Beloved, renew yourself in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stir up the gift that is within you. Allow My Spirit to manifest His fruit through you and to exercise His gifts for ministry in your life. Be available. Focus your energy on spiritual things instead of allowing fear of the future to swallow you up. You cannot walk in faith and have a spirit of fear at the same time. Remove all doubt and fear so that you can actually be free from confusion and hear My instructions, says the Lord.

WORD TO PONDER: WHAT YOU MEASURE OUT IS MULTIPLIED 6/05/08

Precious one, when you pour and give out of the cup of your life, it is like putting money in the bank. My promise to you is that as you sow, you shall reap a multiplied measure of what you have sown. You will be given increased measures and more will be given.



Sometimes I inspire you to pour out your cup in times of plenty because I know you will need it later. My timing is not your own, but you can count on My laws of sowing and reaping a harvest. I always give back with interest. It all starts with the size of your measuring cup. This harvest is My spiritual law in the natural and in the spiritual. Remember this, for as your life flows in and out through ebbs and tides, you shall receive back in your time of need.

The God of Love Says:
"STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND!"
In Mark 3, Jesus entered into a synagogue and found a man there with a withered hand. The Pharisees were watching Him to see if He would heal the man on the Sabbath.

"And He said to them, 'Is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to kill?' But they kept silent. After looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, He said to the man, 'Stretch out your hand!' And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored" (Mark 3:1-5, emphasis mine).

The Pharisees had no regard for the man whose hand was withered. They did not care that he suffered; his handicap was of no concern to them. Their hearts were so hardened they felt no pity for what the man had endured. They did not love him. But Jesus did care about the man and they knew that, that is why they were watching Him. They wanted to catch Him breaking the rules.

They cared more for their religious rules than they did for those whom the rules were made for. They were more concerned for the form of godliness than for the power that form was made to hold. Jesus said in the last days there would be those who have a form of godliness, but deny the very power of God (see 2 Timothy 3:5).

The power of God was not necessarily the healing that transformed the man's hand, but the compassion that Christ felt for the man. His love caused Him to "break the rules" and heal on the Sabbath. Truly, the great power of God is that God is love. Everything He does is motivated by His love for His creation.

Jesus loved this man enough to break the rules for him. Yet, He was grieved and angry at the hardness of hearts of the Pharisees at the synagogue. He saw their callousness - how they cared more for their rules than this man - this angered Him. His response was to face their judgmental attitudes head on, and in defiant anger to their hateful hearts He told the man, "Stretch out your hand!"

Defiant Love

Jesus didn't care that He was breaking their rules, He cared only to love this man and restore him. He did what was offensive to the Pharisees because He was moved with compassion for the man. His love was defiant in the face of their hypocrisy.

He was not grieved because rules were broken, for He was the One who broke them. On the contrary, He was grieved because they cared more for their rules and laws than they did for people.

Jesus was a rule breaker for the good of men, while the Pharisees were rule keepers at the cost of men. They sacrificed people for the sake of the law they served. Jesus served the people He loved at the cost of the rules He broke.

A Good Idea!

Jesus told a story of how King David and his companions came into the house of God and ate consecrated bread that was reserved for the priests. He did this because his men were famished. David broke the rules for the sake of his men (see Mark 2:25-26).

Jesus told them, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath" (Mark 2:27).

The Sabbath was made so we would have a day of rest; that sounds like a wonderful idea. But the Pharisees turned this rule that was made for the good of man into a harsh legalistic law that men must obey or face their wrath.

When we take a good rule and use it to wound or manipulate others, we have become no better than the Pharisees. Rules in ministry are good, but when we put our rules and regulations above the people we serve, we are no longer serving people, but the rules we have established. If we put our rules above God, making them more important than Him, we have stopped serving God and are now serving rules. God is a God of order, but He is more so a God of love.

The Greatest Rule

Many times in Scripture Jesus broke the manmade laws in order to show forth the law of love; but Jesus was also a great advocate of the law. He pointed out that the greatest law was the law of love; to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself (see Mark 12:30-31). And, indeed, God showed us His love when He sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins.

If we stack up all our manmade rules against the law of love, they fall terribly short of the heart of Christ. They are good, yes, but the law of love is greater, and in that love we will find the true power of God. Indeed, we will find God Himself!

Whose House Is It Anyway?

The Church has been inhibited because we have cared more about "having church" than "cherishing" the true Church, which is the people the church structure was made for.

Have you ever seen a child scolded for running in church? I smile at the memory of an usher scolding a child for acting like a child in the house of God. I smile because the Lord says, the Kingdom belongs to such as these (see Matthew 19:14).

If it truly is God's house, He says, "Let them run!"

If it is God's house, He says, "Let them come to Me!"

If it is God's house, He says, "Set the captives free!"

If it is God's house, He says, "Rejoice!"

I guess we've got to decide who the boss in God's house will be. Will it be our rules? Will our rules be strong enough to fight against God Himself? Can they take on the Big Guy? Or will our rules come crumbling to the floor as Christ Himself stands and says, "Stretch out your hand!"

Will the Church today answer the Lord when He asks, "Is it lawful?" Or, will we remain silent like the Pharisees, knowing the answer, but resigning to keep silent because of the hardness in our hearts?

Will we grieve the Lord? Or, will we choose to love and set the world ablaze with the love of Christ? I can't wait to find out what we will do, because I am proud of the Church, and I know what the answer will be!

Please pray this with me:

Dear Father, give me the heart and mind of Your Son. Revive my love for You and Your people. Set me free from religious bondage that I may love like You love. Give me the courage to break a few rules if it means I might set the captives free with the power of Your love.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to bless His holy name! Oh, give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy is everlasting. His truth endures to a thousand generations. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me. Bless His holy name! What shall I render unto the Lord for ALL His benefits unto me? Daily He loads me with benefits.

This is surely a time to be thoroughly undergirded by strong prophetic intercession. For as surely as the waters cover the seas, the sky incorporates the heavens, and the Father is seated upon His throne -- men's souls are being tested and tried to the fullest measure.

In the midst of the most troubling times known to man, the one who choses to have his harbor and refuge in the Most High God, finds safety, shelter and a strong tower.

It is high time that we awake out of sleep, for certainly, our redemption has drawn nearer than when we first believed. It does not yet appear what we will be like, but we know that when He appears -- we shall be LIKE HIM! Glory to God!

You have heard me report here in this forum many times over -- the severe afflictions that my Mother has endured in her body over the past two and one half years.

Just week before last my Mother lay comatose and on life support for five days, with pneumonia and septic shock. Mom had been exposed to a very sick lady as her roommate in a rehabilitation center. Her system was severly compromised -- and she nearly checked out of this life as we know it! But God!

When you know that not one of your prayers are ever in vain, you cannot be defeated. Therefore, you must resolve that you will not quit.

Prayers of absolute faith are being offered up for my Mother around the entire world. I believe with my whole heart that my Mom will not die before her calling, purpose and destiny have been fulfilled in the earth. My Mother is a "young" 70 years old, with a strong prophetic anointing upon her life. God has always dealt with my Mother very strongly in prophetic dreams and visions -- with extreme accuracy.

She will not be cut off by the hand of the enemy -- no matter how intense the attack is heightened against her physical body.

Say this with me:

"I cannot be defeated; and, I will not quit."

"I cannot be defeated; and, I will not quit."

"I cannot be defeated; and, I will not quit."

God is looking to find FAITH in the earth. Will He find it in you? God is not moved by your need -- He is only moved by your FAITH. Faith comes by hearing; that hearing is of the Word of God. Speak to yourself in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Make melody unto the Lord in your heart. Sing unto the Lord a new song. Rejoice in all the earth. Be exceedingly glad. Encourage yourself in the LORD. Rejoice! And, again I say REJOICE!

Be of good cheer. Know that your Elder Brother Jesus the Christ, the Anointed One, has spoiled all principalities and made a show of them openly. For this cause was the Son of Man manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Jesus went about doing good and healing ALL that were oppressed of the devil.

The work of the Cross is a complete and finished work. You are the enforcer of that work. You need not fear. You need not be afraid.

God is with you. God is for you. God is on your side. He has already given you the VICTORY. Victory has a voice. You must declare daily from your own mouth the Living Word of God to walk in that VICTORY.

Declare daily the promises that apply to your LIFE ASSIGNMENT. Declare daily the Living Word of God that pertains to destroying every demonic stronghold that has held you bound and in captivity. Recognize that the enemy of your soul is appearing like and as a toothless lion. His roar is:



You cannot be defeated. You will not quit. You are MORE than a CONQUEROR!

(1) VISION - ECONOMY on LIFE SUPPORT

I wanted to write and share a vision I had several years ago...

The Lord showed me a body laying on a bed in a hospital setting.
The patient was named The Economy. His chart was at the foot of his bed and
the lines on the graphs seemed to be marked by sharp up and down turns.

He was breathing "falsely". He was surrounded by many specialists who were
doing many things to keep him alive. He was totally on artificial life
support. Just then, the Chief Physician came in, looked at the patient, and
declared, "This patient is dead. Let that which is dead die." With his own
finger, he threw the switch to cut off the life support.

The Economy heaved, gasped, and died horribly.

End.

I believe that we are headed for a global meltdown of the world economy.
This will bring chaos and ruin but will strip people of their false god of
money and many souls will be brought to Christ.

If we are walking in obedience to the Lord, we have nothing to fear.
Ask the Lord for wisdom to get your economic house in order.
Seek first the kingdom of God, And his righteousness, and all these things
(materials needs) will be added unto you.

(2) VISION:- Two BLACK MONDAYS

"...In my last article I mentioned a vision of the Stock Market's
'Big Board' having serious upcoming problems. I saw the Stock
Market soar and then crash. After the crash, many big business
corporations and private parties bought up stocks because of the
low cost to buy in. Then I saw the market begin to climb again
in a short period of time. Then it crashed again bringing tremendous
loss, ruin, and devastation to all who bought in the first time.
This is what I have labeled "Two Black Mondays." The time period
between the Two Black Mondays was very close together. I could
not tell exactly how close. It could be a couple of days to a
couple of months. There are some tell-tale signs indicating the
season and the setting. *I saw the season to be when 'the leaves
fall to the ground' then the first crash would occur.* I also saw
the Yen and Mark fall dramatically just before this sudden and
inexplicable crash. Like Joseph in Genesis, I believe America
will have fat years of financial blessing. I also believe there
are coming lean years of financial difficulty for America.
I do not believe God is showing this so people can beat the game
financially. I rather believe He is saying keep your eyes on
eternal things. Store up treasures in Heaven."

Where you once walked in trust and certainty, you have succumbed to apprehension, self-depreciation, doubt and mistrust. This attack against you has been for the purpose of shutting you down so that you cannot fulfill your kingdom destiny. Rise up and take back what has been stolen and go forth again with a sense of purpose and power, says the Lord.

Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge.


The Lord has been speaking this scripture into my heart day after day...and these words are not just limited to healings but for ALL things! We are being called to rise up in our faith for as our Lord says....ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH BE IT UNTO YOU!!!

Have the faith to believe God's word and promises in every circumstance. He is faithful and true!

DO NOT, THEREFORE, FLING AWAY YOUR FEARLESS CONFIDENCE, FOR IT CARRIES A GREAT AND GLORIOUS COMPENSATION OF REWARD.
FOR YOU HAVE NEED OF STEADFAST PATIENCE AND ENDURANCE, SO THAT YOU MAY PERFORM AND FULLY ACCOMPLISH THE WILL OF GOD, AND THUS RECEIVE AND CARRY AWAY (AND ENJOY TO THE FULL) WHAT IS PROMISED.
FOR STILL A LITTLE WHILE (A VERY LITTLE WHILE), AND THE COMING ONE WILL COME, AND HE WILL NOT DELAY.

BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE AND BE SATISFACTORY TO HIM. FOR WHOEVER WOULD COME NEAR TO GOD MUST (NECESSARILY) BELIEVE THAT GOD EXISTS AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THOSE WHO EARNESTLY AND DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM (OUT). HEBREWS 11: 6

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying, "Thou Son of David, have mercy on us." And when He was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus saith unto them, "Believe thou that I am able to do this? And they said unto Him, "Yea, Lord." Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith be it unto you." -Matthew 9:26-29, KJV

In todays Scripture passage, we see two blind men in need of healing. They went to Jesus, whom they knew had the power to heal them, and said, "Have mercy on us."

What I want us to pay attention to is Jesus' response to these men. He asked, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" Then He said to them, "According to your faith be it unto you."

The thing is, healing was already made available to the blind men, even before they asked for it. But their healing was conditioned upon their faith that Jesus was able to heal them.

What about you? Is there something you are in need of today? Think about it, and know that whatever you need, it has already been made available to you through Christ Jesus. It is according to your faith, you will have it.

Encouragement:
Say this, "It shall be unto me according to my faith." Read and meditate on Matthew 9:29.

Many years ago when I first became a Christian I had many things to overcome to build my faith and authority. Sometimes I would have demonic visitations where I would feel paralyzed and unable to speak or move or pull my body out of it. I found out that even if the devil could trap my body, he could not trap my spirit and as I called out upon the Name of Jesus in my mind, the demonic would flee and I would be set free and wake up. It only happened the first couple years after I was saved. My faith grew past their attempts for I learned to call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus. He was, is and always will be my Deliverer, strong tower and safe place. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

”…Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way, …” [John 7:38]

The form will regulate the plan but the Presence of God is the power intrinsic to back up the function of your life! What God forms He empowers and it does not make you miserable—you are formed in such a way you will love the way you function! You are formed to function in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Tradition steeped in religion is miserable—does not compute with the words of Jesus Christ--”I’ve told you these things for a purpose: that my joy might be your joy, and your joy wholly mature. “ [John 15: 11 The Message] Now that’s a glorious purpose given through relationship—His power will grow the plan for your life and it will be beautiful thing to behold!

The famous Boston pastor Dr. A.J.Gordon visited the World’s fair in Chicago. In the distance he saw a man robed in bright, gaudy Oriental clothes who appeared to be laboriously turning the crank of a pump and thereby making a mighty flow of water. Gordon was impressed with the man’s energy, his smooth motions, and his obvious physical conditioning. He was pumping a tremendous amount of water. Drawing closer, Gordon was surprised to discover that the man was actually made of wood. Instead of turning the crank and making the water flow, the flow of water was actually turning the crank and thereby making him go.

Thus it is with those who live for God. It isn’t our efforts for him that achieves the results. The flowing river of the Holy Spirit, channeled through our lives and lips, keeps us going and yields infinite results through our ministries.
