A TESTIMONY OF HEALING FROM THE LAKELAND REVIVAL
Confirmed by the Stanford University Medical Center doctor!!

She placed the phone over her kidneys & they got hot!

Grace & I were sent to Lakeland, Florida a couple of weeks ago by the Holy Ghost. We are not conference
runners. We do conferences and minister healing and revival crusades ourselves. But when God says go,
you go. Our hearts are desperate for an increase in "the ministry of Jesus" in our lives and ministry! And
make no mistake, that is what is being poured out in an uncommon way with Todd Bentley in what is now
called "The Lakeland Revival, or Florida Outpouring."

Although we have people healed of all kinds of diseases in our own meetings around the world, we still have
serious challenges in our own lives. We have even had Todd in our church twice and he stayed in our home
both times.

One might think that someone like us wouldn't need to run to a meeting like this. But as Pastor Pedro Ibarra,
who is pastor of one of the leading revival churches in Argentina (Carlos Annacondia's Pastor) preached in the
morning service while we were there, "when something like this is released from heaven, no matter who we are,
we must be humble and hungry enough to bow under it in order to connect with it and to receive from it." (My
paraphrase of the point of his sermon) He, himself, bowed and received prayer from Todd the night before.

Our three children are all adopted from infancy. Our oldest daughter, Bernadette, is Salvadoran by nationality.
She is 25 years old, a wife, and the mother of a beautiful 5 year old little girl. (Grand Pa's braggin' rights here!)
For her whole adult life we have been walking through the flames of hell with her and her failing kidneys. Originally
the well meaning doctors said that she would never see her daughter's 5th birthday. She is enrolled in a special
program at Stanford University Medical Center. The doctors said that she is not a canidate for transplants
because of an uncommon condition of her blood. She has been on dialysis and her kidneys have been as low as
under 10% of their function .. and falling. We, and many intercessors, have been on our faces doing battle over
this. Over the years there have been several respected prophets that said "she shall live and not die," yet the
battle raged on.


BUT GOD!!
Our third night in Lakeland was the first night at the baseball stadium. Todd started calling out different body parts
that God was healing. I grabbed my cell phone and called Bernadette and said "put the phone on your kidneys"
... she did and immediately they got hot. She was in Colorado then and not available for a doctor visit. But now at
home in California, she went for her doctor visit yesterday at Stanford and after the blood tests and check-up the
doctor said ...

... "our treatments and medicine could not have done this. This must have been your God because it
wasn't possible by medical standards to get better like that, and especially in that fast of a turnaround."
Bernadettes kidneys have suddenly jumped to 76% and 80% output, respectively! And they are improving
rapidly! She is off of dialysis! Somebody shout Praise The Lord with me!!!

Bernadette shared the whole story with the doctor about the Lakeland Revival, the phone on her kidneys and the
heat. The lady doctor listened. She has a personal challenge with her own son's health with a heart murmur and
autism. She promised Bernadette that she would tune into God TV and the revival herself.

Now here is an interesting question. Grace & I have a proven healing anointing and revelation of the ministry of
Jesus Christ. So why did we did we have to go somewhere else to receive a miracle for a prayer that we have stood
so long and so hard for? Well first of all we don't have all the answers and there are things that we are still learning
all the time. The only thing I do know is that we don't have it all. Even Todd Bentley will tell you that he doesn't
have it all.

The Apostle Paul said in Phillipians 3 that he had not attained or apprehended it all, but forgetting about everything
else he kept pressing for the mark of the prize .. Christ Jesus! (My paraphrase) He also said in 2nd Corinthians 12
that he learned to glory in tribulations and infirmities (challenges) because when he was weak then was he strong
because the power of Christ came upon him.

It is also a historical fact that most of the healing generals of the past, like Wigglesworth, Kuhlman, A.A. Allen, etc.
held powerful healing miracle crusades while fighting their own physical challenges.

Therefore, we as ministers and believers must understand that its not about us and our circumstances, but about the
Lord Jesus Christ, and the Word and its mandates and promises.
Somebody say amen with me again!

So friends, be encouraged, God is faithful and the Word is true!

Don't look at the preacher, look at God and those who are healed.

It's not because Todd is Todd that God moves. God is greater than any "man".

So when God used an --- to warn Balaam, what would say.

"Look at the ---'s ministry"?

God always used the foolish and weak to do His work.

And God confound's the "wise".

I think we should look at the Word and reject everything that we cannot see there. A GREAT deception is here and many cannot see it.

If something is NOT Scriptural: Reject it. God will never tell you , you were wrong if you do that.

pray for discernment

a family member called me months ago from another part of the country and was telling me about the revival and that its on satelliete tv 24/7
i told her the first thing that i thought of when i was told about what was happening (she phoned and before speaking to her i did not know about it) which was to remember that these are the last days and there are lots of false prophets. i was told on the phone that many people say its demonic but there are miracles etc and the preacher is amazing he used to be a biker has tats etc and the Lord saved him.

i got uncomfortable on the phone at one point because there was a vibe it was werid like talking to a drug addict trying to tell them drugs arent good but they are like totally hooked.

That is why the road is narrow because the road is only inside the Word of God. Not anywhere outside of it.

Many people are placing their emphasis on things and signs and wonders and prophecy and meditations, retreats, hearing in the Spirit .......and all the time they are neglecting the Word of God and what THAT is telling us to do. People add on, they take away, they carry on as they please and do many things under the banner of God. Anybody can say: The Lord told me so. or I saw Jesus. but if what they heard and what they saw, moves outside the Word of God we must reject it.

Psa 119:9 Beth. Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Psa 119:105 Nun. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path. (It shows us HOW to walk, so that we are not deceived by things like these "revivals".)

Act 10:28 Then he said to them, "You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Test the fruits, does he glorify God and His lamb?

If he is not of God his work will come to nothing....

Now when Jesus came and He received the Spirit, the former rains, demons came out of the woodwork, they were there before but manifested when Jesus showed up with the Spirit...

All I know countless people came to salvation, if this is of the ennemy, why is he bringning people to Jesus anyway?

I do not believe we should call any man common or unclean as well

On this one, like the "revival" before it, I am also going to still take my stance on the Word and say, that I do not see anything there that bears a resemblance to the Scriptures. As far as salvation is concerned, we will have to see how many stay in the Kingdom ,after the last BAM died out. Sorry, its just my opinion, but I have had dealing with the last one and at this very moment we are still seeing the fallout from that "revival" . Most of the churches that has been involved in it are having problems. One of our biggest churches, the pastor has divorced twice now and he is still the pastor. They are now taking some other pastors to court because of fraud.

Many people are having problems with lust and also listening to deceiving spirits. You can look for yourself on this forum, how people who promote it, become the advocates that the Word of God is not as important as the "voice of the Spirit in your ear"

Too many come out of this hurt. disillusioned and not grounded in the true Word. This revival is a placebo.

ATM Machines Set Up at Todd Bentley’s Meetings
June 25, 2008



When attending church, it doesn’t take long to see what the main focus of that church is. Either the service will be centrally focused on Jesus through praise, worship, and teaching of the Word of God, or it will focus on signs, wonders, miracles, and money. If your pastor or speaker approaches the platform with Bible in hand, and expounds the true Word of God to those in attendance, then you know that is a Bible believing church. If your speaker or teacher approaches the platform with twitches, shakes, screaming, and an hour-long testimony about all the things he himself is doing in his “ministry,” then you know the teacher is self-centered and not teaching the whole council of God.

What you focus on tells what you serve. In this case, Todd Bentley, according to World Magazine, spent at least 30 minutes on the offering alone. The magazine also reports that there are ATM machines set up at the Lakeland Revival. This should make it more convenient to keep the people giving. How considerate of them. What time he wasn’t talking about himself or manifestations, he was talkin about money.

A visit to one of Bentley’s services suggests that he is learning how to turn the big crowds into big money. ATM machines have been set up, providing attendees with ready cash for the offering plate and book purchases. The offering is now a significant part of the service, taking as long as 30 minutes. Bentley has not released financial information, saying he is “too busy keeping up with what God is doing” to pull the information together. Source.

World Magazine also reports that when they asked Bentley for verification of healings, his ministry claimed “privacy issues,” and disclosed nothing. Transparency is of vital importance to any ministry. When they will not disclose any information, it leads us to wonder why.

True revival begins with repentence and humbling yourself before God. The people visiting Lakeland have heard no sermons on repentence, obedience, and Godliness; they hear nothing about Christ and Him crucified, and instead are taught to invoke angels, and to call for fire. While all of this chaos takes place, Jesus is standing somewhere out near the curb where He’s been kicked.

Remember, Jesus said in John 12:32: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” The Holy Spirit, who Bentley tells his congregants to call on, will not even speak of anything pertaining to Himself…only the Son of God, the life and light; the Living Water, the Bread of Life (John 16).

I used to oppose the opposers of revival. But now I sit and watch from the sidelines. I am glad Toronto happened. it lit my fire and paved my way. The latest event is dynamic to some and anathema to others. I know Todd Bentley is prone to much speaking about giving to ministry. I have had this nostalgia turn to nausia to a degree myself. I am not able to be a correspondent to Lakeland as I have not followed it. But my former pastor went and when he came back I suddenly found myself looking for a new church. That may be coincidental. He said he saw miracles there but he was not himself touched. And he has issues worth touching. I am tired of controlling men. Angry men. Unaccountable men. I would go to Lakeland if I was offered the expenses paid. But I am here and God knows where to find me in the mean time. I have wondered why so many revivals happen in Florida and have thought it must be the weather. Surely the human need is no more obvious there than elsewhere. I am jaundiced.

I have found that alot of what is being said sounds childish at best.

As for there being lots of revivals in florida, It has been said that G-d will do the same around america. But remember, where evil abound, grace much more abounds! I get tired of finding one more page of the judgements of yet another group of believers, because really things arent the same as you would have them done. This kind of judgemental treatment was done to Jesus, having those around him saying that what he was doing was of the devil. Becareful not to judge so that you fall into blaspheming the holy spirit!

We have to judge what comes to us "in the Name of God"

If it is not in the Bible, we are not allowed to accept it. I do not think that is too difficult a guideline to follow. I follow that in my personal life as well. I try not to go beyond which is written and I also know that when I do that, the Lord will not say to me one day "But you should have gone outside my Word Cornelius! "
(The very thought of Him saying that, sounds ludicrous to a Christian, because we instinctively know that we must not do that and that He will never say that)

So why are we so comfortable trusting people who say they come "in His Name" but they do not preach the gospel nor do the things of the Apostles ? Why are we not brave enough to make a stand for the true gospel? All the miracles of Moses was duplicated by the Egyptians and if we have to go according to the latest new "rules" then we must also agree, that the Egyptian magicians were from God.

Simply because we SEE things, do not make them necessarily from God. Only that which you can see in the Word, is from God. The rest is not.

Simple rule, safe rule: Stay in the Word.

Jesus can take what is meant for evil and turn it around for good....many after receiving these (forces of nature or energies have RUN TO JESUS, I can verify it...just do a search on the word Kundalini and you will see the same symptoms of those that are slain in the spirit...

I want to know one thing...WHERE in the BIBLE where people SLAIN in the SPIRIT? I realize that Paul was on his horse and was knocked off, with a bright light of the LORD on him, but it was God's purpose to use Paul for his gospel...

And when Jesus sent OUT HIS DISCIPLES, he said PREACH THE GOSPEL, and then lay hands on...all for his Glory not that we could boast.

All one has to do is read the WORD and stay grounded in Jesus and see the falsehood spoken, and repent and be covered by his blood and ...but many are like the 5 foolish virgins, desperate for Jesus they turn to false prophets. I have been praying for this man that he is knocked down by the Holy Spirit and RUNS to JESUS, and also those whom attend that they RUN TO JESUS. I have some friends whom are attending...I warned them but they didn't heed my warnings...maybe though God allows the hedges of protection to come down , for when their eyes and ears and hearts are deceived they will come to confusion AND CRY OUT TO JESUS I PRAY OH HOW I PRAY ...and HOPEFULLY THEN THEY WILL SEEK GOD's WORD. We all know that Jesus tells us that the HOUSE OF GOD will be judged first...stay grounded in his WORD and Pray and examine ourselves daily...For Jesus is not willing that any perish but all have eternal salvation through his Grace we are saved not of anything we do of ourselves...and it is not those whom will or run, but those whom wait upon the LORD, for he will lead us to all truth and his arms are stretched out still. COME TO JESUS, HE LOVES US DEARLY...he sees our hearts, he sees the lost and hurting, he sees the misguided and longs for them to come into his open arms. why BECAUSE HE LOVES US. AMEN

The ATM thing makes me really sad I have watched this guy a few times on God TV here in the UK. I guess I really don't get what his message is. The last time I watched him he was telling all those there to tear down the walls of the spirit realm. What? Am I missing something? I guess I must be.

I am no saint but I am awake. I remember Cainman almost crucifying me when I made a stand.
Ever so often I raise my voice against this circus, but indeed, the laodiceans always manage to "soothe" the situation, and so it festers and festers.

Matthew 11. Jesus answers John's Disciples:

So imagine if they came not in Jesus' name what will happen, I pray all TURN TO THEIR FIRST LOVE...JESUS IS LORD there is no OTHER NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES.

just like you have said C...it's about repentance...Once satisfied people are soon to forget..change only comes by seeking Jesus' face daily and laying down our own face.

we've all heard of the dreadful conditions of those whom are EMPTIED then filled...don't make yourself so vulnerable that you allow yourself to be taken captive and thrown into a pit...(the fruit of the forces of evil...even though God allows it to happen as it did in the Garden of Eden.
loss of identity with God,(separation) confusion, dillusional thoughts, always seeking the next sign, everything drawing you away from Jesus and focusing on self instead of loving the LORD thy God with all your heart, mind and spirit and neighbor as thyself...
or getting drawn away into focusing on the signs and experiencing the Spirits instead of the Creator of all Living things...

and verse 43 confirms it:

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through the dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

Oh Jesus is our Rest.

44. then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out: and when he is come he findeth IT EMPTY, SWEPT, and GARNISHED.

Is this referring to one allowing themselves to be slain in the Spirit? I wonder, and it is disturbing.

45. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself SEVEN OTHER SPIRITS MORE WICKED THAN HIMSELF, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

just as so when one studies the occults of Eastern religions on mediation and soul travel and out of body experiences....making oneself an empty vessel...
WOE, watch out, for the verse 44 applies here.

Work out your Salvation with fear and trembling...although many ministries continue to twist God's word that there is no fear with God...God gives us fear for a reason...it is his protective warning system...(WORK out you salvation with Fear (reverence to God )Stay clear of confusion for God is not the author of confusion but of a sound mind and SPIRIT.

Leviticus 19:28 says:

Todd's Tattoos
"Todd has recently told the Charlotte Observer ( link to article ) that he got the bulk of his tattoos before coming to Christ. By his own admission Todd became a Christian at age 17 which means that he must have had these tattoos for a total of at least 14 yrs. Yet do a google or YouTube search for Bentley photos and you will quickly notice that he had no visible tattoos even two years ago. If he got these tattoos recently as clearly he did, then why does he feel the need to lie about it? Which brings me to another point- he claims that he was a hard core biker before coming to the Lord. I often hear his peers dismiss his tattoos as a left overs from his biker days. What biker days? He came to the Lord when he was 17!!

I challange Todd Bentley and everyone else to obey the scriptures and follow the example of Israel and obey the commands of the Lord. I challange him to at least pull out those **** earrings.

so whats the problem i looked at the footage and i dug around and did some more reading i can understand that this would freak out normal christians who have not seen a pastor do this or an evangilist


so is their a problem when it comes to Jesus spitting in a mans eyes ? should have Jesus been charged and arested by the roman soldiers and flogged ?

are we know going to establish new laws and expect pastors and evangilists who hold healing meetings to abide by these news laws wher you cant lay your hand on a person as this wil to be seen as assult

i am also seeing that Jesus used harsh words towards the pharisees and sadducees should what we read in the new testament be taken out because a man decides to do something diffrent

should i feel bad for having what i have on my body what i have is from the past and i am not going to pay $10,000 dollars just to have what i have taken off its expensive to do this and it leavs a mark

i have a fair few tattoos on me and its going to cost each time i viset just to have what i have on my body takken of because christians today are stuck in the past

i would rather help a poor person than waste this much removing my tattoos that have been on me since i was young and a sinner

i hear what you are saying but i have always been taught not to judge until you have the proof in front of you

one thing i am agianst is religon and i pray with my leadership team that god deals with the spirit of religon

we have a guy in australia called john smith he is a pastors son he reaches out to the bikkies and has talked in most of the churches in australia

john smith is not a bikie him self but he calls the group that goes out with him gods squad and they spend a fair bit off time educating christians

some of the guys that go with him are x bikies and their are a few that like todd bently and support him

todd bently has spokken in australia and he is well liked by the christians hear who have gotten to know him

i dont just agree with everyone and condem a man because some people cant handle what he stands for and what happens in his meetings


should we not be praying for todd bently and his team instead off whinning on the inter net ?

I'm sorry, but kicking people in the gut and hitting them over the head isn't how the Holy Spirit heals... no way Jose!

I was healed of scoliosis of the spine in the 90's by a healer from South Dakota who came down to the Burbank Methodist Church here in Southern California. My mother and I attended. I was in a horrid state and in severe pain taking 15 extra strength Motrin tablets per day in five dosage increments. My spine was twisted into an "S" shape from front view. I went up for my healing and all the healer did was surround his hands around me while I stood in the middle of the church. He did NOT physically touch me at all. He did not shout at all; there were no mumbo-jumbo exclamations. He was SILENT. And then to my absolute astonishment the Holy Spirit came down and embraced my whole body and began manipulating my spine. I was almost lifted off the very ground in levitation as the Spirit slowly twisted my body side ways then backwards and forwards. You could hear all the vertebrates popping and my bones cracking. The congregation was totally bewildered, as was I. I had no control over the movement of my body. And after about ten minutes the Spirit lifted off me, and I was suddenly aware of the complete and total absence of that terrible EXCRUCIATING PAIN. IT WAS GONE!!! It was the most marvelous feeling in the world, not to feel pain. And, I could stand erect and not bent. I rejoiced like never before, and the congregation praised the Lord. My mother was so happy for me. It was a true, true miracle.

Yet, again… the healer did not touch me; his hands and arms were a good 10 to 12 inches away from me, surrounding me… but it was the Holy Spirit that physically touched me, no man.

As for Todd Bentley, no one can convince me that this is of the Lord. Jesus never used violence and did not kick someone in the stomach.
Jesus merely TOUCHED someone or even only THOUGHT of someone and they were healed.

yes jesus just touched people and they where heald i am also reminded of the women that touched jesus he felt the power go out of him and said to his disciples some one touched me this poor women went to the drs and they could not help her but as soon as jesus came to her village she said to her self he can set her free and when she touched him she was heald and jesus did not kick her in the gut


when i was in the philippines and i was praying with my partner over one of the guys who had a back problem i just simply rested my hands on his back and god heald him i felt this heat comming threw my hands and i just thanked god for what i wittnessed unfold in front off me

Its simple: What is being preached at this "revival" There are only TWO GOSPELS:

• The Gospel

And

• Another Gospel

Which one is being preached? Are people breaking down in repentance and confessing their sins to God in large numbers? (I am not talking about altar calls with hyped-up excited people, who want to join the party ) Is this marked by brokenness of spirit and true repentance. Is Jesus being lifted up so that He can draw all men to Himself. What and who is lifted up at this "revival"

Are there rumors about the misuse of money? Is somebody making money........or is it "freely ye have received , freely give" ?

So which is it? Is the true Gospel of repentance and death to self preached. Is Christ in you the hope of glory preached? Are you satisfied that without these basic scriptural principals, that the true gospel is still the one featuring in this revival? Ir are you one of those who follow signs, without measuring anything to the Word of God.

Are you one of those, who could not care less about the Word as long as you see something supernatural?

Think again, brothers and sisters. We are in the end times, and God is not going to do anything ever, that it not soundly based upon His Word.


This is a Trojan Horse for the enemy. He has built it and rolled it right into the center and now he is inside and the people of God is celebrating , because they received a wooden horse.
