Please keep us in your prayers. The last Saturday of September, we will be launching a Street Light Ministry, within our city. This is a great opportunity to reach out to a lost and dying world, with the BLESSED HOPE of JESUS. Please pray that eyes are opened, ears receive the message and hearts are softened, to accept JESUS as PERSONAL SAVIOR.

Street Light Ministry, is basically bringing the message of JESUS CHRIST into the streets. There will be testimonies given, singing and preaching. We may be feeding people, or offering clothing and other necessities, along with the message that JESUS SAVES.


We have done this type of ministry in the past with great success.

I will be praying about your need to minister to the Hindus. The LORD says for us to GO and PREACH the GOOD WORD. Dear Brother Chinnam Naidu, thank you for your invitaion to come to India. If the LORD provides the opportunity for me, I will go, but I must have a WORD from HIM. There isn't a book that I can send you, that you don't already have. I use the BIBLE for our Street Light Ministry. A Street Light Ministry, is simply taking the tools that you already have, such as your BIBLE, and what you know as your own testimony, and go out and reach others. I was able to find a website to help with Outreach Ministries, in India. You will have to click on Countries (All) , which is in the left hand coloumn, and then on India and then the province you live closest to. The topic is the fourth one down in the left hand column. It looks to be a good website to help you, but please pray about what the site offers. I haven't had time to really investigate the materials there.

I think that a crucial part of evangelism is laying the ground work of binding the strongman over your area that you live, which is there blinding people's minds in your area to the Gospel.

America has strongmen, India has strongmen, and they are different in what they're doing, but they are also the same because their goal is to lie to people and keep them from seeing God and coming to Him and repent of their sins. They may be different sorts of lies, but they are lies nonetheless.

Make sure you pray, pray, pray. Make sure you have intercessors covering you. Do the ground work and find out what strongman you are fighting. Seek God's face about strategy and cover yourselves in prayer and with the blood of Jesus. And then pray some more. Pray until the grip of the strongman is broken. Repent of the sins that have allowed it to remain as strong as it has, for as long as it has. You are priests of God and you can bring the blood of Jesus into prayer with you and repent on people's behalf, and have His blood cleanse those sins and break the power of the enemy that originally gave him the right to be there. And then pray some more after that. Pray until the power of God falls and then move out in that power and blow the enemy's work to bits, and reap God's harvest. So don't be nice when you pray, or timid, but be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Don't get me wrong, I know you guys are praying, so I'm just giving you some extra "dynamite" to throw into the mix to make sure you are successful and strong and bold and protected. Because you cannot argue someone into the Kingdom; it has to be the Holy Spirit's work, or nothing.

And when you go out, take people with you that know how to pray and intercede, so while you are talking to a person, somebody else is covering that conversation in prayer. Because not only are they affected by spirits over the area, but they are being hindered by demons in their personal lives as well. Make sure your bases are covered, and cover one another, because the enemy isn't going to just stand there and watch souls being snatched away, without trying to hinder and attack you and your families, to discourage you and to divide you and fizzle things out before they can gain momentum. Cover one another, and make unity your first priority amongst yourselves, no matter what.

And when you go out, then know that you and Jesus are a majority and that you have the God of the universe, maker of heaven and earth, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, going with you and fighting for you and with you and through you for those souls that He loves and died for.

Thank you Looking Up. We have been preparing for this Street Light Ministry for a while, so I know that the groundwork is laid. I have also posted this prayer request on several different Christian forums, and have had a great response of those who are interceding for us and for this Street Light Ministry, tomorrow night. Please join in praying that hearts are prepared, and yes, for our protection too. Please pray that the LORD give us the right words to say, and that what we do say, is HIM speaking through us. We want to share HIS GOSPEL, and no other gospel. The LORD has prepared the WAY, we just need to be willing to GO.

We are ready to load up equipment, food, beverages, and ministry tools, as soon as my hubby gets off work. We should start setting up the Street Light Ministry with chairs, and sound equipment, etc., around 5:30 pm our time, and start at 6:30 pm. I have received a great confirmation on something I shared concerning the LORD'S WORD. The LORD is soooo very GOOD! AMEN. I am praying for many to receive JESUS as their PERSONAL SAVIOR! PRAISE THE LORD! We are getting our shouting and praising in early, as we are believing the LORD will move many hearts tonight.

Thank you Brother Chinnam Naidu, for your thoughts and prayers. Here is our update:

Well as we all know, anytime, you are doing something for the LORD you know that the enemy wiill try to destroy the GOOD THING you are doing for the LORD. We had some minor trouble with the sound equipment, and after about 2 hours of trying to get the thing working, the Pastor decided to close the meeting. Once the final prayer was said, the equipment started working! The singers, were able to sing a couple of songs, as we began to pack up chairs, food and other items. We were able to minister to a few people, before and during this time of fellowship, and we plan on doing this again! Many of the church members, had never participated in an outside ministry event like this, and even the choir members want to participate in future events! All in all, the event was sucessful, even with the enemy attacking our sound equipment.


We ask for prayer for my BIL, Tom, as he had a seizure the following morning and was taken to the hospital. He is at home now and recooperating.
