5When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart[a] of wheat for a day's wages,[b] and three quarts of barley for a day's wages,[c] and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

If its not happening right now, it sure does look like it

Oil is doing very good, record profits in fact, and the wine industry is growing, yet people all over the world are rioting over rising wheat and rice and other food staples, to the point that in some countries, a quart of wheat costs a month's wages, for many, a day's wages, other a few weeks worth....

perhaps, this has something to do with...........the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer

the poor are hit by higher prices for bread (they can't afford necessities),

and the rich can afford luxuries

Jesus told John the Baptist..............Look!, the blind see, the lame walk, and the poor have the Good News preached to them!........( a Sign that the Messiah has come) .............WILL THIS BE REPEATED IN THE SECOND COMING?

Just so long as pizza and root beer are unaffected, I'll be fine. (Just a little humour in the midst of a serious topic.)

Hey FlyingSquirrel. The world's population surpassed the 6,660,000,000 mark a few days ago.
Remember you're to count the number of the.... B&*^%
Well, if that's count the number of, as in, how many are there, then, it would make sense. Food is going up here in the United States too.
I'm imagining it will keep going up? Hopefully not, but, hey, what can we do.. sad.gif

It is sad to see greed and what it can do to the world by just a small group of money hungry people, while the masses suffer, but for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, know what is really going on.

What is written must be fulfilled, we were given a set of warnings, found in Deut., Obey and receive blessings, disobey and receive a curse.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If My People, Which Are Called by My Name, Shall Humble Themselves
Then Will I Hear From Heaven

Jesus Proclaimed the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

The end of this age is at hand -

This same Gospel is now once again being announced to all the world!

That prophecy is being fulfilled...It is seen all around us!

The word has been heard and is being heard still!

Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!

Prepare to meet your God!

YeahI thought of this regarding the wheat prices soaring. Its happening in US too.

the THIRD WORLD (poor) desperately need staples (corn, wheat, rice, etc)

the rich can buy anything they want

unless the govt starts food-rationing, ..........goods, services, and food will flow to the rich..........leaving the poor to starve

the spike in wheat, corn, rice prices will starve-out the poor in the THIRD WORLD............but it won't affect the rich folks, ...........the rich will enjoy food, oil , and wine, while the poor starve

just as Rev 6 says
dennis mann
the democrats (USA), environmental wackos, satanists, etc.........want to stop and reverse population growth.....

that's why PLANNED PARENTHOOD, abortion, condoms, population-control, etc are big business, today.

the rich are worried that the poor will riot/pillage/destroy/murder........if the poor are hungry

don't be surprised if the world's leaders start a new plan to de-populate the earth

the old plan is not working fast enough
