Background:
I dreamed this dream Sunday morning Aug 31, 2008. I built a 10x10 foot shed at the side of my house back in June of 2008. It’s August/September and I haven’t yet painted it. It has a nice new roof. Two vents to vent hot air. Nice doors that can lock. No windows though.
The Dream:
I headed out the door to walk to my neighbor’s house. I walked in front of the shed and over to that house. On the way back it was obvious that something huge had happened – like a hurricane dropping mostly water because in front of the shed was a huge water filled hole. I waded thru it to get back to my house. It was deep in parts. I walked around the back of the shed. I had a few thoughts one of them was – wow with no paint on the shed it held up well. But, I just simply didn’t understand how so much water arrived. It was sort of a swimming hole in front of the shed. I walked into my house, then … back over again to the neighbor’s house.
This 2nd time - coming back to my house - the shed was completely washed away. Obliterated. All the water was gone too. I don’t know how all the water was gone. I did feel as I walked and was seeing this that a hurricane caused it. There washed up - in place of the shed - a huge platform – like the decking of a floor, like a wood deck floor. Only the floor was there, no walls, no roof. It was about 4 times as big as the shed – like 40x40. I didn’t measure – it was just much bigger. I got over to my house’s side of the platform and I looked underneath the deck-floor to see its foundation (cuz I knew that there had been a huge hole there). It was like the deck-floor was on stilts with a bit of cement around the base of the stilts. It looked very shaky to me. I thought “Man! It’s gonna take all of the cement in a cement truck to shore up this foundation. It’s just too dangerous to walk on.” It looked "rickety" under there. I called to my boys that they need to get their father. I told my husband that we need to call the insurance company. My husband’s reply was that he was gonna go swimming.
