Elijah here: To understand this lets start back in chapter 36:22 at least, to get a good sampling. And I will just jump on in to explain how I see it. We do realize that the chapter numbers & verse numbers periods & coma's were added by translators, huh?[/size] Subject: EZEK 37's DRY BONES +++!
[22] Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. Well, it does not take much New Testament to figure who the Heavenly Zion is! All the way from Adam on through to the 666 Mark testing. Rom. 2:28-29 is Holy Spirit documented. And Christ/God does not ever change His Word. Heb. 13:8. And it is a given fact that this Virgin Zion Israel was always an 7th Day Sabbath keeping 'remnant' only. Rev. 12:17. [23] And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. This states a factual Truth, yet it does not tell us who Israel is!
[24] For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

One can read this as they want?? They can think ahead to their (Israel's) captivity, or see it as talking Truth, that the Israel that the Godhead is talking about here is from [b]ALL of Their creation of mankind!
[/b][25] Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
[26] A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
[27] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.[/color]

[b]This is interesting, for it goes directly to the Born again New Church of Acts! Jn. 3:5, 2 Cor. 3:3, Heb. 8:10, Heb. 10:15-16 and are men, women, gentils who are now Israel as the whole of Rom. 2 Documents! And once again when old Israel was rejected, the New church replaced them as the Lords church or candelstick! Rev. 2:5, Matt. 23:38, Rev. 3:16-17 & Rev. 3:9.
[/b][28] And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. Once again we see the Born Again Remnant who made up these ones that were Obedient all through the past/tense history, that are spiritual Isreal. The Everlasting Gospel of Rev. 14:6!
[29] I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

[30] And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
[size="3"][31] Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. These ones surely are the now converted Born again ones like us, huh? Note the reaction of Peter when Christ had told him , ''Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.'? Matt. 26:69-75 'He went out and wept BITTERLY.'
[32] Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

[33] Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. And that day will come when Christ as our High Priest FINISHES His Work. Dan. 12:1-2.
[34] And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
[35] And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. There is the verse that tell it flat out. Whe ALL the saved from start to finish are RESURECTED in the First Resurection, and caught up with the Living Saints, then Eden will be restored! Rev. 22:1-4.
[36] Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it. And the heathen?? After they come up from the grave in the second resurection to die again at the ending of the 1000 years, they will get a glimpse of the Holy City decending, and then they will be executed in the lake of fire to die the second 'Eternal' death. Obadiah 1:16. See Rev. 20:12-14. And old Israel are many of these ones of Obadiah & also check out Luke 12:47-48.
[37] Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

[38] As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
The only thing Old Israel needs to do to see this fullfillment is to look at how the Bible has gone world wide! Now just forget the chapter numbers and remember the above & see if this helps in your understanding?
Ezek.37:1-14
[1] The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

D-E-A-D! OK?? These are Not the Christian ones alive when Christ COMES AGAIN! But the ones who have died from Adam on to the very last Born Again & saved saint who are Redeemed by the Blood of Christ.. THE LAMB. Got that?? All the SAVED OF MANKIND! Take NOTE of the ones in Rev. 20:12-14 again. These are the wicked DEAD, but these next ones are the ones that will come up in the FIRST RESURECTION! (Rev. 20:6) and the only way that the the wicked are [STANDING] BEING DEAD, is as stated.. [BY RECORD BOOKS]! They are not alive nor are they in heaven. Compare Eccl. 12:13-14 'CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER'.
[2] And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. This represents the total sum of the Rightous dead. Many, and from Adam on who have been dead & dried out for a very long period of time. A long long time, huh! And what does one hear today from satan? Naw, there is no after life, and where is the promise of Christ's coming?? And the Lord has documented here in these chapters as well as all over His Word, that Faithful ISRAEL will be raised from the dead and have Eternal Life!.
[3] And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
[4] Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Take NOTE that this is a PROPHESY! The compilars call it a [PARABLE] at the top of the chapter in the King James translation. Awhen Christ Decends to earth.. 'Behold, I will shew you a mystery; We shall [NOT ALL SLEEP], but we SHALL BE CHANGED, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: [for the trumpet shall sound, AND THE DEAD IN CHRIST BE RAISED] ..' 1 Cor. 15:51-54 in part only.
[5] Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

What is of prime importance here is that God states that He will put breath into these Saints once again that they may live. Yet, remember that God breathed the 'breath of life' into Adam to make him 'alive as a living soul'! Remove our breath and the soul ceases life! Again, only Obedient Israel is to be given Eternal breath this time around, (Acts 5:32) and again Israel is the whole of 'only the Obedient Remnant of Zion's Israel'!
[6] And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
[7] So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
[8] And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.OK: lets just post the verse of Adam's creation. Let start with perfection? Lets just say Adam body was perfect, yet not alive as of yet. He was NO living soul! Maybe perfect was about 16 ft. tall? Yet he was DEAD by our terms. (yes, how could he be dead if he were never alive? Whatever) The verse now states.. 'And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and [breathed into his nostriles the breath of life]; and [man became a living soul.]' Gen. 2:7 [9] Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
[10] So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
[11] Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. OK: 'These are the whole of the house of Israel'. And some are saying that this is physical Isreal as a nation, instead of the ones saved throughout history from Adam on. Not the pre/flood saved ones, not the pre/Abram ones of Gen. 12:5 Gentile 'souls gotton in Haran, not the ones of Lev. 17:8 Gentile ones from all throughout the Bible, but a rejected DESOLATE fold who killed the Master! And whose teaching does one believe that that is from??? Rev. 3:9. [12] Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
[13] And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
[14] And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: [color="#ff0000"]then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
