"Religious snake-handlers busted in Kentucky"
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25651899/Is the state interfering with religious freedom or is religious freedom going too far?
Gods Blessings,

I agree with a quote from the article
....."A venomous snake isn't a pet. You don't play with it. If you do, you're an idiot."Harsh words but very true. These people and the one leading them are not understanding scripture...to their detriment. The subject being discussed is....Christ is reprimanding the eleven disciples and telling them to become apostles and take His Word to "
evey creature." In doing this He is telling them the signs they will experience and the power they will have. One of which is.....
Mark 16:18
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."Those spreading His Word will be able to "
take up serpents" - take up children of The Serpent, Satan. They can drink the serpent's poison...his twisted, vile deception of God's Word and...it shall not hurt them. It won't hurt them because they know the truth.
To answer your question....religious freedom in this case is not of God and it harms His children. People are free to do what they wish but they should ask themselves...how does this honor our Father? If it doesn't honor Him then just what father does it honor?
Don't play with snakes!
