Pentecost is the first of the harvest – It pictures the starting of the Church of God of whom are the first of those that God is calling

Leviticus 23: 15,17 – And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. ‘You shall bring from your habitations two waves loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the Lord.

The Church was founded on the day of Pentecost

Acts 2: 1 – Now when the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Feast of Trumpets represents the return of Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God

Leviticus 23: 23 – Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying; in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

The return of Christ…

Mathew 24: 29-31 – Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heaven will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will morn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

..will be a time of great joy and celebration for God’s people

Matthew 26: 29 – “But I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

Luke 22: 15-16 – Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

Leviticus 23: 26 -27 – And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying; “Also the tenth day of this month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

The Feast of Tabernacles pictures the time during the 1,000 year rule of Christ and the now glorified saints

Leviticus 23: 33 -34 – Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying; “Speak to the children of Israel, saying the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the Lord.

A time of great prosperity joy and happiness for all nations

Micah 4: 1- 4, 6 - 7 - Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between many peoples, and rebuke strong nations afar off. They shall beat their sword into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the Lord of host has spoken. “In that day says,” the Lord I will assemble the lame, I will gather the outcast and those whom I have afflicted; I will make the lame a remnant, and the outcast a strong nation; so the Lord will reign over them in mount Zion. From now on, even forever.

Psalms 22:27-29 – All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all families of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules over the nations. All the prosperous of the earth shall eat and worship; all those who go down to the dust shall bow before Him, even he who cannot keep himself alive.

Even the nature of the animals will be changed

Isaiah 11: 6-9 – The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze, their young ones shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the water cover the sea.

The eight-day of the Feast is called in the New Testament…

Leviticus 23: 36 – For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. On the eight day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.

..the Last Great day of The Feast

John 7:37 – On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirst, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the scripture had said, out of his heart, will flow rivers of living water.”

*Jesus was prophesying about those who will be resurrected after the millennium
Revelation 20:4-5 - And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgement was committed to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or it’s images, and not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Ezekiel 37:1-14 -The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst the valley; and it was full' of bones. Then He cause me to pass by them all and around, and behold, there very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said a me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord God you know". Again he said to me," Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the words of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly there was a rattling; and the bones came together; bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over, but there was no breath in them. Then He said to me, prophesy to the breath, prophesy son of man, and say to the breath, "thus say the Lord God: "Come from the four winds, o breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live."'" So I prophesy as I was commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Then He said to me, "Son of man, these house are the hole house of Israel. They indeed say, our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we our selves are cut off! Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold o my people, I will open up your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have open your graves, O my people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put my Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it," says the Lord.'"

Mathew 12: 41- 42 – The men of Nineveh will rise in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.

Then comes the end…

Revelation 20:11-15 (NKJV)
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

The people who will be judged (those who died from the time of Adam to when Jesus punished leaders of the Beast power) in the Great White Throne Judgment will not necessary be judged in one day, but I believe that it will be an allotted period to time and at the end of the period a judgment or a verdict will be given.

This does not mean that every person who will be in the second resurrection will be saved, as some believe because the scripture does not support this.

Matthew 25:31-46 (BBE)
31 But when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then will he be seated in his glory:
32 And before him all the nations will come together; and they will be parted one from another, as the sheep are parted from the goats by the keeper.
33 And he will put the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.
34 Then will the King say to those on his right, Come, you who have the blessing of my Father, into the kingdom made ready for you before the world was:
35 For I was in need of food, and you gave it to me: I was in need of drink, and you gave it to me: I was wandering, and you took me in;
36 I had no clothing, and you gave it to me: when I was ill, or in prison, you came to me.
37 Then will the upright make answer to him, saying, Lord, when did we see you in need of food, and give it to you? or in need of drink, and give it to you?
38 And when did we see you wandering, and take you in? or without clothing, and give it to you?
39 And when did we see you ill, or in prison, and come to you?
40 And the King will make answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Because you did it to the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.
41 Then will he say to those on the left, Go from me, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire which is ready for the Evil One and his angels:
42 For I was in need of food, and you gave it not to me; I was in need of drink, and you gave it not to me:
43 I was wandering, and you took me not in; without clothing, and you gave me no clothing; ill, and in prison, and you came not to me.
44 Then will they make answer, saying, Lord, when did we see you in need of food or drink, or wandering, or without clothing, or ill, or in prison, and did not take care of you?
45 Then will he make answer to them, saying, Truly I say to you, Because you did it not to the least of these, you did it not to me.
46 And these will go away into eternal punishment; but the upright into eternal life.
Notice that in verse 46 it says that some will go into eternal punishment. But don’t take that to mean eternal punishing, because the two are not the same. It is important to pay attention to grammar when studying anything, including the Bible.
The wicked will be consumed in a fire that cannot be quenched, that is not put out until all that is consumable is burnt up, then the fire go out because all is consumed. But the effect of the punishment will be eternal, which means that time itself will be erase….no more past as the it says in Isaiah 65:17.

...which is really the beginning

Isaiah 65: 17 – “ For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.

2 Peter 3: 13 – Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

If unrepentant sinners were going to be around forever in a never ending burning Hell, wouldn’t they be a constant reminder of the past?

These are just a few examples that can be found throughout the Bible, in The Old and The New Testament. Scriptures of how God will and have rescued humanity from the clutches of the devil, sin and death. Along with the glorified Christ and Savior, and the saints who also will be glorified will play an essential role in bring all nations to God.

Scriptures of how God will and have rescued humanity from the clutches of the devil, sin and death. Along with the glorified Christ and Savior, and the saints who also will be glorified will play an essential role in bring all nations to God.

I want say that, you are on the right path, the Holy Days is God's plan., But let me elaborate on them a little.
Bro.Tan
The plan of God is outlined in Leviticus chapter 23. When you begin to read this chapter you will find the Lord's weekly Sabbath and also the Lord's High and Holy Days. Each High Day has a very important meaning, and if you are familiar with them you simply know the plan of God. We will take a small look at these days, giving examples of what each day means. We will begin at the Lord's Passover and end at the Feast of Tabernacles. Now, let's take a look at the Lord's Passover.

Leviticus 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (verse 2) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Look at verse 2. Does it state the feast of the Jews, or the Feast of the Lord? These feasts are holy gatherings. These feasts are not a request, they are commandments.

Leviticus 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
Notice, once again the book states these are the feasts of the Lord, and they are Holy gatherings and must be observed in their season. We cannot observe these days when we get ready. They must be observed when the Lord says they must be observed. Lets take a look at the next verse and the Lord tells you the exact day you must observe this feast, which is the Passover.

Leviticus 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord's Passover.

Note what the book states. The Lord's Passover must be observed on the 14 day of the first month, which is the month of Abib. This month can be set by the new moon in the spring. In the 4th verse it states it must be observed in its season, any other time is wrong.

Within the Roman Christian community, the bread and wine is taken every Sunday or every first Sunday. They also have changed the name of the Passover. They call it communion, sacrament or when someone's about to die they call it the last rites. When this is done it is done in vain. It must be take when the Lord says it must be taken. Most people think the bread and the wine started when Jesus sat down with His apostles to eat the Passover.

The King of Salem Melchizedek used the same tokens (bread and wine) when he met Abraham. The bread and the wine is very old. Some people call this the last supper. I find that very strange, because after the Lord's resurrection He ate with His apostles on the seaside. So that last supper statement is a myth. Now let's break the Passover down a little, and get the meaning of this High and Holy day.

Let's go to Exodus 12:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Note what the verse says, this is the first month, the first month of the Year. This is when the New Year begins. Jacobs's elder brother Esau who calls himself a Jew states that the seventh month is also the beginning of the Year. But, the Lord states he has set the boundaries of all the sons of Adam according to the number of Israel. Israel has 12 tribes, so that let's you know there are twelve months in a year, not seven. The Lord picked twelve apostles, New Jerusalem will have twelve gates with twelve angels standing at them etc. Let's continue.

Exodus 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

Take a look at verse 5. Notice the lamb must be without blemish, a male of the first year, in other words this lamb has to be perfect and be the first born. This lamb represents the Lamb of God, which is Jesus. Jesus did not commit any sin. That would make him without blemish. He also was the first born of Mary, just like the lamb in verse 5 above. Jesus wasn't the only child that Mary had He was simply the first born.

Exodus 12:6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
They must keep the lamb until the 14th day of the month and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. Jesus death came to pass the same way. All Israel that knew they were Israel had to return to Jerusalem and observe the Passover. And Jesus was killed on the Passover and was taken off the cross at even (sun down).
Exodus 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Once the lamb was killed they put the blood over the door post. The blood protected Israel from the death angel that came through Egypt that night. It wasn't enough for the Lamb to die, but whoever put the blood over the door post was placed under the blood of the lamb. Israel was no cleaner than the Egyptians. The Book states a mix multitude came out from Egypt with Israel, this lets you know that other peoples had believed in the God of Israel. In other words, by putting the blood over the door post their faith in God delivered them.

Exodus 12:11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S Passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
The blood shall be a token and when the Lord sees the blood He will Passover you. This is were the word Passover came from. It means exactly that, Passover.

The Lord will Passover you when He sees the blood of the Lamb. When the Lord shed his blood for us, we had to come under His blood. Why? Every man born of woman has some type of sin. Once you bring yourself under the blood of Jesus the Lord will pass over your past sins. Once you have done that, you must try not to sin willfully. If you do, you will die for your own sins when you continue to sin willfully. To make it plain and simple, If the Lord doesn't Passover your sins He will destroy you.

Now let's connect the Passover to Jesus so you will have no doubt in your mind what all this represents. Most people think the Old Testament and the New Testament are separated. That's not so. The New Book is the spirit of prophecy, in other words it is the word of prophecy. Let's go to Matthew the 26th chapter and watch how both the Old and the New work together.

Matthew 26:17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the Passover?
Notice what's being said, they called the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the Passover. The Passover takes place the day before the Feast of Unleavened Bread it is outlined in Leviticus 23 and Exodus the 12th chapter. When Moses and the children of Israel came out of Egypt they left in haste. The bread did not have a chance to rise. That is why they called the Passover the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Matthew 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at thy house with my disciples.

Did the verse say I will eat the last supper at your house? No! It states, "I will keep the Passover at your house.

Matthew 26:19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the Passover.
The disciples made ready the Passover not the last supper. As I mentioned earlier, Jesus ate several times after this. Let's move on.

Matthew 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Jesus did not change the Passover, He changed the ordinance. Remember in Exodus the 12th chapter they took a Lamb every year, killed, and ate it. Being that Jesus represents the lamb, He wasn't going to die every Passover. He was sent to die one time for all that bring themselves under His blood. So, He used the bread and wine to replace the lamb. Notice what he says "Take, eat; this is my body." He gave us the bread and the wine to replace His body just as He replaced the lamb.

Matthew 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Notice what the Lord says, “This is the blood of the New Testament or New covenant.” But notice something very important. He says shed for many, not for all. Why did He say many? Because, you must do the same thing they did in Egypt. If you fail to put the blood over your door post, the death angel will get you. You simply must be under the Lord's protection or under His blood. How do you get that protection? You must confess that Jesus is Lord, but you also have to walk in the new covenant, which are the same old Ten Commandments the Lord gave the people Himself on Mount Sinai. The Lord says, "If you love Him keep His commandments. So, if you love Him so much, you should have no problem walking in His Law.

Now let's see who Jesus is to us.

I Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us:

Paul says, "Purge out therefore the old leaven". In other words purge yourself of sin, and become a new lump, being unleaven. Meaning one that is not sinful, why? Christ is our Passover and he was sacrificed for us. Just like the lamb in Exodus was their sacrifice Christ is ours. Remember, it was the blood of the lamb that protected the children of Israel in Egypt, and for us it is the blood of Christ that will protect us. If you don't bring yourself under the blood, when death comes about, you will die for yourself even the second death, which is the LAKE OF FIRE.

Now, this is what the passover is all about.
Bro.Tan
Next High and Holy Day is the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD. Let's return to Leviticus 23.

Leviticus 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
On the fifteenth day of the same month is the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD unto the LORD, seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

Leviticus 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
On the first day of this feast, you must have a holy gathering, and there is no work to be done.
Leviticus 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Being that Christ died for us and He is our sacrifice. We are no long under the sacrificial law. Now what we must do is offer ourselves as sacrifices, by offering up righteousness. How do you that? Keep the law! In the last day of this feast you are to have a holy gathering and no servile work is to be done.

Now let's see what this feasts represents.

Exodus 12:15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
If you have unleaven bread in your house, you must remove this from your house. Remember leaven represent sin. The Lord gives you something physical so you will be able to understand the spiritual aspects. Now if you have leaven in your house you will be cut off from among the people. Let's see why we observe this day.

Exodus 12:17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
This is the reason why we must observe this day. On the 15th day of the month the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt. The Feast of Unleavened Bread represents Israel's first deliverance. This day shall be observed forever.

This is the Feast of unleavened Bread

Now let’s return to Leviticus 23 and pick up the next High and Holy Day, which is Pentecost.

Leviticus 23:9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest unto the priest: 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

When you come into the land and reap the harvest you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits to the priest and he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted. Before anyone could partake of it the Lord had to accept it first.

Leviticus 23:12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

This should sound familiar. Notice what was to be offered? A he lamb without blemish or a perfect lamb and it also had to be the first born.

Leviticus 23:14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
You are not to partake of anything until the Lord accepts the offering. This shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

Leviticus 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

After the priest waves the sheaf, which will fall on the weekly Sabbath (Saturday), you must count 7 Sabbaths, this equals 49 days. Once you arrive at the 7th Sabbath add the next day after and you will have the day of Pentecost, which always falls on Sunday. Pentecost simply means fifty.

Leviticus 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the first fruits unto the LORD.

Notice what the verse states, "two wave loaves they shall be baken with leaven". Seven weeks later we must have leaven? Remember the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we are not allowed to have leaven. This represents the first fruit from among men, or in other words the first resurrection. The reason leaven is evolve, there is no man born of women that has no sin. If we haven't committed a physical sin, we have committed some type of sin in our minds. No one is clean except Jesus that is why He is called the Holy One of Israel.

How long should we observe this day?

Leviticus 23:21 “And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.”
It shall be observed forever, no servile work shall be done on this day and you must have a holy gathering. These High and Holy Days are not a request, they are commandments.

Let's go into Acts chapter 2 and see what day all of Israel was keeping when the spirit of God fell on the brethren and they were speaking their own language, but the other brothers from all over the known world understood them. Remember what you are about to read is after the death of Jesus. This will let you know we are still to observe these days. Pay close attention and see what Pentecost is about.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
These Israelites weren't tarrying for the Holy Ghost. They were there observing the day of Pentecost. They were simply keeping the Law the Lord gave our forefathers in the wilderness. Thousands of years later Peter and all the other Israelites that were present were simply keeping the Day of Pentecost.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
This rushing mighty wind John chapter 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (born of the spirit). Cloven tongues like as fire Psalms 104:4 “Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire”

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Notice what it says Jews out of every nation. Why were they in Jerusalem? Because it was the Law. This Law is for everyone not only Israel, but for all the sons of Adam. One God One Law for all.
Acts 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

It was the angels who did the interpreting. The "rushing mighty wind and the cloven tongues of fire" were simply angels. Peter was doing the talking and the angles interpreted. An example of this is the United Nation. Let's say the Russian ambassador stood up to speak. He would speak in his native tongue but each dignitary would understand him. How? They would have an interpreter speaking to them through a ear piece. But in Peter's and the apostle’s case, the angels did the interpreting

Acts 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Acts 2:12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, “What meaneth this?” 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

Peter said this is what the Prophet Joel spoke about. This Prophecy will take place in the last days. We are in the last day’s sisters and brothers and this will take place not to far down in the future. Take a look at the 20th verse; it gives us a sign of the day of the Lord. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come. This Prophecy was called thousands of years before Jesus came in the flesh. Let us take a look at the Prophet Joel.

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Joel and Peter were aware of this day. Now let's see what time this will take place. Let's go to Revelation the 6th chapter.
Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
What time will this take place? Peter said the Prophet Joel talked about this and they also said this is the day of the Lord. The day of Pentecost is more than just a regular day, it is the Day of the Lord's return. Let's finish this chapter in Revelation.

Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Now, sisters and brothers, this is Pentecost

Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets. Let's go back to Leviticus the 23rd chapter and pick this up.

Leviticus 23:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. 25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

This day is a High and Holy Sabbath, no servile work is to be done, and you must have a Holy gathering. We are no longer under the sacrificial law so, we don't have to do the sacrifices. We will go into Revelations the 8th chapter to see what the trumpets represent.

Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
There will be seven angels blowing trumpets and each time a trumpet is blown a vial of wrath will be poured out.
Revelation 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Each time an angel blows a trumpet a catastrophic event will take place on the earth. Let us take a look at some of the things that will happen when a trumpet is blown. We will go to Matthew the 24th chapter. When the Lord returns everyone will see Him. Jesus, in Matthew 24 also says that a time will come on the earth that He calls the great tribulation. Many people have some pre-conceived notions what the Lord will do when he returns. Just take some time and read the book it and it will tell you exactly what's on the Lord's mind. There are no mysteries in the Bible, you are just uninformed. The Lord said He revealed everything unto His Prophets. Now let's take a look at what is going to happen when the Lord returns.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

The book states immediately after the tribulation the sun will be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Does that sound like a secret? Notice something? It is the same time that Peter and Joel spoke about, they called it the Day of the Lord. Take a look at His coming and notice who will see Him.
Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Notice what the book says? After the sun goes out, the moon turns to blood, and the stars fall, then you shall see the sign of the Son of Man in heaven coming with power and great glory. And who will see Him, and why are they mourning?

The book states ALL the tribes of the earth will mourn. All means all! Does that sound like a secret? No! They will be mourning because in the prophet Habakkuk it states the Lord will invade the earth with His troops. In Revelation, the book states the blood will be up to the horses bridle. Isaiah says the mountains are going to be melting like blood. Jeremiah says the slain of the Lord will be from one end of the earth until the other. It is time to mourn don't you think? Jesus isn't coming to speak softly unto you this time, He is coming as a warring God in His full strength.

Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Notice what's being said. At the sound of the trump then He will gather his elect, from one end of the earth to the other. The earth is also called heaven. This is the last trump. The Lord will have many many things going on at the same time. Let's see some of the other things that will take place on this Last Trump. Let go to I Corinthians the 15th chapter.

I Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
We shall not all die, but we shall be changed. This is the resurrection of the just. The second resurrection will take place a thousand years later. But, for those in the first resurrection when will this change take place? 11
I Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The first resurrection will take place at the last trump and also the deliverance of Israel will take place.
I Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, and then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Why is death swallowed up in victory? When you become an immortal you can not die any more. It also states in the Book of Revelation, death and hell will be thrown into the lake of fire, which simply mean, after judgment, no one will die any more. The ones that are cast into the lake of fire will also be alive. They will also be immortals, burning for eternity.

This is why we observe The Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets. It is to remind us what will take place prior to the Lord's return, and also what he will do when He arrives. If you are on the wrong side of the fence the trumpets will be to your hurt. If you are on the right side of the fence, you will become a member of the God family. I suggest sisters and brothers that you continue to read your Bibles and keep up with current events and you will see the Word of God unfold right before your very eyes.

Now, sisters and brothers this is the Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets

Now, let us move to the next High and Holy Day, which is the Day of Atonement. Let's go back to Leviticus the 23rd chapter.

Leviticus 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
This is the Day of Atonement. It must be observed on the 10th day of the seventh month, you must have a holy gathering and also you must afflict your souls, which means you must fast on this day (sundown to sundown).

This day represents the atonement that Jesus made for us. In Moses' day the Priest would take 2 goats. One would be killed and the other would be let go. The Goat that was let go was called the scapegoat. On the scapegoat, all the sins of the people were place. It was then taken into the wilderness and released. This represents Jesus dying for us and taking all our sins upon Him self. This is for the ones that put themselves under the blood of Jesus. He suffered for us, so we should suffer a little showing our appreciation for what He did for us. Let's take a look at the 2 goats and move on.

Leviticus 16:8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. 9 And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. 10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

Both of these goats represent Jesus. The Goat was offered for a sin offering. What was Jesus? He was our sin offering to the Father. The scapegoat presented alive, represented the Lord when He came out of the grave and was presented alive to the Father. Let us continue in the 23rd chapter of Leviticus.
Leviticus 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

On this day there is absolutely no work to be done. This day the Lord made atonement for us. Let us now go into Romans the 5th chapter and see what the Lord's death and resurrection did for us.
Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Christ died for the ungodly. If everyone was without sin or perfect, the Lord would not have had to die for us.
Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Notice what's being said. We were reconciled or recovered by His death, and we shall be saved by His life. Remember the scapegoat? Jesus had to take our sins away. Just like the scapegoat released in the wilderness. If Jesus did not resurrect we would still be in our sins.
Romans 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

If you put yourself under the Lord's blood, He has made an atonement for your sins that have passed. You have been reconciled. It is up to you to continue in this reconciliation unto eternal life. (MEANING KEEPING HIS LAWS AND STATUES). This day represents the Lord making atonement for our sins.

This is the Day of Atonement.

Let us return to Leviticus the 23rd chapter and look at the last High and Holy Day. The Feast of Tabernacles.

Leviticus 23:33 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

Have you noticed each time a High Day is mentioned, the book states the Lord spoke unto Moses? The Book also says these are the Lord's feast. These are not the feast of the Jews, these feast are the Lords. On this day you shall have a solemn assembly you shall do no servile work therein. What is a solemn assembly? It is a coming together correct? This represents the coming together of the Lords people in the last days. The release of the people of God. Let us go to
Deuteronomy 31st chapter and take a close look at this feast day.

Deuteronomy 31:9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel. 10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, 11 When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

At the end of every 7 years this shall be the year of release. This is in the year of Pentecost or fiftieth year. Pentecost is also called the year of release. This is when the people will be brought together in the year of Pentecost.

Deuteronomy 31:12 Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:

Notice what it says. Gather the people together that they may hear, and that they may learn and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law. When is this done? During the Feast of Tabernacles. Let us have a better look at this. Let's go to Leviticus the 25th chapter. Remember that Pentecost in also called the Year of release.

Leviticus 25:8 And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

Remember the Day of Pentecost we had 7 weeks. Now we have seven Sabbaths of Years. (Which equal 49 years).

Leviticus 25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

Note what it says, thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement. Jubilee means rejoicing or release.

Tabernacle is the also call the Feast of Ingathering.
Feast of Tabernacles: The day the Lord will start to gather Israel and all the people that brought themselves under the banner of Israel.

The eight day, which is the last day of the feast of tabernacles, that great feasts, goes in to the Father's Kingdom.
Thats the day when there will be no more flesh.
Lets go to...Matthew 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom

Now, on the feast days what are we supposed to do? Take a look.

Deuteronomy 14:23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

On the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Pentecost (which is called the Feast of Weeks) and the Feast of Tabernacles. We shall eat and drink before the LORD with our entire household, rejoicing in the name of the Lord. We have taken a small look at the High and Holy Sabbaths. Remember Sisters and Brothers, this isn't a request. IT IS THE LAW.

Peace unto all that fear God and keep His commandments, in Jesus' name.

Colossians 1;15-23
15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation.* 16 Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been created through him and for him. 17 He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together.
18 Christ is the head of the church, which is his body. He is the first of all who will rise from the dead,* so he is first in everything. 19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, 20 and by him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross. 21 This includes you who were once so far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions, 22 yet now he has brought you back as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. 23 But you must continue to believe this truth and stand in it firmly. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed by God to proclaim it.

This explains why Jesus said "I am the beginning and the end"

You said some truthful things and some false hoods..When christ returns it will be the end of this age and it will usher in the Last and Final Judgment of men and then we go into eternity..no thousand year milinum its over..also at the last trump, both the righteous and wicked will be raised from their graves..the wicked to everlasting shame and contempt and the righteous to reward and glory..
Adullam
There are 2 resurrections...2 judgments etc....It is easy to miss the dual approach of the Bible. The saints are a different group from the righteous. The shamed are not destroyed but are among the saved. There are 4 possibilities when you take into account the 2 judgments. There is the saints/shamed ones judgment and the righteous/wicked judgment. One is according to royalty as it were and the other among commoners. A Christian is called to be a saint....but at least he is to strive to be righteous. In this way if he misses the high calling he may still partake of the goodness of the land with the righteous. Many will be shamed on that day who call themselves Christian at this present time. Blindness and slumber are the keywords to the church in this present generation.

Lets read some verses,

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4-6)

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
(Revelation 20:12-15)
