The book of Revelation gives us a glimpse into the abundance of prosperity, riches and royalty that surrounds God in heaven. Revelation 21:9-21 records the luxury of the heavenly city.

The city itself is of the finest and most precious of stones and of pure gold. The foundations of the wall of the city are garnished with all manner of precious stones; such as, jasper, sapphire, chalcedony, emerald, sardonyx, sardius, chrysolyte, beryl, topaz, chrysoprase, jacinth, amethyst (verses 19 and 20).

The twelve gates of the city are of one pearl (verse 21). Beloved, the gates were not made of pearls, each gate IS one pearl; and, the streets of the city ARE of pure gold (verse 21). The gold is the purest, finest gold that ever existed and is transparent as glass.

Hear this word of the Lord:
"When Lamech was 182 years old, his son Noah was born. Lamech named his son Noah, for he said, "He will bring us relief from the painful labor of farming this ground that the Lord has cursed." After the birth of Noah, Lamech lived 595 years, and he had other sons and daughters. He died at the age of 777" (Genesis 5:28-31).

"Watch for and discern opportunities that will facilitate divine objectives. Wait for My leading and then do not be afraid to explore the unexplored, or to develop the undeveloped. You are a people on the cutting edge of My plans and purposes, and I will lead you into higher realms of My manifest glory. Prepare yourselves for an adventure," says the Lord.

You were unhappy the way things were. Because of fear rather than talking it over you made a decision that could not be reversed. My way never involves fear. Your way was a stunning jolt. You did not ask Me. You relied on the world’s way and that isn’t My way. I am the One who knows the way to handle problems. My way is speaking the truth in love, not hurling and hiding. That way causes hurt and division. Look to Me. I can retrain you from the way of the world. The way I love you and treat you is the way you are to love and treat others.
Matthew 7:12 “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.”

Feast of Trumpets
If the number '42' indicates the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ consider this:

During this coming Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets September 29/30 at the stroke of midnight is the year change 5768/5769. The year 5768, which is coming to an end, is the fulfillment and completion of the '42nd' YEAR of the current 7x7=49 year cycle of years between Jubilee Years which are always year #1 after a 49 year sequence of years is completed. The current year 5768 is year #42 ends at midnight "in the twinkling of an eye", and the year 5769 is the new year #43 which begins at midnight. The current year 5768/ #42 is a Sabbatical Year in which 'harvesting' is prohibited, but in the New Year 5769/ #43 'harvesting' is allowed!

This coming Rosh Hashanah, at the stroke of midnight in Jerusalem, completes the fulfillment of the '42nd' year of the current 49 year Sabbatical Cycle!

Come Lord Jesus!
From 516 B.C., the date of completion of the Second Temple, there are 2483.85 years to the recapture of the Temple Mount in the miraculous Six-Day War on June 7, 1967.
Flynn also says that the Temple Mount is 666 miles from Mecca's kaaba, considered Islam's most holy place and no doubt a major center of demon and anti-Israel spiritual activity. By the way, some Islamic scholars believe that when their messianic figure, the Mahdi, comes, he will locate the Ark. According to a leading Islamic authority, "The coming of the Mahdi is established doctrine for both Sunni and Shi'a Muslims, and indeed for all humanity." One Islamic source states that the discovery of the ark will help the Mahdi win converts from both Christianity and Judaism prior to "eradicating" the remainder who do not convert to Islam, a part their plan of world conquest. (Good old Islam -- always wanting to "eradicate" people! Nice.)

I am not saying dogmatically that the Ark of the Covenant is at Mount Nebo, but I am certainly more open to it than before. God seems to be bringing these things to light, meaning, according to the prophecy, soon "the glory of the Lord will appear with the cloud…" Who is this coming up out of the wilderness leaning on her beloved? Thess....He is coming in the clouds.....

September 30, 2008. There have been many in high places who have operated by greed, making decisions that benefit only themselves. They had little or no regard for how their decisions would affect others. Scripture says that the love of money is the root of all evil. Right now those selfish decisions are affecting many. Pass up the temptation to judge that will only return to you. Now is the time for prayer. It is more serious than you know. Call out to Me for yourself and the household of faith. Seek Me for wisdom and favor. I have it available. I will never forsake you. The lost need Me, and what you know.

Morning by Morning, Tuesday 9-30-08 -- Our Burden Bearer, Debt Breaker, and Jubilee



Good morning, Lord Jesus. Help me let Your life be expressed through my life today. ...



"Do not be one of those who gives pledges, who become surety for debts. If you have nothing with which to pay, why should your bed be taken from under you?" (Proverbs 22:26-7).



Overwhelming debt seems to be crushing the economy of our nation, crushing the peace and sense of security of all who are touched by it. Some are overwhelmed because they've borrowed beyond their means. Some are overwhelmed because they've enticed others to borrow beyond their means. And some are overwhelmed because everybody around them is overwhelmed. Our economy needs divine correction. Our leaders and our people don't have the answers because apart from You, there are no answers. But we don't have to be apart from You, we don't have to try to fix our overwhelming human mess in our underwhelming human wisdom. We can humble ourselves to seek Your face and Your wisdom. "If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be give to you. But ask in faith ..." (James 1:5-6).



Lord, give us faith as a people and a nation to turn to You and trust in You, desperately depending upon You alone to give us Your wisdom. Let us not try to explain away or cover up our sins of material lust, self-centered indulgence, predatory lending, greed, and rebellion against the wisdom of Your Word and Your ways. Let us admit the sin for the sin that it is and repent before You, personally and as a people of a nation humbling themselves before God (2 Chronicles 7:14).



Though You warn us against becoming ensnared by debt, You also always provide a means of rescue. Under the Old Covenant, You provided a year of jubilee. "Every seventh year you shall grant a remission of debts" (Deuteronomy 15:1). You called Your people to have a heart to give to the needy, but also never to take more than is needed (v. 15:7-11). And every seven of seven years was a year of jubilee, with complete restoration of all that was lost through foolishness, deceit, calamity, or sin (Leviticus 25:8-55). There is wisdom in Your ways. And when we stumble and are ensnared by following the foolishness of our own wisdom and ways, You want us to turn to You alone as our Wisdom, our Rescue Plan, our Deliverer, our Bearer of our burdens. You are the only Bail-out Plan that we will ever need and that will ever work.



The year of jubilee speaks of "the year of the Lord's favor" (Isaiah 61:2). And under Your New Covenant in Christ, our jubilee is fulfilled in You alone (Luke 4:18-19). "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). In this season of shaking, pruning and correction, have mercy upon us as we humble ourselves to turn to You. In You, we will not be overwhelmed or overcome, but we shall overcome. "For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God" (1 John 5:4-5). "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37). You are our Burden Bearer, our Debt Breaker, and our Jubilee. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
