Talkbacks for this article: 1

Syrian President Bashar Assad warned Monday that Israel, the US and the entire world would pay a heavy price if Iran is attacked.

"The problem is that when one side begins such an operation in the Middle East, it won't be possible to control the consequences which will likely influence the region for many years to come," continued the Syrian president.

Assad also criticized the US and its conduct in dealing with the Iranian nuclear threat. He said although logic should dictate that an attack on Iran should not be carried out due to its consequences, the Bush administration was not acting accordingly.

"The Bush administration is stirring up a war," he said. "It is acting against the reason of our country, as well as most European and world nations."

Meanwhile, French ambassador to Israel Jean-Michel Casa said that he did not rule out the possibility that tougher sanctions on Iran would lead to a regime change in the Islamic republic.

"If Iranian products come under tougher international sanctions, the Iranian public will begin to question whether the nuclear program is unnecessary, and maybe the regime will begin to conduct itself in a more logical manner," Casa told Army Radio.

The French envoy also expressed hope that Syria-Israel negotiations would at the beginning of next year lead to a visit of Syrian President Bashar Assad to the Knesset, or to a visit of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert or President Shimon Peres to Damascus.

Entire World Would Pay A Heavy Price If Iran Is Attacked

Once you engage the enemy - all planning and preparation quickly becomes null and void. Nothing will turn out as expected. That's the way things work in this world.

Whether Iran is left to it's own worldly ambitions (not attacking) or is prevented (attacking) - the world will pay a heavy price.

There isn't doubt in my mind that Iran's Ahmadinejad is evil and will use nuclear power to destroy anything and everything that is in his ambitious way - all in dedication to his idol.

He speaks out of both sides of his mouth - our program is for peace - we will remove Israel from the map. His peaceful plan is total destruction of Jews and Christians. This is what A-jad perceives peace to be.

I agree. If Iran is attacked or not attacked the World would still pay a heavy price. Either way a war is still coming. The question remains who will strike first.
End-Time Calling
If there is nothing learned from the most recent of world wars, ACT NOW! But you see things are political just are they were then. This time if most decern correct we are facing the end of the age and we will see things rise to a level of evil and violence in the world that has or never will be matched. Cling to Jesus because He is the only that will see us through it reguardless if we lose our lives in the process or not. We come out on the Side of Life.
I hope that for the sake of our world and the world of tomorrow we act soon, before Iran has the bomb that they believe will help assure in their Messiah the Mahdi. but all is according to The one True Gods plans. he will decide the times and circumstances.

Apparently, President Assad has not read the bible. He doesn't know the ending from the beginning. Thankfully, we know "who" is the beginning and the end. Amen.

Well as long as we hear of wars and rumors of wars we know the end has not come upon us......

so what are you believers doing on the internet on this forum? is it like entertainment for you?

if you believe all the things you post and realize what it means then you should be in sackclothe on your streets in your local city or town and warning people. does this make sense to you? is this a "sound word" ? leave the comfort of your home and please dont trade it for a conference hall or mega church, the street is just fine smile.gif

if faith comes from hearing the word of God, then why dont you go out and proclaim it smile.gif God will be with you smile.gif

Some do others do not. They will be responsible for how they handled what was given them. I agree with your furvor. But be carefull not to pass judgment. Or as we're told in Romans do not pass judgment on the things you do yourself. Cause to be writing what you are that means you yourself are sitting somewhere typing, not on the streets.
So do what you're saying and you will be good on that day. And pray for those whose faith is weak. That they might become strong and hit the streets.

Since you asked, here's what it's about for me:

Malachi 3:16
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

The word says to exhort one another daily in Hebrews 3:13.

Frankly, I exhort, and am exhorted by the folks here more often than I am by those in my own home fellowship. Something is wrong with that, I know. (Probably the busy-ness of American Christians' lives in so many things that just don't matter all that much.)

When the U.S./world economies fail, then I will no longer be able to afford even a cheap dial-up service like I have now. My attention will likely turn to living the way folks did in the 1800's and glorifying God in it.

Are you ready?

In Christ,

Mike
