Not surprising! I don't think it's that they don't realize what they are doing, they just don't care as far as I can see.

This is a report from India. There is TWO sides to every story.

You should do a Google Earth view on it.

Very true there is two sides to every story, but that that is the other side to this story is just as bad!

In Indonesia, the scrap parts for the US built computers including the electronic wires and screens and boards are shipped to Indonesia where villagers go through the dump and pick out the pieces to reassemble the computer and remarket it. The rain leached chemicals that flow into the rivers from this electronic equipment causes a die-off of the fish which become infected and eaten by hungry vultures which become diseased and die and develop diseases like H5N1 bird flu and they discover that the birds have the flu and they cull the whole continent.
What are they going to do when the H5N1 bird flu jumps to humans? Cull them too?

I didn't mean to make it sound like I don't care. Quite the contrary. I feel bad when I think of the little children that play in those areas or may swim in the toxic waters.

My former World Relgions Professor had lived there for a period of time when he graduated college and I had seen all the slides he had of that country.

Many many false gods in that country and demonic infestation.

We need to pray for these people. But I hope that if a U.S. company is really responsible, in anyway shape or form...that they do something about it.

However....one cannot blame the WHOLE United States for it.

WE don't know that this kind of thing goes on unless we are told about it. And if it is shown to truely be out Governernments fault....I think some more housecleaning is in order (if you get my drift)!

That kind of thing should NEVER go on or be allowed.

And if it is our fault....or if we are partly to blame...we need to get in there and clean it up for them. That is only right. And then quickly fire those who allowed it to happen in the first place.

I am surprised that only now you guys are hearing of this. The India steel giant Tata has said ten years ago: give me your old ships, I will break them down for free, it saves you the expenses of clearing the PCB's, heavy metals, other carcinogenics and asbestos. Tata pays less than one dollar a day to poor people in India, to demolish these shipwrecks, towed onto the shores.

Here in my country, "Tata" is a word that todlers say meaning goodbye.

smile.gif.Well there is certainly darkness in India but there is little bit of light that is shining.

Hey WhiteKnight....

I know that there is family (like yourself) that lives there too. smile.gif The light of Yeshua in you is the light in that part of our world.
Be strong and know that the Lord is with you.

And I know there is some mighty ministries growing there in the midst of it all. We had the pastor of a Mega church from India come and talk to us one night. He has a HUGE church in India. I think I have a little book he wrote somewhere on my bookshelves. At the moment his name escapes me...but I would not be surprised if you know of him.

I hope that this mess will be cleaned up for you all.

Just know that not ALL Americans are evil.

Most of the people in this country are not privy to the things big Corporations do or even things like this that our own Government could allow.

When we do find out about it....we tend to not like that very much.

God bless.
