As I watched Mcain tonight talking on CNN I was so taken in by the fact of his dutiful service in the military during the Vietnam war...he went in depth on his story of being a prisonor of war and the trials of that. It made my love the guy frankly...but I am not the one to vote for him as I am not in country...But this man has what it takes ....after the traditions of former presidents...he is a strong orator...I posted that I think Obama will win by rote ...no longer do I say that...

I normally would keep this kind of thing to myself, not saying to much if it might being other to treat me diffrent because of it. Well, I make a stand now, and dont care. This man is very honoring in his service to our country, and his pick for VP! wow! His wife, wow! What women to look at, to see what love is like and family, and service to our country.

Abba, thanks for showing this to us! We need more like these in our country and our lives. You must love us very much, even when we as a country have been nasty to you! In Jesus name, amen!

Hugs!

I believe the staus quo is going to be maintained...Obama trumpets change...so does Mccain...but Mccain will go straight and level. He will not reroute policy to the detriment of world opinion.

Larry,

Good post. Yes, I think McCain and Palin will make a winning team. That is where my vote is going.

Gods Blessings,

Larry..when you compare what he is and what he stands for...

When you listen to the speech and then compare it to Obama's deception...
His X Pastor and their disdain for our country..

l can only shake my head saying my my...

I was saying to Todd. "I feel like God's held him in the palm of his hand.."
I know...all of us...but all of us aren't public figures...

And l'll say this...Even if he doesn't win he got the honor due him last night.

The majority under 50 can't identify with patriotism...it was lost after VietNam by many of us..

I marched through the streets of Seattle during the Cambodian Crisis..handing daisies to the police...
but we just didn't understand a thing. Education helps.

I got the truth of what this country was meant to be by watching Christian television...What they didn't teach me in school. Thank you Pat Robertson...I learned that the roots and foundation of this country were built on Godly principles...Christian principles..

If you haven't lived the era it's hard to believe and realize what this means...and that people are willing to die and be imprisoned and tortured for the idea of freedom...freedom in Christ...freedom in Christ...freedom in Christ...

Bravo McCain...bravo...

He gave the testimony of Jacob didn't he...how he was changed and he has the limp to prove it.
Even his name bares witness to it..

Pray for McCain..I think he is still wrestling with God..I pray God give him the fullness of understanding and that our nation will receive the inspiration to fight on!...and not believe the lies of the enemy..

IN JESUS NAME... THE GOD IN WHOM WE TRUST!!

Off colour in colour. Like it nonetheless. In office they will be called to these roles.

I wrest with the personal need I have to be votive to the dynamics of US polittics. Being from another nation. Albeit a neighbour. For we are joined at the hip..Canada and USA. But for certain reflections of past glory, (war of 1812) I would be one of you. And I would have been in that war he was called to enjoin. I feel like I know him. I was never a prisnor of war. But I could have been. I was wandering around the middle east when he was in chains. Freinds of mine were shot down in the Suez and killed in those days. I could have been one of those. I believe, contrary to popular opinion, that the USA has a yet unfulfilled destiny. I believe the tradition of the lineage of presidential incumbents with a military background will be prolonged. Virtue of lifestyles will be the line of demarcation that reveres. Mccain has that integrity of the past that Obama can only look upon winsomely. Mccain has the heart of the generations of America that had to stand like Bufford Pusser. "Walking Tall" and carrying a big stick. Todays under 50 inverts who "Knew not Pharoah" (to twist a phrase) think that they have no need of deliverance from bondage. Ideological terrorism has been to the door but has not suffered the death of an Egyptian. They need no Moses in this hour. As they claim. But troublesome times are upon us. And the maturity of a man who "knows the military" will be a budding rod that can still deliver by swallowing the serpents of Pharoah. There have been finest hours in the past. I believe there will be yet another. Until then the final destiny of the USA is under the hand of God. For He has adulterous children.

As I read this line I heard the words, "Companions in tribulation."

I can't wait to watch McCain and Palin mop up the floor with Obama and Biden.

If Obama dishonors McCain, he is dishonoring himself. McCain is a war hero, experienced beyond most politicians, he is Obama's elder in every way, he has foreign policy experience, he is solid is his agenda, he is proven in his voting record to be trustworthy to stick to his words (whether we agree with his actions or not), he is a likeable, respectable, good natured (he comes across that way) man whome (I believe) people would want to lead America during wartime.

If Obama attacks Palin too hard, he is assaulting the possible first female VP and possible President. Sarah actually has proven her ability to make reform and accomplish goals. She has proof of her various positions based on her history.

The debates will underline (or undermine?) Obama's lack of esperience in foriegn policy, his flip flopping positions about Iraq, Israel/Pailistine, Jerusalem, Iran, the war on terror, taxes, etc, etc.

It will be a larger victory for McCain than many forcasted, I think. He seems to be oving in the favor of God.

Good post and critical analysis...as I read this I heard the words, "juvenile delinquent" in my spirit. That may be the spiritual element of Obama. Teens talk big and appear smart but they are far from it. Obama is a spiritual teenager...if he were mature he would have fled that church ages ago...in favour of a true destiny and not a mirage...

Larry l'm reminded of this old post about Apollo 13.

You know...Crisis...chastisement brings people to their knees. Even though this is coming for America and well deserved l still believe as you have said..

Larry l think of the good old days...I'm reminded that God chastises those he loves. I'm reminded that the chastisement might and does look something like thus:

God hasn't forgotten the good things from the heart of men he called but have lost focus.

Just like old George Bailey who wanted to see the world...

I was watching Apollo 13 again...They were predicting disaster

We fall down we get...we fall down we get up..
Because he reveals his hand of mercy...even in our darkest hour.

A lot of this stuff reminds me of the numbers around 9/11.

but hearts will be different and that's what matters and what God wants.

I just couldn't help but wonder at the reality when they realized they weren't going to the moon..
they called it a successful failure.

and l wonder what it will be like for those who realize they missed the rapture.

Well..they get to work and the world prays...

This is what l see for America...The return,in humble thanksgiving..
Maybe not all but many...

I think the Christians are standing for the right and it will prevail. Otherwise faith is vain.
