Wondering here.........who is this idiot and why is he in charge of IRAN? Did Iran actually vote this guy in or was it another rigged election. This seems to be a trend across the countries; this is strictly an observation though.

SO, will Iran suddenly have the European Union in their country? Will this so-called (sick disgustlingly deranged nincompoop of a moron) leader of Iran develop a sudden tumor? What will happen....Those who curse Israel??? I wonder.

IRAN PRESIDENT: MOVE ISRAEL TO EUROPE

Iran's Ahmadinejad says Israel should be moved to Europe
Dec 08 11:51 AM US/Eastern

Iran's hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that if Germany and Austria feel responsible for massacring Jews during World War II, a state of Israel should be established on their soil. Ahmadinejad, who sparked an international outcry in October when he said Israel "must be wiped off the map", also repeated his view Thursday that the Jewish state was a "tumour".

"Now that you believe the Jews were oppressed, why should the Palestinian Muslims have to pay the price?" the hardline president asked in an interview with Iran's Arabic-language satellite channel, Al-Alam.

"Why did you come to give a piece of Islamic land and the territory of the Palestinian people to them?

"You oppressed them, so give a part of Europe to the Zionist regime so they can establish any government they want. We would support it," he said, according to a transcript of his original Farsi-language comments given to AFP.

"So, Germany and Austria, come and give one, two or any number of your provinces to the Zionist regime so they can create a country there which all of Europe will support and the problem will be solved at its root," he said.

"Why do they insist on imposing themselves on other powers and creating a tumour so there is always tension and conflict?"

Al-Alam said Ahmadinejad was speaking in the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia where he was attending a two-day meeting of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference that opened Wednesday.

"Is it not true that European countries insist that they committed a Jewish genocide? They say that Hitler burned millions of Jews in furnaces ... and exiled them," Ahmadinejad told Al-Alam.

"Then because the Jews have been oppressed during the Second World War, therefore they (the Europeans) have to support the occupying regime of Qods (Jerusalem). We do not accept this," he said.

He also noted that European countries "believe in this so much and are so determined that any researcher who denies it (the Holocaust) with historical evidence is dealt with in a most harsh way and sent to prison."

The Holocaust was Nazi Germany's systematic slaughter of an estimated six million Jews between 1933 and 1945, mainly in the latter years of World War II.

Official Iranian media frequently carry sympathetic interviews with Holocaust revisionist historians -- who attempt to establish that the number of Jews killed by the Nazis was wildly exaggerated.

Iran refuses to recognise Israel.

Ahmadinejad said his second proposal was for "a referendum in Palestine for all the original Palestinians" to decide on the future of what is now Israel, the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

But the president said that "the best solution is resistance so that the enemies of the Palestinians accept the reality and the right of the Palestinian people to have land."

...I read this one. He's been saying some nutty things lately. The scary part about this guy was that during the Iranian crisis in 1979 the former hostages immediately recognized him as one of the "ring leaders" involved in taking our American citizens from the embassy there. Now he's president of Iran!

My feeling is his advisors are misinforming him. I do believe God has a plan that involves him, and for some reason 1 Kings 22:20-22 comes to mind:

"(20) The Lord asked, 'Who will deceive Ahab so that he will go and be killed at Ramoth?' Some of the angels said one thing, and others said something else, (21) until a spirit stepped forward, approach the Lord, and said, 'I will deceive him.' (22) 'How?' the Lord asked. The spirit replied, 'I will go and make all of Ahab's prophets tell lies.' The Lord said, 'Go and deceive him. You will succeed.' "

(oh yeah, sorry about the la palma thing, Dennis. I checked the weather forecast and God made it a beautiful day out there. Phew, good bye epsilon biggrin.gif )

hmmm...

why is it such a bad idea for Germany and Austria to take this advice from the Iranian president?

and heck, while they're at it, why not give some of Hungary up for grabs. Wasn't it at the Austro-Hungarian border where WW2 began and then jews started getting hauled to the various camps?

This man is intent on starting something. This goes back to what I had mentioned earlier per scripture (1 Kings 22:20-22)

Also, are the related threads in this forum on the same subject. I think these developments warrant such an importance that the other threads should somehow merge to keep track of this as it unfolds.

Iran, West head for confrontation
Wed Dec 14 2005 09:34:38 ET

By repeatedly calling for Israel's destruction and slamming the door on a nuclear compromise, Iran's hardline president has put Tehran on a collision course with the West, diplomats and analysts warned, AFP reports.

In his latest anti-Israeli assault, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dismissed the Holocaust as a "myth" and said the Jewish state should be moved as far away as Alaska -- views that one European envoy posted in Tehran described as "way beyond political incorrectness".

"At first, we were tempted to put it down to inexperience or a simple gaffe," he said of the firebrand president's string of outbursts, which began in October with a call for Israel to be "wiped off the map".

"But there is now a clear pattern of confrontational, extremist rhetoric apparently designed to upset the international community. And he's succeeding," said the European diplomat, who asked not to be named.

According to the diplomat, "the very radical change of tone in Iran has to be seen in the context of the nuclear issue" -- or fears that Iran is using an atomic energy drive as a cover for weapons development.

"This kind of talk from the president is not confidence-building, this is confidence destroying. It undermines all the diplomatic efforts to find a mutually satisfactory compromise on a very serious issue. You can't help but feel pessimistic."

Developing...

If you remember earlier this month, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had expressed doubt that the Holocaust occurred and suggested Israel be moved to Europe. His comments followed his call in October for Israel to be "wiped off the map," which sparked widespread international condemnation.

He has been cautious about re-establishing formal ties with the US, which were broken in 1979. He said "America's unilateral move to sever ties with the Islamic Republic was aimed at destroying the Islamic revolution...
"America was free to sever its ties with Iran, but it remains Iran's decision to re-establish relations with America."

Is Mr. Ahmadinejad's fanatical devotion to a mystical religious figure the underlying motive for his defiance of the world and his call for the destruction of Israel?

According to Shi'ite Muslim teaching, Abul-Qassem Mohammad, the 12th leader whom Shi'ites consider descended from the Prophet Mohammed, disappeared in 941 but will return at the end of time to lead an era of Islamic justice.
"Our revolution's main mission is to pave the way for the reappearance of the 12th Imam, the Mahdi," Ahmadinejad said in the speech to Friday Prayers leaders from across the country.

"Therefore, Iran should become a powerful, developed and model Islamic society."

"Today, we should define our economic, cultural and political policies based on the policy of Imam Mahdi's return. We should avoid copying the West's policies and systems," he added, newspapers and local news agencies reported.

Ahmadinejad refers to the return of the 12th Imam, also known as the Mahdi, in almost all his major speeches since he took office in August.

A September address to the U.N. General Assembly contained long passages on the Mahdi which confused Western diplomats and irked those from Sunni Muslim countries who believe in a different line of succession from Mohammed.

This fascination has prompted wild stories to circulate.

Presidential aides have denied a popular rumor that he ordered his cabinet to write a letter to the 12th Imam and throw it down a well near the holy city of Qom where thousands of pilgrims come each week to pray and drop messages to the Imam.

But what really has tongues wagging is the possibility that Ahmadinejad's belief in the 12th Imam's return may be linked to the supposed growing influence of a secretive society devoted to the Mahdi which was banned in the early 1980s.

Founded in 1953 and used by the Shah of Iran to try to eradicate followers of the Bahai faith, the Hojjatieh Society is governed by the conviction that the 12th Imam's return will be hastened by the creation of chaos on earth.

Ahmadinejad, who is only the second non-cleric to become president since the revolution, has made clear his immense respect for Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah-Yazdi, a deeply conservative cleric with close ties to the Hojjatieh-founded Haqqani theological school in Qom.

Conspiracy theorists, never in short supply in Iran, allege that many members of Ahmadinejad's cabinet and other key appointees are Haqqani graduates and Hojjatieh followers.

"It seems that they (Hojjatieh members) have recently become more active and are spread through the government," said a political analyst who declined to be named.

"The president has repeatedly said his government will pave the way for the Imam's return."

...nay , God raised him up unto Himself ..........

Obviously there is a glaring error . The Jews wouldn't kill Christ . Christ means the Messiah , the Anointed . It was because the Jews didn't think he was Christ that they killed him .

To me , Islam is a Samaritan religion .

Next year I'm sure will be all about Iran and Israel and that Iranian president guy.

Bush calls him; 'AN ODD GUY' for lack of a better word:

Bush calls Iran's leader 'odd'
From correspondents in Washington
December 17, 2005

US President George W. Bush said overnight that building democracies in Iraq and Afghanistan would embolden reformers in Iran, and he branded the Islamic republic's hardline president "an odd guy."

"The stakes in Iraq are beyond just making sure that Iraq is not a safe haven for Al-Qaeda," the network behind the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Mr Bush told PBS television in an interview.
"In dealing with Iran, one (of) the real fundamental ways to help encourage the reformers in the country is for there to be two democracies, two new democracies: Afghanistan and Iraq," he said.

President Bush also took aim at recent comments by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who unleashed a wave of criticism this week when he described the Holocaust as a "myth" after previously calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map" or moved to Germany or Austria.

"Iran's got a president that, that, you know, second-guessed the Holocaust and has announced ... the sort of destruction of Israel," said Bush. "He's an odd guy."

Mr Bush said Iran "can't deny" that it supports the militant, fundamentalist Hezbollah movement, "which is trying to derail (the) Middle Eastern peace process."

Washington has accused Iran of seeking nuclear weapons, promoting instability in Iraq and trying to undermine efforts to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians

Good point......Dean? What is your take on this guy and the codes? You know since he believes in apocolyptic end times (quite different from what we believe) and the arrival of this 12th Imam is another clear indication that the prophecies are going to be fulfilled very soon. But this Imam will be the antichrist.

About Bible Code software:

This is written in response to a request for bible code software. I really don't like encouraging people to study the codes much on their own, but rather just to verify other codes with software to see if they are there and then use your discernment to tell if they are not simply the product of random chance; because, the vast majority of those that proport to have discovered bible codes are simply random chance.

I just use a free program and I use it very little really, for I believe that the codes that the Lord has given me came by revelation, and as such no program can help much. It is the same with the bible numbers. The Lord showed the numbers to me, and although a calculator helps, a calculator is not why I discovered them otherwise others would have unlocked this mystery in full as well. Rather, the Lord gives understanding to whom He wills, and He usually gives it to those unqualified in the natural. The bible code program is like a calculator; without the Lord's help (and ONLY if He wills) all is a vain search!
