perhaps, this has something to do with...........the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer
the poor are hit by higher prices for bread (they can't afford necessities),
and the rich can afford luxuries
Jesus told John the Baptist..............Look!, the blind see, the lame walk, and the poor have the Good News preached to them!........( a Sign that the Messiah has come) .............WILL THIS BE REPEATED IN THE SECOND COMING?

the THIRD WORLD (poor) desperately need staples (corn, wheat, rice, etc)

unless the govt starts food-rationing, ..........goods, services, and food will flow to the rich..........leaving the poor to starve
