What Is The Day of The Lord?

By Richard F. Ames

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The book of Revelation describes a mysterious time known as the Day of the Lord. What is it, when is it, and how long will it last? And what will it mean for you and your family? Your Bible has the answer!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bible prophecy reveals that before Jesus Christ returns, the earth will face a time called the "Day of the Lord," when God will judge every nation on earth. Yet few today understand this key prophetic time period—a time that will come very soon.
How do we know it will come soon? The Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, described dangerous conditions that would prevail in the end-time. He said, "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows" (Matthew 24:7–8).
Does that sound like our world today? Terrorism threatens the Western nations. Record-setting natural disasters—cyclones, hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and tornados—have killed hundreds of thousands in recent years. The atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 ushered in a new age of mass destruction. Nuclear weapons can now destroy all life on planet earth. Will mankind destroy itself, or will God spare us—at least some of us?
What is the Day of the Lord? The Apostle John wrote, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet" (Revelation 1:10). The phrase John used—the Lord’s Day—is used nowhere else in the Bible. What was John writing about? John was not describing Sunday—if he were, he would have called it "the first day" of the week as he did in the Gospel of John. In fact, he was not referring to any day of the week. John was describing the period of time the rest of the book calls the prophetic Day of the Lord—the end-time sequence of events that will culminate in Jesus Christ’s return as King of kings and Lord of lords!
Serious students of Bible prophecy understand that we are in the biblical end-times. The history of mankind demonstrates that nations will use every available weapon of war to gain territory and conquer other nations. Since 1947, the "Doomsday Clock" of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists has symbolized world nuclear danger and the state of international security. On January 17, 2007, citing "the threat of a second nuclear age and the expected consequences of climate change," the Bulletin moved the hands on the Doomsday Clock forward—to five minutes until midnight. Will the coming years see the Doomsday Clock moved all the way to midnight? Bible prophecy reveals the answer.

The Seven Seals

In Revelation 5, we read about a scroll sealed with seven seals. Jesus, the Revelator, opens the seals to the book. We read the description of those seals in Revelation 6. The first four seals are known as the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. The first horse—the white horse—and its rider represent false religions, false Christs. Jesus Himself points out the sequence of these end-time events in Matthew 24, also known as the Olivet prophecy because Jesus spoke it on the Mount of Olives.
The second seal reveals a horseman riding a red horse, with the power to take peace from the earth. The third seal presents a rider on a black horse, representing the scarcity of food and the resulting famine. The fourth seal shows a rider on a pale horse, with the power over one-fourth of the earth to kill major portions of earth’s population.
Cynics say there have always been wars, famines and pestilences. But, as time goes on, we will see the four horsemen of the apocalypse intensify their ride, with increasing global consequences. These four horsemen comprise the first four seals. What happens when the fifth seal is opened? "When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held" (Revelation 6:9).
This fifth seal describes the martyrdom of the saints, true Christians. In the first century, the Emperor Nero violently persecuted Christians, and put them to death. A major end-time persecution of saints is also predicted by this fifth seal. Then Jesus opens the sixth seal, revealing the heavenly signs that will shock people all over the earth: "I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place" (Revelation 6:12–14).
Not only will asteroids and meteorites frighten people, but massive earthquakes will also shake the earth. As the Apostle John saw in vision, "every mountain and island was moved out of its place." These earthquakes and dramatic events in the heavens introduce the Day of the Lord. God will get our attention! Those who reject the Creator and His way of life will be judged. Obviously, it would be better for all of us to repent and humble ourselves before God now, rather than having to be terribly shaken later.
These heavenly signs introduce the Day of the Lord, the time of God’s wrath and judgment on an unthankful, rebellious world. It may surprise some of you, but Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, will be wrathful. He will execute God’s righteous judgments. The Day of the Lord is called "the great day of His wrath!" (Revelation 6:17). The seventh seal of Revelation, which follows the heavenly signs, describes the Day of the Lord. And the seventh seal consists of seven major prophetic events introduced by trumpets. Notice: "When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets" (Revelation 8:1–2).
These are also called the seven trumpet plagues. They comprise the Day of the Lord leading up to the Second Coming. The Apostle John writes about the first four trumpets in Revelation 8:7–13. They describe ecological disaster. One-third of all trees are burned up, and all green grass is burned up. One-third of all living creatures in the sea die; one-third of ocean-going ships are destroyed. One-third of rivers and springs become poisonous. One-third of the sun, moon and stars become darkened.
The whole world will experience the great day of God’s wrath! Why? Because the nations have followed false religions. And many nations will follow ungodly dictators who will fight against Christ at His coming.

Judgment, Then Peace

Just what is the Day of the Lord? It is the time of God’s judgments on the nations. Yes, all nations on earth will come to judgment. But God’s judgment on the nations will ultimately end in world peace. What is the solution to world wars, violence, and conflicts? The solution to the world’s problems is the return of Jesus Christ to rule all nations, and to teach all nations the way to peace. Jesus Christ, the King of kings, will "judge between many peoples, and rebuke strong nations afar off" (Micah 4:3). Christ will judge the nations during the Day of the Lord, and beyond.
The Day of the Lord is the seventh seal of Revelation. Remember that during the Day of the Lord, seven trumpets sound and announce God’s judgments on the nations. After four of the seven trumpets have sounded, three trumpet plagues remain, and the Apostle John writes what he sees and hears in vision: "And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, ‘Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!’" (Revelation 8:13).
The last three trumpet plagues are called woes. The word "woe" is an exclamation of grief. The first woe or the fifth trumpet plague is described in Revelation 9. The fifth angel sounds a trumpet that begins a military action that lasts five months. And what power supports that military action? "And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon" (Revelation 9:11).
Yes, the destroyer, Satan the devil, gives power to this military force. The second woe, or the sixth trumpet plague, is pictured with symbols of horses and horsemen. Here we see an intense military counterattack. "One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things. Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, ‘Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates’" (Revelation 9:12–14). An army of 200 million drives west across the Euphrates River and destroys one-third of the earth’s population! "So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed; by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths" (Revelation 9:15–18). This phase of World War III will kill billions of humans! Jesus said in Matthew 24:22 that unless those days were shortened no flesh would be saved—otherwise, all life on earth would be destroyed!

The Final Trumpet

So far, we have briefly discussed six of the seven trumpet events that comprise the Day of the Lord. The sounding of the seventh and final trumpet proclaims the good news genuine Christians long to hear: "Then the seventh angel sounded: and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!’" (Revelation 11:15). This seventh trumpet announces the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth and the return of Jesus Christ. At this last trumpet, faithful saints, waiting in their graves, will be resurrected as spirit beings (1 Corinthians 15:52). They will then rule with Christ on the earth for a thousand years to produce lasting peace among the nations. Revelation 20 announces that wonderful future called the Millennium. You and I need to be preparing for that time! And we need to study and understand Bible prophecy.
The seventh trumpet announces the good news of Christ’s takeover of world governments. But the seventh trumpet is also called the third woe! Why? Because it will also signal the seven last plagues! The sixth of those last plagues includes preparation for what is known as Armageddon. In northern Israel, on the plain of Jezreel near Megiddo, will be gathered massive military power and might! These armies will actually fight against the Commander of heaven’s armies, Jesus Christ. The Apostle John writes: "Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:11–16).
When Christ returns to this earth, He will conquer all His enemies. He will conquer the nations and their powerful armies that fight against Him at His coming. The Day of the Lord will bring God’s judgment on the nations. As we have seen, in one sense the Day of the Lord is the year preceding the return of Christ. In another sense, it continues on through the Millennium and on out to eternity.
The Apostle Peter describes it this way: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells" (2 Peter 3:10–13).
The Apostle Peter exhorts us to be in a spiritual state of readiness. We must be alert to the Day of the Lord, a sobering period of judgment on the nations. Beyond that lies Tomorrow’s World, a wonderful time of beauty, prosperity and restoration under the rulership of Christ. May God speed that day!

The Day of the Lord is His "Day" .... and extended period of time to include His period of wrath and judgment of 7 years against an unbelieving world, His millennial reign on the earth for 1,000 years ..... and beyond

Man's day of self rule will cease

Greetings in the name of the Lord:

I thought that these verses were appropriate the thread and could help in discernment: which is about the "Day of the Lord"

Isaiah 13:6. and Joel 1:15. And they are both the same, KJV ; and you can look them up.

But the Day of the Lord, is a " As a Destruction from the Almighty". Not a good thing.

In my opinion; I am sure it is a Man made destruction in part termed " As a destruction from the Almighty": As the Abomination which maketh desolate, causes this desolation, destroying his own land and own people.

But many confuse the " Day of the Lord" as the Rapture or second coming, But the , discernment as to foundation of Scriptures really doesn't exist. Not that I have ever read using the words. " Day of the Lord". God is consistent.

I pray my words do not offend, God bless all Christians in forum, and all those who use it.

The "Day of the Lord" refers to the Lord's wrath and destruction of an umbelieving world in this context

It is a period of time with time lapse

The Day of the Lord is not the same thing as His "harpazo" action for the Body of Christ

This action will only take a moment in time ... and it will be executed just before He brings His day of sudden destruction which will transpire over a 7 year time frame

This period is still pending

The "gathering" in 2Thessalonians 2 is the "harpazo" action .... next is the day of the Lord's wrath in the passage

You tell them

I prefer to believe the scriptures on this issue

The earth is not yet in the throws of the Lord's coming judgment period

You are one who claims that your are in the time of the Lord's coming judgment today ... and you have no idea what you are talking about

Until you understand that the persecutions and trials of this temporal life, which have been going on since humans were created, .....and the Lord's coming wrath and judgment are two very different things, you will never get it right

He destroyed the human inhabitants of the earth for unbelief and intransigence against Him with a flood in a very short period of time once .... personally and directly

When the Lord raises His angery hand in judgment there will be no place to hide from Him and no question in the minds of those who will be in the way

He is going to do this again a second time .... in a different way

And He will do it again after his millennial reign ..... in another way

You do not want to be found refuting His intended call and timing for the Bride of Christ

Psalms
2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

I fully agree, as we see clearly in scripture that the saints do not see rest until the Day of the Lord, HIs revelation. Hence those that trouble the saints, the wicked unsaved, will continue to persecute and put the saints through tribulation all the way until the end of the world, when the last trumpet sounds. I find it amazing that people who twist God's words are those who think they know the most and actually know the least. It is undenialble here that we see the suffering of the saints continuing on until the Lord is revealed in flaming vengeance, and taking it upon those that obeyed not the gospel, and taking his vengeance on those that troubled the saints, up until, btw, The Day of the Lord, THe day of His wrath, The day of his judgment. We see that promised here, and Paul gives full expectations to the saints, to keep this in rememberace. Where do these pretribbers get they will fly away out of persecution, before the trib starts, when Paul tells us here to expect it until Jesus returns to pour his wrath out if flaming fire on the ungodly. Notice, the rest does not come until Jesus returns to burn the wicked. Rest with us when the Lord Jesus shalll be revealed, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that obey not the Gospel, and on them that trouble you. This means there is no rest from persecution until the The Day of The LORD. To say the opposite is heresy, The apokolysia is the revelation or the day of Jesus is revealed, apokolysia.

The first word to cover in the NT used to describe the second coming is parousia. It means coming, arrival, or presence

As we read I Thes 4 which pretriber claim to be a secret hidden coming we see it used here. This is His people, glory, and honor. Thier steadfastness is used in connection with the Rapture of the Church. Here is part of it, We that are alive, that are left (survived) unto the coming (parousia) of our Lord, shall in no wise preceed them that are fallen asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. It is difficult to find a secret coming of Christ in thees verses. His coming will be attended with a shout, the voice of the Archangel, and the Trumpet of God. Many have said the trumpet will so loud it will wake the dead.

Furthermore, as we continue this study we discover the same word parousia or return of Christ will not only occur at the rapture but to destroy the man of Lawlessness, the Antichrist. II Thes 2;8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, (parousia): and then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord shall bring to naught by the manifestation of his parousia. This is obviously no secret event, as the parousia of Christ will be an outshining, manifestation. Furthermore this verse list the parousia of Jesus at the end of the tribulation. One would naturally conclude that rapture of the saints, the resurrection of the just, and the judgement of the antichrist will all take place at the end of the tribulation, during a single coming.

To make matter even more sound for the Posttribers, Paul said said that at His parousia, Jesus will be accompanied by all his saints,(I Thes 3:13). To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming, parousia, of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints. This is the same return as we see in II Thes 2, and notice his saints return with Christ to receive their own ressurected bodies, indistructable changed to the likeness of Christ.

The parousia will be an incredibly glorious event. Christ will destroy the man of lawlessness by the breath of his mouth, and with the manifestation (literally, epiphany or "outshining") of His parousia. The way the KJV renders this is NOT incorrect

THis is a recap so that we can pick up where we left off. Now things will start to get clear for everybody or anybody that maybe confused. We will tie it together and see why the coming, arrival OR parousia happens during the epihany OR outshining, Glory or brightness of Chrst, and even occurs at the apokalypsis, or revelation. This basically will mean to you the reader that when christ comes or arrives to earth, parousia, he comes to earth not to be present in the air or present with us in heaven. It also will means that When he comes His Glory will be seen by all or his epiphany. Finally These two events will also occur simultaneously with his apokalypsis, or revelation Ultimately, we will see that the arival, outshining, and revelation will be accompanied by His rewards for the saints, his saints, his angels, and His judgement for the ungodly world. This is Bible and is easy to prove. The pretrib falacy is impossible to prove because nowhere do we see the events in the oders they describe; nor do we see them seperated by two imaginary second comings of Christ. They merely make inferences of things that do not exist in scripture, as they are caught up in a precisely planned form of heresy, formed by those followers of Darby, Scofield, the Illuminate, and Irvine and by these men themselves

Back to the epiphany or the Glorious outshining of God, Jesus Christ or the Shekinah Glory is where we need to pick it back up. Then the revelation, apokalypsis will follow. Moses after meeting God in the burning bush had a bit of Shakinah transferred to him from being in the holy, bright pressence of God. He had to wear a veal to cover the brightness. Jesus when he returns will outshine; the outshining is described as being as bright as the sun. In Mathew 24 we see it. In II Thes 2 we see it as well in Revelation and many other places.

Pretribers believe that I Thes 4 is a sperate coming because it only speaks of the rapture of the saints. Yet if you look at it closely, the church of Thesalonica was concerned about the dead in Christ. That is why Paul say, But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. Paul is merely reassuring them that Jesus will raise them and bring them also; He admonishes them not to sorow. Since the scripture mentions nothing else, pretribers ascribe this as being a seperate rapture. Yet Paul correnct that in II Thes 2:1 as he mentions our gathering together unto him, Remembe he says. Then he gives more detail and for coming the word Parousia is used to validate this as being the same event.

Pretribers like to ascribe the word presence to Parousia at the pretrib rapture all the way to the Revelation, after the tribulation. In between these events they claim the word presence is used. In this case if the word meant Presence it would take away from the true meaning of Parousia, as used which means the return or arrival of Christ. It is as the coming the rapture will occur, presence does not occur or fit. It is at His coming, not his presence that the angel will accompany him. It is at his coming his saints will return with him. It is at his coming he will return, epephany, as a bolt of lightning, etc. The Parousia of Christ is His Second coming and will bring both salvation and Judgement in the same event: salvation to the saints and judgement to the world.

Apokalypsis which means revelation in the Greek is used to describe the Lords return also. This revelation they claim comes as the so called second part of the second coming of Christ at the end of the tribulation. The rapture they claim takes place at the begining, before the tribulation. If this is true than the apokolypse of Christ is not primarily The Blessed Hope of the Christians. This they claim is for the judgement of the wicked and not for the salvation of persecuted saints. According to pretribers the rapture of the saints at the secret coming of Christ is our blessed hope and is the object of our fond expectation, not the Revelation.

The Revelation

Take note also, very important, Paul says Our testimony was remembered amoung you, the saints, suffering in that day, The Day Jesus is revealed, The Day of the Lord.

The Revelation

This however is not true at all. We are waiting for the revelation or coming of our Lord Jesus Chist. (I Cor. 1:7) So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. If we are supposed to be gone before the Revelation or when CHrist pours his judgment on the wicked world dwellers, then why are we told in scripture we are to wait for the revelation, when Jesus confirms us till the end, the end of the world that is? Pretribbers must misconstrue these verses also, but the meanings aare plain and simple to those in the light. THe words mean what they say, simply. However since pretribbers are focused and taingled in their web of corrupt traditionalism, they persist in the same error, just as the Roman Catholic church continues to do so. Here we clearly see the Church is waiting for the Revelation also, not just the world whose judgement is pending. Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. The church is to suffer affliction until the coming, or until the time of the apokalypse of Christ. Paul says that "it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you, and to you that are afflicted. , rest with us at the Revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ form Heaven, with teh angels of His power, in flaming fire. The affliction does rest until the Revelation, contrary to what pretribers claim. According to pretribers the rest took place in some fairytale seven years earlier, at a secret, hidden, mysteious rapture, and they even got rewards and went to the marriage of the Lamb. Yet, according to God's Word, the rest is received at the Revelation or end of the world. So why are we told to wait until the Revelation again, if we are gone as pretribbers falsely claim with misguided, perverse assumtions, not asserted anywhere in scripture? We see many places in scripture that teach the church is here until the Revelation of Christ; in essence it means we are hear until the end of man's sinful kingdoms, and until the end of the tribulation. Now we are presenting scipturally interpreted truth, word by word. Pretribbers cringe when we whip out verses like this, because they can not get around the actual meanings of these verses. There is no way to corrupt these meanings. They can corrupt verses Like Revelation 3:10 and most people wont catch it, but not verses as these, where the meanings are contained in the verses themselves and require no additional exposition from other scripture sources.

rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ

Where do these false prophets get their false doctrine? Why do they trouble us with it? The doctrines comes from Satan and they trouble us with it because they may very well be unrepented in their sin. This truth is plainly seen in scripture, yet they can not see and refuse to see it. Are these those that had pleasure in unrighteousness that they receieved not the love of the truth. If so God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.

BTW, the word, unrighteousness is not sin as you may think here. What it means is these folks had pleasure in putting things out of harmony with established usage. To say that the saints are not here unto the revelelation is to put scripture out of harmony with established interpretation and usage. This is why, I beleive God will damn those that do such, the wrath of God may abide on some of them for such, already. Those of you that know me, know, I do not try to make vain statements. So to those that do not know me, if it seems like I am, please ask for an explanation of why I may have said something or why I am saying this. Here it is. What it boils down to is this, "What man makes wrong in the harmony of God's word, to man, makes it wrong to and with God. This ruins man's relationship with man and therefore it ruins man's relationship with God also. For those of you that think you do not need a constant purification process to stand in the presence of a Holy God, you had better take a good look in the mirror. The pleasure in unrighteousness is the wrong or injury done to others by displacing God's word out of Harmony from where God intended it to be. Do not say that God revelation will bring wrath to ungodly and but no rest to the saints, on that day. Do not say the rest comes seven years earlier before the tribulation begins with a pretrib rapture; that is a lie and completely out or harmony with GOd's word. Clearly, if you do, then you are most certainly having pleasure in unrighteousness, or putting God's truth out of HARMONY. These are seriously deep verses, and their meanings present more than meets our eyes, when we disect them to uncover their truth. This great truth we have just covered comes from the Greek word, ADIKIA and this is the meaning presented here in scripture.

Again Stephen go and tell those who are going through tribulation NOW, that their suffering is a figment of their imagination and that they will be raptured....

That's a interesting topic that you have there, but I have spotted multiple flaws in your interpretation of a post-trib rapture, such as an example of the following below. It does not jive with scriptures.

You quote:..."Furthermore, as we continue this study we discover the same word parousia or return of Christ will not only occur at the rapture but to destroy the man of Lawlessness, the Antichrist. Of all the post-tribbers I have come across, you are the only one in this belief who claims that the revealing of the anti-christ happens at the end of the tribulation. All other post-tribbers and pre-tribbers agree, that the revealing of the anti-christ happens the moment that the "Abomination Of Desolation comes to pass.
Jesus said, “I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him."
The Lord made this statement to national Israel and not the church.
Everyone knows today, that Israel has not yet recognized Jesus as their long awaited Messiah. But there is a time coming when the spiritual birth of Israel is going to happen and thus, all of Israel will be saved.
Today, national Israel believes that the messiah will come and bring peace, and scriptures reveal that the anti-christ will come and destroy many through peace.
When the 7 year covenant has been confirned between the ac and Israel,.....it is then that Israel will believe that she is at peace, but was deceived by the false messiah.
