My sister Carelle and her fiance are having to stay the storm. They never made a mandatory evacuation for that city because they wanted the oil rigs manned. (according to city officials) it is all about money.

My sister lives in a glass house (mostly) a block from the beach. They have one room that is surrounded by brick so she and Dane will hunker in there with thier 8 animals and wait it out.

I am so worried for her especially because she has lupus. Any kind of stress for her is bad. She is not strong enough to handle great stress. I begged Dane to get her out of there, but there is a legal issue that makes them stay as well.....

Please pray for thier safety.

On top of all of this..... Danes sister who lives in Colorado is in hospice care living out the last days of her life after suffering with cancer for over a year. The family has seen great hardship.

Miche, have you heard from them? I did pray for them, and hope they are ok. My sister and brother are in Texas also, but they
are up in East Texas, in Tyler. If you haven't I hope you hear something soon.

I did not hear directly from my sister, but she was able to get through to our mother. They are fine. Praise the Lord.

I tried calling them all day yesterday, but the phone lines were so jammed, I could not get through.
