Woo hoo Miki and you're welcome, Justice! wink.gif Time for grocery shopping, I can just imagine the cost of the bill this week. OY! And I have to fill my tank too. Bleh. Have a happy day all!
Justice
Stephen, thank you for the clockwork reminder =) Well timed!

Rose I spend 10 euro per week on groceries (for just me), as I went down to eat only bread, cheese and milk (ok once in a while peanut butter or an egg).
Good thing God took the hunger away!
Rose
Justice, me too!!! I don't have half the hunger I used to have and I can get by with a bowl of Cheerios at night and no hunger pangs in the middle of the night! wink.gif I think the Lord is doing this to ready us for the coming shortages. AMEN and GLORY TO OUR LORD!!! PRAISE HIM ALWAYS!

Reminder of the Six Day War 1967

In May 1967, Egypt expelled the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) from the Sinai Peninsula, which had been stationed there since 1957 (following the 1956 Sinai invasion to allow for a free Suez Canal) to provide a peace-keeping buffer zone. In reaction to Israeli-Syrian tensions, Egypt amassed 1000 tanks and 100,000 soldiers on the border, closed the Straits of Tiran to all ships flying Israeli flags or carrying strategic materials, and called for unified Arab action against Israel.[5] In response, on June 5, 1967, Israel launched a pre-emptive attack[6] against Egypt's airforce. Jordan, which had signed a mutual defence treaty with Egypt on May 30, then attacked western Jerusalem and Netanya.[7][8][9] At the war's end, Israel had gained control of the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, eastern Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. The results of the war affect the geopolitics of the region to this day.

Actually I do not think that we are testing the Lord about anything.
As I said,we expressed how we feel for Israel.Sure it would be nice to pray for the Innocent people in the arab nations and there is no doubt that many muslums are coming to Jesus. Now would Rose go over there and bomb the arabs herself? Those who would seek to harm Israel?Well she is thinking it.A righteous anger! But that small voice inside of her says No!
And She knows who that Voice belongs too.IF a man slapped you up side the head and then kissed your wife in front of you in a matter of 15 seconds, you would probally want beat on him a little, meaning you got angry for him disrepecting someone you love more than life itself.Instinctively, you want to slap this guy around, but that little voice says,NO!But there is a righteous anger.Even the Lord got angry in the temple at the money changers.
These modern day pharesee's make me want to puke!Again there is not one righteous! no not one!But the Lord!
.....................................benny cool.gif

Don't let me or anyone else get in the way of you indulging yourself in unrighteousness. Don't fight the feeling! None are righteous anyway! unsure.gif

That's correct!..None are righteous anyway. Walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. but if you do mess up, we have an advocate

You apparently have not listened to Jessie Duplantas....He is not a hypocrite.
He always says what goes through his human mind as such as Rose did.but maybe you think that you are holier than thou.Just now, as I am typing this.I started to type something, but the Lord did not Like what I was thinking..and so I did not type it. I do try to walk in the spirit, but sometimes I mess up.And sometime we say things that is not understood by others, but the Lord does know what is in our hearts.I do not drink beer, just never had a knack for it....But maybe one day someone would ask me if I would like a swig of gold slauger.I might say yes and I might say no.but if I should say yes....I am still a child of God and I have not sinned at all......Now if I were to get drunk then that is a different story and that would be a sin.....same thing if you become a glutton at mealtime....it's a sin.....another thing, what may be a sin for you may not be a sin for me.I think that we should pray for Israel, and for thier enemies. But we know that there are some that will try to harm Israel, and I think that we should help Israel and kick Iran's but if they ever attack Israel. There are christians in our armed forces, and some of them love Israel, and would want to protect Israel if given the opportunity.....and if necessary, kill those who would harm them.King David tried to get the Lord to kill his enemies. If you should try to threaten my friend in front of me, I will warn you verbally what I will do to you should you try.I will preach to you also and pray for you, but if you step over the line...I don't play around. Not everyone is a limp wrist christian. Some of us will not play around if you step over the line.

....................................................benny cool.gif

What does Jesse Duplantis have to do with your own venting? He is responsible for his words and deeds and so are you. You admire a man enough to ape his errors? Follow Christ rather. Cursed is he that trusts in man. In the name of Jesse?

A non-violent person is only limp-wristed in the eyes of the fleshly one. Do you need rhetoric to feel macho? I am thinking of all the innocent ones that your callousness would burn and maim in your infernal glee. I'm a realist. The Spirit awakens us to reality.

Note to anyone reading these posts that may be offended: The viewpoints expressed here do not truthfully represent the purpose of this forum. These hateful positions are not backed up by the Bible, by Christ or the Holy Spirit. God does not hate Russians or Iranians. Hatred and racism, while tolerated here on sufferance, are NOT Christian attributes. They are shameful to us. Please do not take offense at the spiritual poverty of a few. Many Christians love all people, and do not wish death on them, but rather an abundant life. We wish men to be saved and not obliterated. We seek a true peace through the Messiah of God. Christianity does not equal intolerance, hatred, and racism, but rather love in the Spirit. I apologize again for the offense.

Peace in Christ,

John

You know what this reminds me of? This reminds me of the liberals calling the Christians hate mongers because they oppose homosexuality.

No need to apologize for us adullamb... apologize for yourself for not standing for Israel.

God hates sin. I understand where rose is coming from. I know the kind of heart she has. She's been around a lot longer than you. She hates sin. She's against the enemies of God's choosen people...His elect. The Lord will shave with precise accuracy..those who bless and curse Israel. Those who weep and mourn with righteous anger will be satisfied.

Did Jesus stand for Israel? Is His kingdom of this world? Your carnality is showing. Not all people who stand against war mongering are politically motivated. If I don't join your mob, it doesn't mean I am part of a different mob. You are stuck in a mob mentality. Can anything good come out of this mentality. Here is where the Cross must do it's work. Submit to the Lord and be cleansed from your unrighteousness.

You are behaving as immature children at the least and as a mob in your glee. Don't confuse glee and bloodlust for the joy of the Lord. Grow up!

God does not rejoice over the death of His enemies. And we are admonished to love our enemies. Of what spirit are you? Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Do you think that Jesus felt glee on the cross? There's a real life going on out there...you need to see that there is more than empty rhetoric needed here. Pray rather that God will spare you from the coming judgment.

Adullam,

Until YOU grow up and realize that there is righteous anger (as Benny said, thank you Benny smile.gif) then you will always have something to make a big deal about. The Lord had righteous anger and did that make him EVIL? Blasphemy!!! I think that you need to just wake up and realize we are dealing with something that is WAY bigger than all of us and we are all trying to put it into perspective. This back and forth goo goo ga ga with the UN, the sanctions that never come, the little punches here and there, the cowering in the corner, that is the DEVIL's WORK!! This is what he wants, he doesn't want us to be RIGHTEOUS, he wants to taunt us. Do you really think that PEACE will ever be a reality in the Middle East (or at this point ANYWHERE in the world??)... there is a limit to everyone's RIGHTEOUS anger and like Benny said, even he turned over the money changers' tables where they were buying and selling at the HOUSE of the LORD. I want Israel to get free... after all they have been through (the Holocaust, the continued shelling, rockets, their losing all their land, etc.), it's about time someone sticks up for GOD'S PEOPLE, the APPLE OF HIS EYE. Read the Bible, it's all there. I am allowed to have an opinion. I don't own a bomb and I have love for those who do not threaten me, but if you threaten me, I will also be angry, it's human (HUMAN) nature.

Be at peace, leave it alone. You won't really get anywhere on this one. I sense you are either a pacifist or maybe even possibly have Arab relatives (just an assumption, not saying you do), but you are doing your utmost to protect citizens in another country who have said they wanted (and numerous times, as well as chanting DEATH TO AMERICA in their own PARLIAMENT.. now what would happen over here if we did that in CONGRESS... all the senators yelled DEATH TO IRAN?? Do you think we'd be on the planet long??... but they are allowed to do it. Rules for some but not others, it just doesn't make sense.) Israel will NOT be wiped off the map unless the rest of the world goes down with it. And I say, COME LORD JESUS!!! Bring it on!

God also judges. This does not give you the same license. You must learn your place or you may not like the correction next time. God is patient with us, is He not? You can't go around acting like God, however. The days of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth are past. Had you understood the gospel, you would rather turn the other cheek. You would look to the Lord without human judgment. You reason as a carnal person. Human nature is to be exchanged for the divine nature. Have you never heard of this or read it in your bible? If you had discernment you would hear the righteous indignation in my posts to you and the glee club. By the way...all humans are the same in His eyes...He does not have any favourites. It is dangerous to project your carnal ways unto God. His ways are much higher than that.

John,

Sorry but until we all have the MIND OF CHRIST, we ARE carnal! Why do you think there are so many wars? Do you think CHRISTIANS never had wars?? You are blinded too. Yes, gone is the day for a tooth for a tooth, nobody is saying it isn't. There is NO glee club here, only a discussion about what we feel is right for Israel as that is the one country God mentions at the ONE that is most precious to HIM! He does have a FAVORITE country.. ISRAEL!! HE says so!!! I am NOT perfect, no one is, not ONE, not YOU, not ME, NOBODY!!! WE will not be perfect until Jesus makes us that way, we are tried by FIRE and trials and many things. I have read the Bible many times, so I am no fool or idiot about what it says. I have been a believer since I was a child. I am 47 now. I am not dumb and very involved in world affairs. I know very well what is going on and with my brother in Iraq, as soon as he gets home in Nov. I will know more than a lot of you here do because they have first hand knowledge of the world affairs from the front lines. I intend to learn all I can. I do have discernment and I note your holier than thou attitude, that's what I discern. I am not a hater of men. I am not judging to do the deed myself. I am ASKING GOD to DO THE WORK. HE GIVES MEN the POWER to do what HE has already intended!!! This was all SUPPOSED to happen!!! This is what predestination is all about. I am not going to argue here, I have better things to do, but did you ever hear that 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease?'... well, John, you're so smart, go ahead, take the grease, you win, okay?

The only prize is Christ. Israel is according to the Spirit and is not a temporal country. Even the Hasidics who are not Christian, know this. Why don't "Christians" know more than the Hasidics? Notice the spiritual poverty in the church today. Why do people judge with their eyes instead of by faith. Are we to walk by sight? If I am looking for Jesus, will I find Him buy googling Him on the net? (I hope you don't agree with that) You accuse me of a holier than thou attitude, because you can't take simple correction...biblical correction. Are you unteachable? What are you really learning? You need knowledge of the truth...that is the purpose of learning. There is no depth to rooting for carnal weapons. Our weapons in Christ are not carnal. People are not our enemies...only spirits are. We seek to drive away the evil spirits and preserve the men. Killing men is not the province of true disciples. Pretty basic, no?

Looks to me that Adalum is a pharisee.I swa thru this holier than thou a long time ago.Even satan can twist words to play on your conscience.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, "O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been. (Rev. 6:9-11)

Just as the church has a fixed number to achieve before its time on Earth is fulfilled (Romans 11:25) so it is for believers who're martyred for their faith following the Church's disappearance.

An Eye For An Eye
In Hebrew the word translated "kinsman redeemer" also means "avenger of blood." The same next of kin who was responsible for buying a relative out of debt related servitude or redeeming his lost property, was also responsible for avenging physical attacks against a relative that resulted in death. The tribulation martyrs are calling for enforcement of this law.

Our Lord Jesus is our Kinsman Redeemer, come to pay our debts and buy back that which our father Adam lost. But He's also our Avenger of Blood, responsible for bringing to justice the one who maliciously murdered our first parents and therefore us. Everyone who sides with Satan, called those who dwell on the Earth in Revelation, will share his punishment, just as we who side with the Lord, called those who dwell in heaven, will share His inheritance.

You said what I could not put into words... but you said it more eloquently and Scripturally than I. I have the fightin Irish in me and it's hard for me to keep a discussion like this up without feeling more angry. I don't like angry. But the kind of anger that the Lord has is different than carnal anger... I will leave the rest to HIM. Thank you for saying what I could not in the right words. You're a blessing.

Iran: IAF drill jeopardizes global peace

Iran criticized on Saturday a recent Israeli military exercise that US officials said was designed to show Jerusalem's ability to attack Teheran's nuclear sites.

'IAF apparently held Iran strike drill'

Iran's official IRNA news agency quoted a government spokesman as saying that the exercises prove Israel "jeopardizes global peace and security."

The spokesman, Gholam Hossein Elham, also said that Iran believed Israel has no ability to strike its nuclear program.

According to a New York Times report published on Friday, Israel carried out a major military drill during the first week of June that US sources say was apparently a rehearsal for a potential attack on Iran's nuclear sites.

Russia warns against attacking Iran
Several US officials were quoted by the newspaper as saying that it seemed the drill was an effort to develop Israel's capacity to carry out long-range strikes and to show the gravity with which Israel views the Iranian nuclear issue.

In addition, one Israeli political official familiar with the drill told The Times in London that it would do well for Iran to understand the meaning behind the drill.

"[The Iranians should] read the writing on the wall . . . This was a dress rehearsal, and the Iranians should read the script before they continue with their program for nuclear weapons. If diplomacy does not yield results, Israel will take military steps to halt Teheran's production of bomb-grade uranium," the official told the London Times.

More than 100 IAF F-16 and F-15 fighter jets took part in the exercise, which was carried out over the eastern Mediterranean and over Greece, the officials quoted by the New York Times said.

The drill also included IAF rescues helicopters, continued the officials, adding that the helicopters and refueling tankers flew more than 900 miles, which is approximately the distance between Israel and Iran's uranium enrichment plant at Natanz.

The IDF would neither confirm nor deny the report. The army issued a statement saying only that the IAF "regularly trains for various missions in order to confront and meet the challenges posed by the threats facing Israel."

Nevertheless, a senior Pentagon official, who the New York Times claimed was briefed on the drill, and who spoke on condition of anonymity, said it appeared to serve multiple purposes.

One aim, according to the official, was to practice flight tactics, aerial refueling and all other details of a possible attack on Iran's nuclear sites and its long-range missiles.

A second goal, the official was quoted by the New York Times as saying, was to give a clear message to the US and the rest of the world that Israel was prepared to attack Iran if diplomatic efforts to stop the country's march toward the production of bomb-grade uranium fail.

"They wanted us to know, they wanted the Europeans to know, and they wanted the Iranians to know," the Pentagon official reportedly said. "There's a lot of signaling going on at different levels."

Several US officials were quoted by the newspaper as saying that they did not believe that Israel had made a final decision to attack Iran and that such a raid was not imminent.

The New York Times went on to claim that Iran had recently beefed up its air defenses. "They are clearly nervous about this and have their air defense on guard," a US official was quoted as saying.

A Pentagon official reiterated that although the IAF usually holds a major drill early in the summer, the exercise early this month involved more aircraft than had been previously seen and an extensive combat rescue mission.

"They rehearse it, rehearse it and rehearse it, so if they actually have to do it, they're ready," the Pentagon official said. "They're not taking any options off the table."

Israeli military analyst Martin Van Creveld from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem said military preparations for a possible attack were indeed under way.

"Israel has been talking about this possibility for a long time, that it would not take an Iranian nuclear weapon lying down. And it has been practicing the operation or operations for a long time," he said.

But though an Israeli strike would likely be able to "paralyze the most important Iranian nuclear installations," it probably won't be able to destroy the program entirely, Van Creveld said.

"I would be very surprised if Israel can really knock out every part of this program, which by all accounts appears to be large and well concealed and well dispersed," he said.

I don't see anything wrong with the IAF and IDF doing a drill... doesn't every military exercise itself and do 'dry runs' just in case they are attacked? It's totally okay to be prepared. I mean, the Red Cross and Fire Departments/Police Departments do mock disaster drills 'just in case'... what is so wrong about the IAF doing this too? Our US Air Force and Navy and even Army run drills all the time, they test missiles in the desert, they make runs in the nighttime. I just don't see why Iran is making such a big deal. They are assuming that this 'drill' was for the purpose of taking them out. It even says it in the headline that they assumed it was for a POTENTIAL attack. They obviously WOULD thnk that. And, of course they will say that so they get more people on their side to feel sorry for them, more allies to think the IAF and US are in it together and we are going to make it happen. I think if I was Iran I would offer all the information I could to prove I had a peaceable nuclear program. They have not done that and what is the rest of the world supposed to do, just blindly BELIEVE them? I think the proof is in the paperwork, and allowing those who check out these programs to do their jobs. To keep hiding it from everyone and just 'saying' you are using nuclear power for electricity and a peaceful purpose doesn't cut it. The rest of the world has to hear their chants about wiping Israel off the map, of DEATH TO THE US, of many other things that our country would never get away with, and yet these guys get slapped on the wrist over and over again and get to whine about everything while the price of gas goes steeper, and the Israelis get blamed for everything. The main point here is a drill. Whoppee.. I would have as many drills as I could if I were them, get it right and target the right areas. Then feel confident if you have to do the job yourselves. The Israelis are not going to take a weapon lying down, they made that clear. So why make the big deal about them practicing to be able to defend themselves, even if they can't do it all, they can make a dent. AMEN. Go for it, IDF... give it what you got!

hi marta!

Woo hoo! Marta Farta is here! Marta, how are you????

Yes, this is a prelude to war with Iran. But is this the will of God? Is God pleased with the idea of Israel bombing Iran? God says: Isaiah 55:8 " For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD. 9 "For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Consider Jeremiah who prophesied concerning the destruction of Jerusalem. Was his message well received? The majority of those who called themselves "prophets" were against the message which the Lord gave to Jeremiah. Does the majority equal right? Does "might" make right?

Was Israel the "apple of God's eye" when God Himself brought King Nebuchadnezzar (whom He referred to as "MY SERVANT") to war against Israel???

Ezra 5:12 "But because our fathers provoked the God of heaven to wrath, He gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Chaldean, [who] destroyed this temple and carried the people away to Babylon.
Jeremiah 27:8 'And it shall be, [that] the nation and kingdom which will not serve Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation I will punish,' says the LORD, 'with the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
Jeremiah 43:10 "and say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Behold, I will send and bring Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden. And he will spread his royal pavilion over them.

We cannot judge these matters by our own thoughts or our own ways. I'm NOT inferring that an invasion of Iran into Israel would be God's will either, but the point needs to be made...God's protection of a nation IS conditional. Not only this, but God has shut up ALL under disobedience, that includes the current nation of Israel.

Consider..
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told [you] in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those [who are] Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
