Today on trunews.com read the headliner "Experiment to unlock secrets of Big Bang could cause end of the world, say scientists in court bid to halt it" I have been watching the articles about this experiment for the last month and have found it very interesting that they scheduled its start up on sept 10 the day before sept 11! American has been the main supporter of this project.

Hi....
This is the company behind this.
Nobody knows what is really going to happen for sure when they start it up. It takes some months before it is running full force.
It goes in stages through start up.

I am going to post the article you mentioned. This is the first time I have heard about this.
====================================================
Experiment to unlock secrets of Big Bang could cause end of the world, say scientists in court bid to halt it
It has cost £4.4billion and is designed to unlock the secrets of the Big Bang.
But rather than providing vital information about the beginning of life, the world's biggest experiment could cause the end of the world, say scientists.
They fear that the Large Hadron Collider - due to be switched on in nine days' time - will create a black hole that could swallow the planet.
By smashing sub-atomic particles together at close to the speed of light, the LHC aims to recreate the conditions that existed a fraction of a second after the birth of the universe or Big Bang, shedding light on the building blocks of life.
But critics claim that the 'time machine', which has been built 300ft beneath the French-Swiss border near Geneva, could instead spawn a shower of mini-black holes.
The Large Hadron Collider smashes particles together at nearly the speed of light
Within four years, one of these 'celestial vacuums' could have swollen to such a size that it is capable of sucking the Earth inside-out, said Otto Rossler, one of a group of scientists mounting a last-minute court challenge to the project.
They claim the experiment violates the right to life under the European Convention of Human Rights. However, the case at the European Court of Human Rights is not expected to delay the switch on, scheduled for Wednesday of next week.
Professor Rossler, a German chemist, said the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, or CERN, has admitted its project will create black holes but doesn't consider them to be a risk.
Critics say the LHC could create a black hole which expands until it swallows the Earth
He warned: 'My own calculations have shown it is quite plausible that these little black holes survive and will grow exponentially and eat the planet from the inside. I have been calling for CERN to hold a safety conference to prove my conclusions wrong but they have not been willing.'
Those involved in the project have dismissed the claims as 'absurd' and insist that extensive safety assessments have found the experiment, which is funded by 20 countries, including the UK, to be safe.
A report written earlier this year stated: 'Over the past billions of years, nature has already generated on Earth as many collisions as about a million LHC experiments - and the planet still exists.'
The lifespan of any mini-black holes would be 'very short', it added.
CERN spokesman James Gillies said the arguments before the European Court of Human Rights had been answered in 'extensive safety assessments'.
He told the Sunday Telegraph: 'The Large Hadron Collider will not be producing anything that does not happen routinely in nature due to cosmic rays. If they were dangerous we would know about it already.'
Scientists have used large particle colliders to smash atoms and pieces of atoms together for 30 years, but this machine has attracted so much attention because it is the most powerful ever built.
In the LHC beams of protons will be propelled through an 18-mile-long circular tunnel. More than 5,000 magnets lining the tunnel will accelerate the hundreds of billions of tiny particles to almost the speed of light, allowing them to complete one circuit in one-11,000th of a second.
There will be two beams going in opposite directions, each packing as much energy as a car travelling at 100mph.
When they reach almost the speed of light, they will be smashed head on into each other, breaking them into their constituent parts, including, perhaps, the building blocks of the universe.

I heard there is another collider located (somewhere?) in Illinois. Although LHC will be larger and more powerful than the one in Illinois, it will take the LHC (roughly a decade?) to reach peak performance and in the meantime, the one in Illinois will be producing greater results...(that is until LHC reaches peak performance).

Reminds me of that song that i love singing and tend to get the chords so i can play it on guitar its the end of the world as we know it
its in gods hands not the scientists hands
they can experiment as much as they want i have been watching a doc on national geographical channel on evil
science of evil
these scientists picked out 9 normal guys and then picked another 9 guys they turned one section of a lab into prison and ran some experiments to see what causes a human being to become an evil person they showed clips of what happend in rewanda and in africa and kept on comming back to the experiment the guys who were chossen to be gaurds were given sun glasses so the other 9 guys could not see their eyes they were told to do as they pleased to the other 9 guys the experiment only lasted a week it should have lasted 2 weeks the gaurds began to deprave the 9 guys of their rights and they began to tell them what to do they ended up braking these 9 guys spirits
the guys who were chossen to be prison gaurds changed with in a week and so did the other guys who were the prisoners their names were taken of them and they were given a number
i found it very intresting as it showed me what a human being is capable off these were good boys these boys had not been in trouble with the law did not drink or take drugs honor students very smart and very bright they all respected their parents
why people like to experiment and tamper with things they should not be tampering with is mind boggling
when god created what we see he new what he was doing

Is this what the fuss is all about?

First off, I am excited to see the results. As a Christian we should know better than this "ending the world" as we have read the Bible and know how everything is going to work out.
Second, I do agree this is a attempt to mock/paly God, however the results from this experiement will I believe prove even more so that there is a God, for the Atheist.

To reply to my own post...
I am wondering if this thing is as powerful as they are saying it is to create black holes...or an abyss?
I am very curious if this thing can create an interdimensional rift, or a portal to another dimension...a bottomless pit?

Shiva is know as the destroyer; The supreme Hindu god.Destroyer versus benefactor In the Yajurveda two contrary sets of attributes for both malignant or terrific (Sanskrit: rudra) and benign or auspicious (Sanskrit: śiva) forms can be found, leading Chakravarti to conclude that "all the basic elements which created the complex Rudra-Śiva sect of later ages are to be found here."[119] In the Mahabharata, Shiva is depicted as "the standard of invincibility, might, and terror", as well as a figure of honor, delight, and brilliance.[120] The duality of Shiva's fearful and auspicious attributes appears in contrasted names. That reminds me of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Sharma translates the three as "One who captivates", "One who consolidates", and "One who destroys."[124] Kramrisch translates it as "The Ravisher".[125] Another of Shiva's fearsome forms is as Kāla , "Time", and as Mahākāla , "Great Time", which ultimately destroys all things.[126][127][128] Bhairava, "Terrible" or "Frightful"[129] is a fierce form associated with annihilation.[130]

The end of the world as we know it is a totally funny song, lol. Actually, listening to that rap made me want to do one. I did one for a political party awhile ago. It was Dope! (meaning cool, lol)
That would suck to have someone put drugs in your travel bag. I hear they execute people for that in some parts of the world. I'll make sure my luggage is locked up tight!

All good points, especially what WhirlWind said about the Tower of Babel from Hell. I agree that God is in control and the end will come when, AND ONLY WHEN, HE says so. That said, I do believe that it could possibly tamper with the world's axis and gravitional system. Remember, the Bible says that just before the return of our Lord, the world would be "rocked" or "shaken" off of it's original axis, affecting seasonal routines. This has already happened once during the December quake/tsunami of "06, however, it was only slight....enough to affect our seasons nonetheless. Maybe this will be the event that truly causes the sudden North-to-South axis shift. Time will tell I guess.

Interesting to note that Shiva has been depicted many times as a hermaphrodite. Are you saying that as the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he/she, Shiva/Satan, "
captivated" in order to "
destroy" the bloodline of the two in the garden? If you are....Wow, what a connection you are making. In his/her form of "
a figure of honor, delight, and brilliance" as Satan certainly
appears to be we can see how he/she seduced, or "
ravished" them...both of them! A very interesting observation Annie!

No, we're both supposed to be here doing just what we are doing:
Psalms 144:1 Blessed be the Lord my strength, Which teacheth my hands to war, And my fingers to fight:
Proverbs 6:12-13 A naughty person, a wicked man, Walketh with a froward mouth. He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, He teacheth with his fingers;
Interestingly the number of the chapter and verse tell us a great deal too. The wicked man is written of in 6:12 = 666 while the man of the Lord is written of in 144:1 (4 & 1) being numbers of the elect.

A black hole does create intense heat.
It can take many years to actually be large enough to do damage.
But in the meantime can cause earthquakes and other planetary distress.
Also the date, 7 years after 9/11 almost to the day...could be significant.
But I know there are at least 7 years until the end of the world...but I wonder WHY are they doing this?
There has got to be a more compelling reason than "just to learn new things..."
Many shakings are indeed coming...

"It's too early to say precisely what happened, but it seems to be a faulty electrical connection between two magnets that stopped superconducting, melted and led to a mechanical failure and let the helium out," Gillies told The Associated Press.
Man, I hate it when that happens, especially when I'm on my way to work!
Anyway, as far as I know, they have yet to smash any protons together. They've just been spinning them around and around the circle at about the speed-of-light.
So we continue to wait, I suppose.
