of the UNO), they may resort to the "oil weapon".

Although actions like establishment of an oil bourse (4)that uses Euro instead of dollar for its transactions, has been considered as part of the possible ways of using oil as a weapons, it seems that the "oil weapon" is anything that could be used to stop or hinder the actual flow of the much-needed oil to the international markets. This could include a wide range of actions that intentionally stop or seriously reduce the flow of oil from the oil exporting countries to the main consumption centers. (5)

However, the closing of the Hurmoz Strait by the regime of Iran has been constantly mentioned inside and outside of Iran as one of the actions that may create global crisis and start a major conflict in the sensitive Persian Gulf region.

It should be noted that any action by Iran to stop the oil flow from the Persian Gulf countries, by blocking the strait Hurmoz, attacking the shipping lines, trying to blow up the pipelines or the production and refinery facilities of the other countries in the region (such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan in the Caspian Sea, or Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain in the Persian Gulf), will be considered as a serious violation of the international laws and regulations for the concerned states. It would be in practice like giving a declaration of war to them. At the same time, it would be a serious challenge to the interests of the major oil importing states, especially the USA, that according to the Carter Doctrine considers the Persian Gulf as an area of vital interests. The US government feels obliged to stop any serious challenge to its vital interest, by all means, including the military actions.

Kenneth R. Timmerman writes: "...The Iranians also plan to lay huge minefields across the Persian Gulf inside the Strait of Hormuz, effectively trapping ships that manage to cross the Strait before they can enter the Gulf, where they can be destroyed by coastal artillery and land-based "Silkworm" missile batteries. Today, Iran has sophisticated EM-53 bottom-tethered mines, which it purchased from China in the 1990s. The EM-53 presents a serious threat to major U.S. surface vessels, since its rocket-propelled charge is capable of hitting the hull of its target at speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour...." (6)

it seems that Iran has actually enough power to block the Strait of Hormuz by sinking several big ships in the main channels of the traffic (although most of the traffic separation lines are in the side of the Strait, which are technically, i.e. according to the international law of Seas, part of Oman's Territorial waters.) Also, Iran may interrupt the shipping in the Strait of Hormuz by mining the international waterway or directly attacking the target vessels. Such actions are enough to stat a full-scale war between the regime of Iran and all other concerned forces.
This is going to be two-sided weapon. The oil prices over a hundred dollar will have serious consequences for the international economy. However, Iran as an oil exporting country will be in a difficult situation if the export of oil is stopped. "Iran's government derives about 50% of its revenues and most of its foreign currency from oil sales..." (7) Iran is not only relying on the oil revenues for its economy, but also it is an importer of the oil products. Iran has not the capacity to produce enough gasoline for the internal consumption and it has to import a major part of its needs from other countries. (In recent years, Oman has been a major source of gasoline imports for Iran). According to Peter Kiernan: "...although Iran is the second largest producer in OPEC, its domestic refining capacity does not meet local demand, and it must import about 170,000 bpd of gasoline, which costs it as much as $4 billion a year..." (8)

Ilan Berman writes "a closer look indicates that the oil weapon, whether in the form of reductions in Iranian output or military moves in the Hormuz Strait, is likely to be a double-edged sword for the Islamic Republic...in their planning, the Bush Administration and its international partners would do well to take doomsday predictions about Iranian energy leverage with a grain of salt. But they should also be thinking carefully about the economic and political costs of inaction. Simply put, Washington must ask itself whether the world would be better off with a temporary spike in energy prices created by a serious Iran strategy, or with a permanent hike in the cost of doing business in a region dominated by an atomic Islamic Republic." (9)

In the past, some suggestions have been made to reduce the importance of the Strait of Hurmoz, such as: reducing reliance of the oil exporting countries of the Persian Gulf on the Persian Gulf (especially the Strait of Hormuz) and persuading the exports from the Red Sea (although it makes the supply far from some of the most important centers of demand such as China and India).

Anybody can read the writing on the wall huh benny....and you don't even have to understand the codes.

It's such a disappointment that our government won't side with Israel for much longer. (some of you will jump for joy) But l've said it all before...so no sense repeating my dismay.

What you said about Bush senior and the possible connection to his loss to Clinton...humm..that really makes me think. I remember when that happened...l was in disbelief...talk about depressing. It very well could have been our refusal to except the preordained path of Israel.

QUOTE

Coming Attractions In World Affairs
Ikvot ha'Mashiach

Perspective by Jack Kelley

Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One. "Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters." (Psalm 2:1-3)

At the prophetic level, the results of the recent US election make perfect sense. Think about it. The Bush Administration's vision for the Middle East was a string of robust democracies from Lebanon to Iraq with leaders chosen in free elections enjoying the popular support of newly prosperous citizens who after generations of oppression feel like they're finally in control of their own destinies, and who desire nothing more than to live at peace with their neighbors. You can almost taste the sense of freedom and dignity they'd all enjoy. Kind of like the US was sixty or so years ago.

If President bush had been able to maintain the loyalty of his allies abroad and the members of his government at home, we'd be well on our way to making such a beautiful dream come true.

But where would that have left us in the prophetic scenario? No leader, no matter how charismatic, could gain the traction necessary to take over the world in those conditions. God's plan for the End of the Age, already in motion, would have been set back a generation or more.

No, the President's vision, no matter how attractive, failed to take one major factor into consideration. It's not what the Lord had in mind. So once again, a leader who professes a relationship with God has forgotten the chain of command. God is not on our team. If we're careful and humble enough, we sometimes get the chance to be on His, but as soon as we start calling the plays ourselves instead of taking His direction, He'll bench us just like that.

It's been said that on several occasions the White House has hosted well known prophecy scholars to get a sense of what the Bible says about the End Times. It's also said that the President and his closest advisors are so steeped in Replacement Theology that they treat Israel's situation as a mere political problem, not a Spiritual one, and therefore have totally missed the message of prophecy. I don't know how true those statements are, but it sure looks like they could be.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD (Isaiah 55:8)

I can understand them charging ahead over the objections of Islamic leaders, who would pay any price to prevent another free democratic society in their midst. That's a classic battle between good and evil. But to fly in the face of clear prophecy that calls for increasingly frequent wars in the Middle East that will soon blossom into a nuclear exchange before finally involving the whole world is another story. How does one reconcile a string of thriving western style Moslem democracies with that reality?

So the Lord had to throw a monkey wrench into the works to get their attention. It wasn't hard, not with the amount of pride and arrogance on display in the halls of government today. I'll bet that Satan didn't even need a personal conversation with the Lord like He did with Job. A quick text message is probably all it took to get permission to step in and mess things up.

The cut and run scenario already fashioned by our newly elected Congressional leaders is just what he needs. According to the intelligence and news services I read, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and others have begun implementing their plans for life after America's now certain departure from the Middle East. These services also report that the US and Iraq both know that Iraq's government will fall and the country will be split up into several autonomous regions, probably along Sunni, Shiite, and Kurdish lines. That King Abdullah of Jordan has spent the past several months in seclusion with his troops preparing them to guard their border with Iraq against the attempt he knows is coming to topple his government next. That the Saudis know their days may be numbered, too. That Israel is planning for another war with Hizbollah within six months and knows that Syria will line up against them too. That the Lebanese government will likely fall and be replaced by one loyal to Hizbollah. That Israel's Asst. Defense Minister has promised to prevent Iran going nuclear "at all costs." That Russia's intention to become the dominant player in the region is made clear by recent actions in Syria and Lebanon that we've already covered. (See Isaiah 17 Countdown.)

So, with the dismantling of the Bush Middle East Strategy things will soon be back on track prophetically. I know that I sound like the worst kind of negative thinker according to world standards, but we have to realize that God is well into the process of bringing His own peace plan to fruition in the Middle East, and His plan is by far the best. The Bush plan, like all the other plans before it, was actually a hindrance to God and would have the effect of delaying the very thing it was designed to produce. A lasting World Peace. The reality that all of man's plans have tried unsuccessfully to avoid is that it's going to take one more really horrific war to get it. God harbors no such delusions.

"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." (1 Cor. 1:19)

Those who disagree with students of End Times Prophecy call us defeatists, but we're actually on the side of victory. They want man to solve the world's problems because that way they don't have to depend on God. Depending on Him makes them responsible to Him, and in their view that's something to be avoided at all costs.

They don't realize that man is not equal to the task. History shows us that the 20th century can be characterized as a century of war interrupted by brief periods of peace. Each new war has been made necessary by man's failure to address the problems created in the previous one. Now, in the 21st Century, only God can solve the world's problems and until we realize that, things will only get worse.

Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." (Luke 21:24)

With the recapture of Jerusalem, the Times of the Gentiles are over. God has promised to step back into the picture now to resolve His issues with both Israel and her enemies so that peace can follow, and although it sounds counter-intuitive, sidelining America removes a major obstacle to that goal. America has been too powerful an ally of Israel's to leave any room for God to work.

America's decline must continue until Israel's enemies no longer fear any US opposition to their efforts to destroy the Jews. As soon as that happens, they can attack and God can insert Himself into the equation on Israel's behalf.

As Christians we need to remember that the only Earthly nation promised a place in God's Kingdom is Israel. Obviously there will be others around, but Israel will occupy center stage. America has been blessed only because as a people we've been on God's side, not because He's been on ours. But those days are over. There is simply no Biblical reason to believe that God has favored America with a role in End Times prophecy. For if God's own nation Israel could be cast adrift for disobedience, how much more so a nation that is not his.

In the absence of Israel, the Church has been God's kingdom here, not the USA. American believers get confused about that. And even the Church has been characterized as aliens in a foreign land. Our homeland is in the New Jerusalem, not Earth, and soon we'll go there while God completes the restoration of both His nation Israel and the planet we've nearly destroyed.

The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." (Psalm 110:1)

Meanwhile, as believers we're neither Republicans nor Democrats, but Monarchists awaiting the return of our King. While we wait we need to fight for the values we uphold in a climate that's becoming more hostile to these values by the day. That means supporting anyone we can find who espouses them, and just as importantly, not supporting those who don't. And when those we've depended upon betray us, as they will, we have to hold them accountable. It's a losing battle, fraught with disappointment, but it's only for a while.

And don't forget. We're part of the problem too, because we've become way too comfortable with the ways of this world. Remember, we're supposed to be in the world but not of the world. For those with one foot in the world and one in the Kingdom, the next little while might be pretty frustrating since it will require increasing levels of compromise to get along.

It's long past time for us to stop depending on our paychecks, our government, even our constitution for our security, and start looking to the author and perfecter of our faith again. He's the only one you can neither leave nor lose. He's the only one who is faithful and true. And He's the only one who has promised to see to our needs. Even so, come Lord Jesus. 11-11-06

DEBKA-Net-Weekly: Very recent Iranian-North Korean nuclear collusion revealed

November 13, 2006, 7:32 PM (GMT+02:00)

A disturbing piece of US intelligence was due to be laid before the US president George W. Bush’s strategy review conference with the Iraq Study Group and talks with the visiting Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert in Washington. It was bound to color the two events which both took place Monday, Nov. 13: Twelve days before North Korea’s first nuclear test on Oct.10, a secret Iranian military delegation of nuclear and missile experts was present in Pyongyang. The visitors were taken round North Korea’s Yongbyon reactor and the Punggye-ri testing site in the far north amid the preparations for the coming North Korean test.

This visit was first disclosed on Nov.10 by DEBKA-Net-Weekly 277.

To subscribe to DEBKA-Net-Weekly click HERE .

Some US officials received the impression that the Iranians were briefed on some of North Korea’s secret preparations for the test. If true, this would point to three developments in North Korean-Iranian relations:

First, China was in on the Iranian visit, but ignored it, preferring Pyongyang to carry the can as Iran’s nuclear partner rather than Beijing.

Second, China must also have known about the coming North Korean nuclear weapons test and only pretended to have been taken unawares by Pyongyang’s ten-minute advance notice.

Third, North Korea not only agreed to open its most secret nuclear installations to Iranian scrutiny, but is also willing to instruct Iranian scientists and technicians in Pyongyang or on their home ground on how to set up and execute a nuclear weapons test.

DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s Tehran sources add: Iran’s overweening self-confidence in its ability to carry through its nuclear aspirations in the teeth of international rancor hinges heavily on its certainty of Sino-North Korean assistance.

Israel will 'not tolerate' a nuclear Iran: Olmert
Nov 13 8:56 AM US/Eastern

Israel will not accept a nuclear Iran, visiting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told US television, but while not ruling out military action, said he hoped diplomacy would dissuade Tehran from pursuing its nuclear program.
"We will not tolerate the possession of nuclear weapons by Iran," Olmert told NBC television's "Today Show" program, ahead of talks with President George W. Bush on Iran's nuclear ambitions and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Asked whether his country was considering a preemptive strike targeting Tehran's nuclear facilities, Olmert answered: "I hope we don't have to reach that stage."

But the Israel leader said his first choice is a negotiated resolution.

"Every compromise that will stop Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities, which will be acceptable to President Bush, would be acceptable to me."

Olmert added that he was not seeking Washington's protection from Tehran.

"I am not coming to the United States to ask America to save Israel," he said, saying his country had drawn the lessons of the Holocaust and World War II.

"In the 20th century someone said, 'I will liquidate a nation of people.' And somehow the whole world heard it, may have understood it, but didn't do much to prevent it."

"Now we have the president of Iran speaking on every international platform that the purpose of his efforts is to ultimately wipe Israel off the map," Olmert said.

"I am not looking for wars or confrontations. I am looking for the outcome," he said, adding that in his view the only result that matters is "whether it will succeed to stop Iran from possessing nuclear weapons."

Monday's summit, which comes six months after Olmert's first meeting with Bush at the White House, has been described by officials in Jerusalem as "a down-to-business meeting" on Iran.

With Tehran continuing to reject international calls to halt its nuclear enrichment efforts, Israel in recent months has moved the Iranian threat to the top of its agenda.

Backed by the United States, Israel has said sanctions are necessary following Tehran's failure to suspend uranium enrichment, and has hinted at possible military action against the Islamic republic.

"This is not an issue of Israel only. It is a moral issue of the whole world and the whole world has to stop it," Olmert said.

........................................................................................benny cool.gif ........P.S....Iran will reach the point of no return in March 2007.....This gives insight to how much time that Israel can wait or delay a strike against Iran.

DEBKAfile reports: Shin Bet Chief Yuval Diskin Stern issues stern wake-up call for Israeli government to get its military act together in Gaza before it is too late

November 14, 2006, 3:37 PM (GMT+02:00)

Gaza’s traffic lights have moved from amber to red, red, red, he said in his briefing to the Knesset foreign affairs and security committee Tuesday, Nov. 14. The buildup of terrorist strength in the Gaza Strip is now a strategic menace which threatens to make the territory a second Lebanon unless it is dealt with promptly. Diskin reported that the Philadelphi route along the Egyptian border is wide open for smuggling - 30 tons of explosives and weapons have slipped through to the Strip in recent months. Egyptian control is ineffectual and the European monitoring mechanism problematical. Palestinian terrorists regard Nasrallah as a national hero. They treat his anti-tank weapons, guerrilla tactics and fortified underground bunkers as models for emulation, said the spy agency chief, confirming repeated DEBKAfile reports.

There are only two ways to arrest the slide in the Gaza Strip, according to Diskin. Either build up Fatah so that it can stand up to Hamas, or send the IDF into action.

DEBKAfile’s military sources stress that the first option, which prime minister Ehud Olmert and defense minister Amir Peretz have embraced, is of no practical use either in Gaza or the West Bank - although they have offered to let Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah have thousands of guns and ammo.

This is because Fatah is in an advanced state of disintegration whereas Hamas has enhanced its strength to the point of no return. In Diskin’s view, which is supported by most IDF generals, the Israeli military option is the only feasible one.

But Olmert, Peretz and foreign minister Tzipi Livni are standing in the way of this course because of their misreading of the situation, exactly in the way they failed to grasp the Lebanese reality before, during and after the war.

Syrian-Iranian arms supplies roll into Lebanon unhindered, Hizballah is restoring its fortifications and missile deployment in South Lebanon, yet Livni says in Los Angeles that UN resolution 1701 calling for an arms embargo and action to prevent Hizballah rearming and regrouping in south Lebanon was a good move - if it can be implemented, she added. That it cannot be implemented is obvious except to those who choose to hold the measure up as a great Israel achievement and war gain.

On the Gaza front, another government spokesman commented this week that Egyptian control of the Gaza border was improving, a myth which Diskin easily exploded Tuesday.

The aura of unreality hanging over Israel’s policy-makers was remarked on in the United States during the visit paid by seven ministers this week. Olmert was the first to attract notice. On arriving at the White House Tuesday, he told President George W. Bush warmly that the American operation in Iraq had brought” stability to the Middle East” - a comment which jarred badly with the general perception of the American voter and everyone else, including the entire Middle East.

Asked by reporters for an opinion on an early American withdrawal from Iraq, he said in effect: What withdrawal (sic)!

And foreign minister Livni told a bemused audience in Los Angeles: “…

If the promise of 'Never Again' supersedes the price of oil then the time for international indifference and hesitation in the face of the Iranian threat has long passed."
