One needs to understand the purpose behind Paul's teaching in this passage. The Thessalonian believers were troubled by the false teaching that the Day of the Lord had come and was in process. They were troubled because that thought they had missed the gathering of the Body of Christ which they understood to be an event that would precede the Day of the Lord [the tribulation period]. Paul had already revealed the mystery of the Lord's "harpazo" action to immortalize them as recorded in 1Thessalonians 4:13. Paul corrected the false teaching by explaining that the Day of the Lord was not present and then gave them the reasons why. He said that the time frame would include a falling of humans who would worship the coming man of lawlessness [Satan's beast] sent [allowed] by the Lord against those who would refused to believe the truth about Him. This passage fully supports all of the other related scriptures regarding the Lord's coming advent to first immortalize the Body of Christ [both those sleeping and alive at the time], and then to bring His coming judgment against an intransigent unbelieving world. Both events are still pending His intervention. This time will come without warning or signs and the believer living at the time must be "ready" and not found lacking in their faith and focus upon the Lord .... and not refuting His promises and intentions.

The Thessolonians were being comforted by Paul in I Thes 4 as they were concerned about what Jesus would do about the dead in Christ when he returned. I Thes 4 says nothing about the saints being confused about the timing as pretribers claim; they were only confused about the dead in Christ, and what would happen to them in I Thes 4. Their confusion about the Tribulation already arriving and Jesus leaving them behind was presented by the church and corrected by Paul in II Thes 2, not I Thes 4. Paul discribes to them in detail what must occur before Jesus returns. They thought Jesus had come and left them; this confusion was triggered by letter or word, or false prophecy. Paul sets the record straight and tells them Jesus can not come untill all this occurs. This only can mean that he will come after the Great Tribulation, not before the tribulation as pretribers claim. We see clearly that Jesus does not say that at all here through his man Paul.

KJV) 2 Thessalonians - Chapter 2

2Th 2:1 ¶ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him,

The gathering of the dead and living at the end of tribulation as we see in verse 9, or the rapture as some prefer to call it.

2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Do not be confused by a false report, as the day is at hand and has not occured yet as you think, resulting from this false letter, word, or report.

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Do not even let a pretriber or anyone deceieve you, as the day will not occur until the church falls away from sound doctrine, and the antichrist is revealed. The antichrist is revealed in the tribulation time.

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

You will even see him in the beginning of Great tribulation when he sits in the Jewish Temple and claims to be God.

2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

Remember I told you this, before.

2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

The antichrist will be revealed when he is taken out of the midst.

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.

When he is taken out of the midst, when the restrainer is is removed he will be revealed.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

When Jesus returns in power and Glory, he will destroy satan with his epiphany, or brightness, shekinah.

2Th 2:9 [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Jesus will come after Satan does all his evil working.

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

His deception will be with them that perish, because they did not want to receive the love of the truth.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Since they received not the truth, God will send them strong delusion, so they will believe a lie.

2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They had pleasure in unrighteousness and could not believe the truth and shall all be damned for it.

If the rapture happens before the antichrist is revealed then that means Jesus will come back before antichrist is revealed,,,,,there is a big problem with that,,,,and it called 2 thess 2

1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition

Do you now see?????? You have said the exact opposite of what the word tells us,,,,,now you can correct your thinking or hold to the untruth,,,, your choice.....

You say Chirst comes firt,,,the bible says antichrist comes first,,,,,,,and please dont go the route of saying Christ is returning twice,,thats just

Gideon said, To say the wedding takes place before the tribulation is at best a misinterpretation of scripture and at worse heresy.

Imagine the ignorant comment, The Bride is Gone. The Bride of Christ are the Saints Written in the Lambs Book of Life slain from the foundation of the world. Thats right, you are really going to have strong delusion should the antichrist come tomorrow. By the way, the church in not in heaven or Bride as we prefer to call her before the tribulation.

Ok here is the death nail. These goof balls claim the church or bride of Christ is in Heaven before the tribulation. Where do they get this trash from. Once again, this false doctrine came from Darby, Irvine, Scofield, The Plymouth Bretheren, whom btw were all discontented with the early American Church. TheY wanted change. Scofield was financed by the illuminati. He even defrauded his own mother inlaw, spent time in jail for fraud, divorced his wife and abandoned his children, never paid support. This is the garbage this doctrine, pretribulationalism, came from.

The church we see clearly is here in Tribulation, and she endures till the end.

The Marriage of the Lamb

Pretribers appeal to the picture of the marriage feast in Rev 19:6-9 to attempt proving a pretrib rapture. They claim in this vision the church is actually seen in the presence of Christ arrayed for the feast. Furthermore, this requires an earlier rapture before the Great Tribulation, else the church would not be in heaven prepared for the banquet.

Contrary to their great delusional belief, when we look at this passage closely we see something entirely different. When we do examine this with common scence, I might add, we find this is a prophetic hym of what is to transpire in the very near future. It is not an actual portrayal of the event, it is prophetic for what is about to happen as is parts of revelation 11. Practically all theologians agree this is a reference to the union of Christ with his church. It is the day when believers are presented to Christ and the groom is presented to the Church (Eph 5:27). It also represents the restoration of fellowship Jesus enjoyed with his deciples in the days of His flesh (Mark 14:25). Our Lord used the picture of the wedding feast several times to describe the joy of the future, in the Kingdom (Math 22:1-14, 25;1-13, Lk 14:14-24). This is a event pretribers undoubtedly proclaim will take place at a pretrib, secret hidden, nowhere to be seen in the Bible, rapture. They further claim, that at his Revelation he will come with his bride to establish His earthly reign. But they have it completely wrong. The church that has been betrothed to Christ, and has lived in a hostile world in faithfulness and devotion to her beloved, now is about to realize the object of her hooope- Unioin with Christ. This is a hym that prophecies and depicts her expectation, it is not the actual wedding. Even if it were it would not matter as this hym is played in the end of the tribulation, right before Christ returns; we will see that clearly.

The wedding feast time is very specifically indicated. The wedding, the reunion with Christ occurs at the Revelation, or end of the world, when Christ comes with his great epiphany or Glory, outshining. The feast does not actually occur in Revelation 19. THis prophetic hym is not so much a description of the wedding, but; it is a hym of anticipation. John beholds in the vision, what actually takes place in Revelation 20.

This prophetic character is proven by the beginning phrase; Halleljah for the Lord our God reigneth (vs 6). Greek translation speaks of this as being in the ingressive aroist, and the meaning is, The lord our God has begun his reign. THe anouncement is proleptic or an anticipation of answering any objection before hand. The reign only begin, though it is announce with the wedding announcement, only after CHrist appears on the white horse, clad in blood stained white garment, and ready to go to battle at Armageddon. Only after the destruction of the Beast, the False prophet, and the armies, and satan does the anouncement become fulfilled, and the reign of Christ begins.

This prophetic hym sings a song as it is about to occur as parts of revelation 11 does also. In 11:15 we see the same proclamation also, as it is about to occur. Here we see the same picture, the saints, the wicked, Christ reigning and the power of his resurrection in the two prophets. As with the proclamation of the millenial kingdom before the 7 bowls are out poured, because the judgment is very near.

So it is with Revelation 19. This a proclamation of what is about to occur. The earth stands at the very threshold of the event. Babylon has been destroyed; civil unrest is everywhere, though they were partying and marrying, sudden destruction comes upon them and they shall not escape. Economic chaos is everywhere. The KIng is about to reign and take over for 1000 years.

The marriage of the lamb is associated in the prophetic hym with the beginning of the kingdom and the coming of the conquering Christ. It has not yet occured, even up to this point; yet pretribers say Jesus will fly them away, secretly to marry them, before the tribulation. This falacy is not in scripture, anywhere. The actual union of the bride and groom is not even pictured anywhere, beside, possibly in the Song of Solomon. All we see is an anouncement of the feast in Revelation 19. As the hym proclaims the future the future beginning of the kingdom, it proclaims also the future marriage feast, collectively; but both are in the immediate future and both happen after Christ returns the only second time, at the end of the world.

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Take note, the wedding has not taken place yet, for only the blessed will be called there. This is indicative that it has not occured but will with the reign of CHrist and the beginning of the kingdom. These events have not occured but are about to unfold. That is very clear in these verses. So the wedding takes place at the end contrary to what Benny said.

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Rev 19:11 ¶ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Rev 19:12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

Rev 19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Rev 19:14 And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Pretribers must be upset, as they can see no truth with regards to a post trib fact. Such will most likely be here when the TRIBULATION STRIKES; for sure jesus will not fly them away..THese shall be decieved, even more so by the Devil when he comes. They think they are dooped now, they aint seen nothing yet. How much clearer do these need it. There is not two second comings in II Thes 2. For such God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. They shall be damned for receiving not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. God shall send them strong delusion because they are of the night and not of the day. They can not see as we do, they can not be vigilant and sober. They will not, the darkness shall overtake them as a thief as will the coming of Christ. They put on Christianity like a clown puts on an outfit.

The Lord uses a parable to describe the separation of the professing church when the fullness of the Gentiles is added. This parable is recorded in Matthew 25:1-12. There will be those that are ready for His sudden call for them and those who will not. This is the Lord's “harpazo” action to immortalize the true believer living at the time along with those who are asleep in the Lord. The view is of those who will be immortalized and those who will not. Those of the living who are not ready will be shut out of this gathering. His call will come at a time that will not be expected and no warning or signs will be given. This is a different event than His appearance at the end of His coming judgment of the tribulation period. Those living during His judgment period on the earth will have no question that the Day of His wrath is upon them. Most will not repent and turn during the period as Revelation tells.

This parable in Matthew 25, describing the kingdom of heaven, is in contrast with the Lord’s discourse in Matthew 24 where the focus is upon national Israel and the nations at the time of the end …. not today’s Body of Christ. The present kingdom of heaven is comprised of all believers of both the dead and living. Those of the living are in the world, but not of it. It is an invisible kingdom of believers who will be manifested and immortalized by the Lord’s call and His related “harpazo” action just before His coming judgment of the earth. There will be those who will turn and repent during His hour of trial and these will be principally a remnant part of national Israel. Most humans during the period will fall away and will follow the trail of Satan’s beast.

Dang I hate long post ,,,,,,,but whatever lets see if this Matthew 25 is about a rapture,,,cause I dont think it is.........

Matthew 25:1 "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and sent forth to meet the bridegroom."

Many today teach that once you say the magic words, you automatically become saved, once and for all times. The can't imagine themselves being shut away from the wedding feast, after they have been saved. Know this, on the road to salvation, without repentance, and without studying God's Word, there are many pitfalls. It will be the last day of the Millennium age, before some that think that they are saved now, will earn it, or they will walk into the lake of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus is now comparing the "kingdom of heaven" to a wedding that is taking place. The Kingdom is made up of the king [Jesus Christ] and His domain. The domain is made up of everything in the area of rulership of the king; the people, the land and all things on and in the land.

The bridegroom is Christ, and all ten of the virgin maidens are Christians and are going forth to meet the Bridegroom. Ten in Biblical numerics represents "law, and responsibility". The law is still on the books for us, and we have the responsibility to serve the true Christ. Though the parts of the law that pertain to the blood sacrifices are ended with Christ shed blood on the cross, the rest of the law is a vital part of every society, no matter how primitive.

The subject here then is to remain a true virgin, spiritually, waiting on the true Christ, and not to be take by the wrong Christ. All ten of these virgins are Christians, and claim to be in this generation, for the time of being taken is at the arrival of Satan being cast to the earth, as the Antichrist.

Matthew 25:2 "And five of them were wise, and five were foolish."

The wise studied God's Word, and knew the signs of the end times, and who the Kenites were. However the foolish were the virgins that listened to the fairy tales of the fly away doctrines, and just couldn't wait until the could go whoring after the Antichrist. The foolish ones just do not care to study to know the truth and seal it away in their minds.

This is the eleventh hour, which means these five foolish were Christians all the way to the very end of the age, before the coming of the Antichrist. It will be documented later. This is Jesus Christ's final teaching, from the mount of Olives, and is part of the teaching of chapter twenty four.

Matthew 25:3 "They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:"

They had oil, but not an reservoir of oil. The lamp will not burn to long with out the reservoir.

It is important that you understand the menorah described in Zechariah 4, that has to do with the two witnesses, and the seven candlesticks. The seven candlesticks represent God's elect, the seven thousand, and all the ethnos that are with them. At the base of the menorah, or lamp stands, there was a huge reservoir of oil. That oil was olive oil, the oil of our people. This is the same oil that we are instructed to use when anointing in Jesus name.

Keep tis in mind, as long as your in the flesh, Christ has not returned. If someone says that Jesus has returned today, and your in the flesh, they are liars. When Jesus comes, and touches His feet on mount Zion, the mountain will split with a quake, and the sun and moon will vanish. If those heavenly bodies are there, Christ has not returned. If you pinch yourself, and it still hurts, then that is not Christ. If it takes that simple act to understand, then do it.

The oil in the lamps are the knowledge in your mind that seals your mind that you will not be taken by the wrong husband, the Antichrist, Satan. The oil is the entire world of God, enough to keep your lamp lit through the entire tribulation of deception of the Antichrist. All of the knowledge from God's word, of the signs of the times, and the details of His coming is the oil that you need for your lamp. But don't be foolish, and deceived; wait for the true bridegroom.

Matthew 25:4 "But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps."

The wise had the reservoir, other then the lamps. They had all the oil necessary to for the entire waiting period, right through the Antichrist rule, and up to the sounding of the seventh trumpet. They had the truth, and knew the signs of the times. They could identify Satan, and his locust army of fallen angels, and they were aware of the supernatural powers that God gave them, to deceive all those that did not have the oil. The were not deceived by the miracles that Satan, and his angelic forces preformed in the sight of men.

The oil that we are to take that is stated here; in the Greek is # 1637 in Strong's Dictionary. It is "elaion", which comes from the prime # 1636, "elaia, el-ah'-yah", "el" is God, and "ah" is God, and "yah" is God, Three forms of the God head. This is the olive tree that the olive oil comes from. The wisdom of God, the oil, comes from the olive tree. and we get that oil from His word.

The oil of God is the truth in God's word, from beginning to end. It covers all three ages, and is controlled in every aspect in the perfect plan of God, by the offices of God.

Matthew 25:5 "While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept."

As the delay went along, they slept, and became slack in their studying and understand of God's Word. The just forgot to take on some of that oil of truth.

Matthew 25:6 "And at midnight there was a cry made, 'Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye out and meet him.' "

At the end of the eleventh hour, right at the end of this earth age, and the Christians, all ten of them, are anxious to see the bride groom. You have heard the expression, "once saved, always saved", well that doesn't mean that you are going to take part in the marriage. If you are betting you soul on that then you are in trouble. You have to be founded in the word of God, in this final generation, or your only hope will be after you earned it at the end of the Millennium age. It is important that you study, and listen to God, rather then listening to man.

This is the end of the age, and that is what the subject is in Matthew 24, and so far in 25.

Matthew 25:7 "Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps."

That means that you trim the wick, where the flame burns the brightest, without soot. That is where you put out the most light possible.

Matthew 25:8 "And the foolish said unto the wise, 'Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.' "

What it means is that the foolish virgins [Christians] simply do not know the way to go, for they have run out of truth. They listened to the traditions of men, and not that teaching has left them confused between God's teachings and man's teaching. The oil is the truth of the Word of God, which includes all the signs of the times, and being able to distinguish between the two Christ, the two comings, and the two trumpets [the fifth and the seventh].

Matthew 25:9 "But the wise answered, saying, 'Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.' "

There is only one true light, friend, and if you wait until the last moment, the only oil that will be available will be the oil of strange fire. These five foolish virgins, or Christians must then go and buy strange fire, or the doctrines of men, then when you do, they will find yourself heading into the wrong light, when the Antichrist arrives on earth. This is speaking in a spiritual sense.

Matthew 25:10 "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut."

At midnight the door was shut, it was midnight, and you were either in or out, there was no changing of mind, for at that moment those that knew the truth, and had the oil absolutely could not be fooled, and all others that had not the truth, could not get it. There was a complete blackout for the truth, or oil, and the only oil on the market was for "strange fire" that led you to the Antichrist.

Friend, if you are banking on waiting to the end to make things right, you are in trouble. When the Antichrist comes to earth, with his locust army of fallen angels, God is going to turn those that have not the truth over to Satan, the Antichrist, and only those seal with the oil of truth in their minds are to be protected. Revelation 9:4; "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only the those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads."

The seal is the oil, the truth of God, and the the lamps are where the oil is kept, and that is in your mind, which is in your forehead. The foolish virgins are lacking the knowledge of the truth of God to know the difference between the two Christ, Jesus Christ and the Antichrist, and before they have the time to obtain the truth, it will be to late. The door is shut by the Almighty God Himself, and it is He that will cause you to go whoring after the wrong husband.

It better be clear, for the time is getting close. The eleventh hour started in May 15, 1948, and Jesus told us in Matthew 24:33, 34; "So likewise ye when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door." [33] "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." That generation that saw the planting of the fig tree, which is the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel in Palestine, is forty eight years are becoming senior citizens today.

You can take on the true oil now, however at the instant of the sounding of the fifth trumpet, and Satan the Antichrist and his fallen angels are cast out of heaven, it is to late, the door is slammed shut.

There is a war in heaven going on right now, and at the appointed time, as Jesus told us in Revelation 12:7-9, "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, " [7] "And prevailed not, neither was there place found any more in heaven." [8] "And The great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth , and his angels were cast out with him." [9]

When Satan arrives in person, the door is shut, and the whole world except those sealed with the oil of God, the Word of God, and know the truth, are given over to Satan, and his hoards of locust army [fallen angels] and the Kenites. Then it is to late. There is just to much listening to "one verse preachers".

Matthew 25:11 "Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, 'lord, lord, open to us."

These five virgins [Christians] ran to town and bought some strange fire, or false teaching. They went back to the same old place that told them in the first place that they were going to fly away in the rapture, and tried to pick up some more of that strange fire.

Friend, even Martin Luther didn't teach of the Rapture, because it originated in the mind of a mentally sick woman in Scotland, Margaret McDonald, in 1830 A.D. What do you think that Christ thought of those that chased after that bad oil, to fan their strange fire?

Matthew 25:12 "But he answered and said, 'Verily I say unto you, I know you not.' "

When the door shuts it is final, there is no more grace offered to those who have not prepared for the entire wait. We are told to wait with patience, to know the times, and the seasons, and Jesus is telling us in a very simple way, to take up the oil, and fill our lamps while there is time.

Matthew 25:13 "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

Do you know the hour? If you are a watchman, you do. Many are called but only a few will be chosen. That time for the watchman to pay attention is here and now. Do you know what hour you are watching for?

That hour is the hour that consummates the end of this age, it is the hour of temptation, which is the time that the New World order has prepared the world to rejoice in their savior, the Antichrist. It is that five month period spoken of in Revelation 9:5, 10. Have you heard of the New World Order lately? Then wake up.

It is up to you to make the choices, for nobody is going to force you to wait on the true Christ, and load your lamps with the true oil [God's truth]. God gave you the free will to chose whom you will, and when the door shuts, there will be some rejoicing, but there will be far more that will be weeping and gnashing their teeth.

Nope....No rapture here
