The Movie: "Castaway"

You may have seen the Tom Hanks film 'Castaway' where he played a FedEx employee

stranded for 5 years on a remote island and struggled to hold on to his sanity....

There was a FedEx box that survived the plane crash and which Hanks was compelled

to deliver, and he did. Ever wonder what was inside that box ?

Speaking of the movie.....the scene where he comes to her home and he finds out she still loves him...but they both know they can't go back in time because she has gotten married.

It brings tears to my eyes every time. Love is bittersweet sometimes.

reading your post, I could only... *sigh* .. and yes, I meant that literally.. *just sigh* .. and of course, say a prayer, that you will find
peace, strength, faith, and hope in communion with our Lord..

You know, God used the movie, "Cast Away", to encourage me in a very great and specific way back on November 3, 2007. I wrote a description of how that came about, but it's on my laptop computer (I hope), and my laptop computer refuses to work. In the midst of a very dark time, God showed that He was still aware of what was going on in my life, and cared, and confirmed a promise He had made years before, even though He didn't deliver me from that dark time then (or yet, actually). A promise is a promise, however.

If I had a dollar for every bad judgment call I've ever made....

Likewise today the Lord woke me up really early to read Psalm34.
It was a promise made many years ago, I think about 20 actuallly,
and now it is coming around again...I believe NOW is the time
of New Beginnings. For many it will be a heartfelt turn back to
Jesus, for others a deep repentance for all the breaches caused
by of lack of faith and doubt, for yet others the calling forth for
such a time as this.

This was a big time tear jerking movie
and God ministered to out of that one...

That we never know what the next day will
bring so love, laugh, live.

Sounds easy but it is not so easy...
He gathers our tears in His bottle

break the old wine skeins, to become
new ones.

I have had a year of heartache, yet in
the very midst of this stirrs the Christ Heart
within and moves to pray for others.

Hi everyone! I am much better now...I really want you to know how much I appreciate your prayers ! You see, I had a desperate need when I posted this. I am now posting a PRAISE REPORT! The circumstances that led me to despair over the last week have been terrible. HOWEVER... the Lord has heard and answered my prayers, and yours... THE POWER OF PRAYER IS UNLIMITED! God has shown me He is able to do above and beyond all I could ask for. He has also shown me yet again to come to Him, and depend on Him. He is faithful!

Hey sister....I'm here on campus and decided to drop in here to check something. I am looking forward to hearing about this.
