John 14:[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (??) But first, one MUST BE BORN AGAIN! John 3:3-5 & ONLY these of Acts 5:32 are. John 16:[7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
[8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
[9] Of sin, because they believe not on me;
[10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
[11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. (Finished!)
[12] I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. (?)
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (??)
[15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
(And it seems that that this pennman.. John, who lived right on up to AD 96 would have had the Holy Spirit have him tity up any mistakes that he had made?)
And a tad bit of Judgement?? Rightous JUDGEMENT!
Gal. 2:11[9] But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.(I personally get tired of open sinners telling one to not judge filth & corruption!)
[12] For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
[13] And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
[14] But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
Elijah here: The reason this rebuke was done in public was because these same folks assembled might never again.. 'all' be present. And take note that Peter never questioned the rebuke.
