Greetings my friends I realize that some of u may not know me. My name is Helen I have't been on in a while b/c I have been without a pc. I moved to Eldon MO the end of Feb. to take care of my sick mom. We were told in the beginning that it was several mini strokes. Well through the months she only got worse and in the last 2 months of her life they said she has Lou Gerhigs Disease..aka ALS I took care of her here at home with the help of hospice it was so hard but God got me through it. She died July 25 of this year. I have a sister Mary and a brother Bob who have really had a tough time with her loss. My brother is the one I am really concerned with right now. He also just lost his girlfriend. She left him for another guy. Anyway PLEASE pray for him I have heard him talk of suicide so many times and I am doing my best to keep him going. U/C he is illiterate and had always relied on our mom for help in life I promised my mom on her death bed that I would stay here and look after him. Well that is trying in its self. Anyway, I just really need prayers for him. I am trying to get him back to school. But all he wants to focus on is another girlfriend. He is that type who just really needs someone in his life. He even got evicted b/c he had allowed his g/f to move in with him and wasn't supposed to. So now my son Bob and myself are going to get a place and share bills. Please pray for me b/c I have a hard time living with 2 men family or not. Also my sister has a prayer request....her Pastor Bro. John is in bad condition he had to have heart surgery and during the surgery this morning both lungs collapsed so please keep theses issues in your prayers and God will richly bless you...Thanks again your sister in Christ Jesus...EVEN SO COME QUICKLY LORD....

Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts. I can't even imagine how to explain the trials I went through as I cared for my mom and daily had to watch her draw closer to death. My sister, my brother, and I were all there holding her hand as she took her last breath. The night before that I was alone with mom has I had often been and I talked to her and assured her that we would all be ok that she could let go now and go be with The Father. I held her hands and prayed for God to just take her and the pain away. that morning when the nurse came she knew that mom only had a short time. She told me to get my brother and sister there. It wasn't 15 min after they arrived that mom took her last breath. Even now speaking of this brings tears to my eyes. I loved my mom so much and I really miss her. All of your prayers are my stronghold. God is my strength. I love you all so much

Now I have another prayer request an URGENT one. Some of you will remember me seeking prayer requests for my daughter and her husband who is a drug addict..(the son in law). His addictions went to crack cocaine their marriage had gotten to the point that Amber didn't even want to be around him. He sometimes took the children to the dealers homes. He wouldn't work and when he had the kids while Amber was hard at work he really didn't pay much attention to them. I could on and on but God already knows the reality of the situation. Amber filed for divorce while he was away at his moms she in Indiana he in AR. She finally told him today and he is beginning his threats. The same threats I got from her dad of taking the kids and the car. Within the past 12 years I have heard my son in law speak of so much morbidness and I have even prayed about how he woud like to kill and about how he would do it. I have heard him tell Amber that he would break her legs so she couldn't leave him. I ask you from the bottom of my heart PRAY for Amber and the kids their safety is relevant when it comes to an addict. He says he is done with the drugs but he has said that before and within a very short time is always back on them. I fear for her and the children. Her own dad stalked me and in the end put a butcher knife to my throat and said "kill me or I will kill you". I know the fear that she is facing at this time in her life and I know that if God does not intervene that bad things can happen. I am sorry that I have gone on and on but I just wanted to fill you ion as much as I could so that all would know the importance of this request....

It is so good to hear from you. nYes I have been through much but my praise goes to God for all the strength and calmness that HE has richly blessed me with. Do I want to run and hide where no one can find me? Do I want to be served instead of always serving others.. I will not say that it has not crossed my mind what I can say is that I only think of the answer to both ?'s being yes. However, those thoughts only stay with me for a extremely short time. I am instead reminded by my wonderful Father that my rewards will be great if I stay the course and I will one day be able to hear those words that many before me have heard (I am reminded of Paul and all that he endured and the other apoltels) "welcome Home my faithful child" It has been a long journey through the years but I would not have any of it changed. Including the pain I have had to live with both pysically and emotionally. I am tired but I must go on till that wonderful day when God calls His children home and with all that is going on I believe in my heart that the day is quickly approching.

THANK YOU ALL Lfor the kind and encouraging words and for the many prayers that have gone up on my behalf. My brother is doing good his depression has lessend. He is getting envolved in other things that puts a smile on his face and I know that it is your prayers being answered. So all of you who have said a prayer or more look up to heaven and give God the praise that He deserves for being such a GOOD FATHER. I can't wait to hug all of you when we gather by the river and sing praises to God. Again thanks for your love I still need your prayers because as I have said I am tired and weak. I think that my mom's passing is just now begining to catch up with me. I guess the greiving part now begins I had been so preoccupied with my sister and brother and daughter and her husband that I have yet to go through that but now things are quieting down and I have more me time PLEASE PRAY FOR ME the pain is much bit God is GREATER...
