except.. i cannot bring myself to pray for a good election.. i am more an more being convicted that it is all the things of man.. and none of the things of God..

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

if i were to desire "a good election" .. or anything pertaining to *this* world.. it would be at the veryyyy veryyy bottom of my list

i was thinking that God might use this election in His Plan

for example.........the election of 2000...........Bush vs Gore........was a Sign from God

also, the NT tells us to pray for our leaders, govt, the emporer, Ceasar, soldiers, police, etc

i may vote for myself for President, since i'm the only one that i know that ::::::::

stop the entitlements which have destroyed our nation

will defend our property rights

will enforce the immigration laws

will stop spending borrowed money on buying votes

will stop enlarging the National Debt

I often wonder what is going to happen in America...this election is scary to watch. I just have to trust God's perfect plan...even if I do not see...I will trust!

allready GOD selected the right person for your country,dont afraid brothers and sisters.

just read last night in John Piper's book - Desiring God -

he was explaining the soverinty (sp?) of God.. and yes.. even the elections will be used by Him for His Glory.. whether now.. or later..

and yes.. praying for our leaders is a must, if we are to be obeying..

I found myself in prayer.. and sarah palin came to mind.. i asked the Lord that He keep her from sin, and deception, and keep her pure..

I don't know why she came to mind.. i don't think much about her.. so, i trust it was the Spirit using me.
