A Spry Farrakhan Sings Obama's Praises

In his first major public address since a cancer crisis, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the U.S. will change for the better.
The 74-year-old Farrakhan, addressing an estimated crowd of 20,000 people at the annual Saviours' Day celebration, never outrightly endorsed Obama but spent most of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator.
"This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said. "This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."
Farrakhan compared Obama to the religion's founder, Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father.
"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he told the crowd of mostly followers. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."
Farrakhan also leveled small jabs at Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama's rival for the Democratic nomination, suggesting that she represents the politics of the past and has been engaging in dirty politics.
Farrakhan's keynote address at McCormick Place, the city's convention center, wrapped up three days of events geared at unifying followers and targeting youth.
It had a different tone from a year ago, when Farrakhan made what was called his final public address at a Saviours' Day event in Detroit. The 74-year-old was recovering from complications from prostate cancer and months earlier had temporarily passed on leadership duties of the organization's day-to-day activities to an executive board.

Between Oprah's endorsement (meant to sway weak minded women - some men, but mostly women - who follow her around as if she was the female version of JESUS, to Farrakhan's assertion that BO is a "Savior", the hope of the entire world that will make America better, a picture is forming.

I've read many commentaries about Barack Obama wherein he's been hailed as Messiah-like, even documenting supporters of his fainting in the evangelistic-like atmosphere that apparently manifests itself at his campaign rallies. I've even seen video of the latter but nothing I've seen thus far concerns me more where this Democratic candidate for president may lead this nation if elected than what I read just this morning.
Fox News is reporting the following, in part (emphasis added mine):

For those unfamiliar with the Nation of Islam and Farrakhan, I assure you that his endorsement of Obama is anything but a good sign for our nation if he should win the White House as the agenda of the Nation of Islam, under the direct leadership of Farrakhan until recently, is well known.
The Nation of Islam, according to the Southern Law Poverty Center for example, is listed as a black separatist hate group.
Here's how the Southern Law Poverty Center defines a black separatist hate group:
Black separatists typically oppose integration and racial intermarriage, and they want separate institutions — or even a separate nation — for blacks. Most forms of black separatism (or black nationalism) are strongly anti-white and anti-Semitic, and a number of religious versions assert that blacks — not Jews — are the Biblical "chosen people" of God.
Although the Southern Poverty Law Center recognizes that much black racism in America is, at least in part, a response to centuries of white racism, it believes racism must be exposed in all its forms. White groups espousing beliefs similar to black separatists would be considered clearly racist. The same criteria should be applied to all groups regardless of their color.
Louis Farrakhan has a record of bigotry and hatred that is well-established, as seen in the following excerpt from an Anti-Defamation League article:
Farrakhan’s bigoted and anti-Semitic rhetoric has included statements calling whites “blue eyed devils” and Jews “bloodsuckers” that controlled the slave trade, the government, the media and various Black individuals and organizations. In 2006, he blamed Jews and Israel for the war in Iraq, for controlling Hollywood and for promoting what he considers immorality during his February Saviours' Day address in Chicago.
Farrakhan's nod of approval to Obama should raise red flags for Christians because of all of the above, particularly at this hour in our nation's history when its support of the nation of Israel is beginning to waver.
If Louis Farrakhan thought for one second that Barack Obama would be a friend of Israel he never would've called him the "hope of the entire world." Am I off-base in suggesting that? Interestingly, today I read that Barack Obama's top adviser, Samantha Power, said the following in a 2002 interview concerning what needs to be done to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (emphasis added mine):
"[It will] mean sacrificing - or investing, I think, more than sacrificing - billions of dollars, not in servicing Israel's military, but actually investing in the new state of Palestine, in investing the billions of dollars it would probably take, also, to support what will have to be a mammoth protection force, not of the old Rwanda kind, but a meaningful military presence."
A Haaretz article documenting those comments credits Noah Pollack, a writer for Commentary magazine, with making sense of what Power is in favor of.
Pollack, according to Haaretz, very reasonably interpreted Power's words as "an expression of support for a "ground invasion of Israel and the Palestinian territories."" Pollack believes this to be the case because of the words mammoth protection force. Me, however? I think it's quite possible that Samantha Power is envisioning something taking place in the region very familiar to what Bible prophecy tells us is ultimately going to come to pass in the troubled Middle East - the advent of the Antichrist through a confirmation of peace in the region.
Daniel 9:26-27 tells us a prince (or leader) of Roman descent is going to confirm (or make strong) a seven-year covenant of peace in the Middle East between Israel and her enemies. He will do so "with many" assisting him, something which I think it's fair to say, based on Samantha Power's previous statements made on the topic, a Barack Obama Louis Farrakhan-endorsed White House may be willing to accommodate, particularly at this hour when, as I documented recently, Israel is considering creating a situation that would require a Daniel 9:26-27-style scenario to occur to end conflict there.
A day when Jerusalem will place its trust in someone it never should've is coming and Scripture, as plainly as I can tell, foretells a time in the Tribulation Period to come when what once may have been considered a "mammoth protection force" will be discovered to be anything but that!

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
That Barack Obama is being hailed as the "hope of the entire world" by purveyors of hate like Louis Farrakhan with women passing out right and left at his campaign rallies as some liken him to a savior of sorts doesn't sit well with me for all the obvious reasons. That someone who has an ideology that could lead an Obama-led White House to be among the "many" of Daniel 9:27 shakes me to the core because I would hate to think that the United States of America, in any scenario, might play a role in permitting the advent of the Antichrist to occur. What disturbs me most of all, however? It isn't any of the above.
What rattles my cage terribly is knowing where the real hope for the entire world lies, in the person of Jesus Christ our Lord, and watching as the world looks for answers everywhere other than Him, for the most part at least.
If by chance Barack Obama is elected president of the United States, I sincerely hope that my concerns will prove to be unwarranted and he will prove to be a fantastic leader. Right now, however, after hearing of Louis Farrakhan endorsing him? It's enough to make Hillary Clinton look a better option!
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!

That entire statement is eye opening. As you implied...what fall? And, I didn't realize Muhammad's mother was white.
This whole Obama thing is disturbing. How a country could contain so many people that "worship" this man (middle name Hussein) just 7 years after the towers were destroyed is beyond me.

I don't see what people see in Obama. He is a copycat. During the debate last week, Hillary spoke first; everytime the time for him to speak came, all he did was to say something like "me too"; that guy is a copycat.

Many supporters of Barak Obama are concerned for his safety, since May 3 Obama has had Secret Service Protection. Odd isn't it? Why are so many people concerned about him and not concerned about the other candidates?

My thoughts exactly. I bet he could even go into the audience and lay hands on people, and they would claim they were healed. It's pretty scary to me. And like whirlwind said, how can people possibly accept this man so soon after 9/11????? How quickly people forget, if they ever really thought about it to begin with.

All this messianic megalomania makes me wonder when the "miracles" will start to happen? I can hear it now:
"I fainted, and Barak touched me and I woke up!", or "Barak shook my hand and my arthritis was healed!", or "Barak delivered my child from ADD"; the list could go on and on. I am waiting for that to start.
Not to be outdone, apparently a person fainted yesterday at a Hillary rally - amazing! The electricity these people are emitting, the magnetism they possess is just overwhelming! Surely they can control the weather?
Just a thought -
GOD - JESUS CHRIST - has power over all flesh (John 17:2 - "As thou hast given him power over all flesh..."). GOD the FATHER will give us whatever we pray for when we pray it in JESUS name (John 16:23). Please pray that BHO is convicted in his heart that he needs the TRUE SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. Pray that BHO responds to the conviction of his heart and tells his followers to stop worshipping him, and to turn their hearts to JESUS CHRIST. Maybe he can lead by humbling himself? Maybe it will be a time of testimony?
On the flip side of that, the bible is specific:

I really do not know what types of symbols BO has around him. I do know this: someone or something is doing a wonderful job of deluding a lot of people into thinking that this man will somehow "save America", that he is a "savior". Farakhan said it himself!
As far as JESUS is concerned, no doubt JESUS will arrive on the scene very soon. However, I do not think HE will need to say "I am Jesus your Savior" to anyone. The bible tells us in Phillipians 2:

HE will not have tell anyone who HE is. All of creation knows who HE is. But that is beside the point. There are going to be - and are presently - many false prophets and messiahs in the world during the run up to the last days. We are seeing it now, this latest episode coming in the form of Barak Obama and his willing side kicks like Oprah and Louis Farakhan. What company to be in, Oprah!
Please be sure to watch the signs. There is no magic symbols, no mathematics to worry about. It is plain and noticable and out in the open for those willing to see.

I agree he does not have any supernatural powers. Never said he did. I think what we will see is a further escalation of his presence as being "illuminating", "riveting", "miraculous", etc. Worked for Bill Clinton!
I also am waiting for the time when someone claims they were "miraculously" affected by BO. I would like to see the man give JESUS CHRIST the credit for his immediate rocket rise to political rock star status. I don't think that will happen anytime soon, though. By the way, I live in Illinois from wence BO hails. His focus has mostly been the Chicago area, and like most typical Chicago politicos, he could give a cat's whisker about the people who live south of I-80. I do not know of a single, solitary accomplishment of his here that affected the great state of Illinois as a whole in any positive way. Not a single one. But he makes it to Washington and he sponsors (in his name alone) 152 senate bills in 2006, and 113 (in his name alone) in 2007.
He has been busy sponsoring bills, that is for sure. He did sponsor a Senate bill called the Global Poverty Act (S.2433), which was passed. It requires the President to develop and implement a comprehensive policy to cut extreme global poverty in half by 2015 through aid, trade, debt relief, and coordination with the international community, businesses and NGOs. How that will be done - if it is signed by the President - is yet to be determined. Perhaps through the confiscation of profits from greedy companies that employ hundreds of thousands of people. Perhaps by heavily taxing the paychecks of CEOs who make obscene amounts of money. Maybe through the roll back of tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. Sounds good, right? Sounds fair, doesn't it? One thing is for certain - it will be done by appealing to the base emotions of those who feel they are down trodden, uneffectual, and oppressed. Basically those who live by their emotions alone, and are easily swayed to covet what others have, envy what others do, and think it is "okay" to take away from others to "even the score". Lawlessness. Pure secularism without a hint of CHRIST in it. Not one.
If Pat Robertson called Mike Huckabee the "savior of our people" like Farakhan did, I am sure the press would have a field day with it. But Barak gets a pass because the press is as enamored with him as BO's own followers. Go figure.
First Black President or not, the fainting and swooning and theatrics are phony. I could care less what skin color the President has. I don't want magician's tricks - I want to be able to elect a leader. If he is elected into the office of President, what parlor tricks will he perform then? This pretty much stinks all over IMO.

Now truthfully, when this post started about this guy, I just rolled my eyes, oh not again. 
I though that was reaching. After some time though, wow. I can see just what you are talking about and the smile is off my face! The med. is working over time to white wash his actions when it comes to trying to get others to think what he has done and was around was harmless. Does skin color - race - have anything to do with leadership? 
Leadership is a quality bestowed by GOD alone that enables one to lead a company, a community, a church, a family, a great people or nation. Moses thought of himself as ineffective at the job GOD set him out to do, and yet he accomplished the task. Leaders such as Joseph, Joshua, David, Solomon, Nehemiah (who was a teenager!) just to name a few OT patriarchs were ordained to lead others and rally them through the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT and the LORD's favor being upon them. They all enjoined the common thread of the LORD's annointing to move a nation, rebuild a temple, move a people into the Promise Land. On the flip side, Adolf Hilter was an effective leader who preyed on a vulnerable nation. He blamed the Jews for all of Germany's problems. Today, the Oil companies, the CEOs, the pharmacuticals, the military, the Republicans, the rich people, the CHRISTIANS are all to blame for people feeling things are going bad. They can't do what they want, act however they want, kill as many babies as they want, use human embryos to find ways to cure themselves, so they blame the one's who they think are preventing them from having that good time. But they can claim trees, animals, water and the weather are much more important that the people who GOD gave these things to in the first place. Good is bad, up is down, boys are now girls and girls are now boys, etc. Listen to Hillary and Obama - they are both in league with all of this!
That being said, there are many "kool-aid" drinkers out there that think "fairness" is giving everyone a chance because of gender or race. Smooth talking, nice looking people are persuasive to those mesmerized by their candidate's appearance, not really by what he or she is saying. Those "followers" make lousy voters because they vote by emotion rather than principal. And some of these candidates are getting people to covet and envy what others generally have gotten through the blessings of hard work. They think it is "fair" to take away what others have and who work very hard for what they have received and give it to people who do not/have not/will not. That is "fairness" in America, and in western society as a whole! It reminds me of the parable JESUS taught:
Was the householder unfair? No, not at all. Some worked harder than others, and yet they all received the wage they agreed to with the householder. It seems there was as much an "entitlement" mentality that pervaded the people in the parable as there are today! The same story could easily be changed to "because I served in public life for so long, isn't it MY turn to lead?" or "because I am a certain race, isn't it time for ME to take power?" or "because I am a woman, isn't it time for ME to be President?" as if serving, race or gender is all that it takes to qualify for the position.
Lets face it - HOPE is not the agent of change. "Now FAITH is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith, according to Paul in Hebrews 11:1, is what enabled Abraham to have righteousness accounted to him by obeying GOD and following HIS command to sojourn into the land of promise. Faith enabled Noah to move with fear and build the ark. Faith is not wishing something to happen, it is belief in action that produces the evidence - the fuel to continue - called HOPE. Hope is not a wish, and hope does not come first. Faith comes first. But most people have it all wrong and backwards. They want the reward first, but none of the work. Poor deluded saps - wishing never changed a thing, but FAITH moves mountains!
"IS THINE EYE EVIL, BECAUSE I AM GOOD?"
Personally, I want a leader who is able to handle the scrutiny of his enemies and still stand. I want a leader who leads through prayerful consideration and honest seeking out of GOD's will rather than what a poll says. I want a leader who is real, not slick talking and phony; vulnerable, humble, not proud and teflon. None of the top candidates are any of those things - not McCain, not Hillary and especially not Obama. I don't need a charming messiah type - I have a MESSIAH and HE is GOD! Nothing else compares.
Skin color has NOTHING to do with leadership, people. It has to do with where a "leader's" heart is: in themself and their "party", or JESUS CHRIST?
How does your "leader" measure up by my definition? Are you faithful or hopeful?

Was the householder unfair? No, not at all. Some worked harder than others, and yet they all received the wage they agreed to with the householder. It seems there was as much an "entitlement" mentality that pervaded the people in the parable as there are today! The same story could easily be changed to "because I served in public life for so long, isn't it MY turn to lead?" or "because I am a certain race, isn't it time for ME to take power?" or "because I am a woman, isn't it time for ME to be President?" as if serving, race or gender is all that it takes to qualify for the position.
Lets face it - HOPE is not the agent of change. "Now FAITH is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith, according to Paul in Hebrews 11:1, is what enabled Abraham to have righteousness accounted to him by obeying GOD and following HIS command to sojourn into the land of promise. Faith enabled Noah to move with fear and build the ark. Faith is not wishing something to happen, it is belief in action that produces the evidence - the fuel to continue - called HOPE. Hope is not a wish, and hope does not come first. Faith comes first. But most people have it all wrong and backwards. They want the reward first, but none of the work. Poor deluded saps - wishing never changed a thing, but FAITH moves mountains!
"IS THINE EYE EVIL, BECAUSE I AM GOOD?"
Personally, I want a leader who is able to handle the scrutiny of his enemies and still stand. I want a leader who leads through prayerful consideration and honest seeking out of GOD's will rather than what a poll says. I want a leader who is real, not slick talking and phony; vulnerable, humble, not proud and teflon. None of the top candidates are any of those things - not McCain, not Hillary and especially not Obama. I don't need a charming messiah type - I have a MESSIAH and HE is GOD! Nothing else compares.
Skin color has NOTHING to do with leadership, people. It has to do with where a "leader's" heart is: in themself and their "party", or JESUS CHRIST?
How does your "leader" measure up by my definition? Are you faithful or hopeful?

"Where I had five pages, Barry had probably a paragraph of the pithiest, tightest prose you'd ever see. … It was very short, very sweet. Last week, Slate inaugurated the Obama Messiah Watch, a periodic inquiry into whether Barack Obama is the son of God. The Obama Messiah Watch will spotlight gratuitously adoring biographical details that appear in newspaper, television, and magazine profiles of the junior U.S. senator from Illinois, best-selling author, Harvard Law Review editor, Men's Vogue cover model, Grammy winner, and "exploratory" presidential candidate. The objective is not to insult Obama, but rather to restore a little rationality to the coverage of his potential candidacy. Indeed, those most awestruck by Obama invite suspicion that they're expressing the same condescension voiced last week by presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., and President Bush when they praised Obama as "articulate." (The noninsulting term is eloquent.) Or they may just be gaga. Or—we can't rule this out—perhaps Obama really is the Word made flesh.
Today's entry is from a Jan. 27 Associated Press feature by Glen Johnson:
Obama analyzed and integrated Einstein's theory of relativity, the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, as well as the concept of curved space as an alternative to gravity, for a [Harvard] Law Review article that [Prof. Laurence] Tribe wrote titled, "The Curvature of Constitutional Space."
By this measure, thousands of reasonably bright high-school students across the United States are destined to become president. (AP's Johnson gets extra credit for redundancy: Einstein's General Theory of Relativity includes the concept of curved space.)
I know some of these stories are a year old. However, I am inclined to include them. Barak Hussein Obama has the news media hypnotised! It is sickening, really....

"I Have a Pint-Sized Obamaphile"
. . . I have a pint sized Obamaphile — or should that be Obama-bhakta (bhakta in Sanskrit means devotee) in deference to her Indian roots? — in the household. These days, he is included in J’s morning prayers, which is an honor normally reserved for things and people closest to her heart. She has been following his fortunes in the primaries for a while now and has managed to suck me into it as well.
Obamaphilia is quite contagious as it turns out. Thanks to my daughter, I keep an eye on CNN for the latest on Obama because J’s need for information on him is insatiable. . . .
(Little children are so easily persuaded...and many adults as well!)
Obamamania has done what the combined inducements of PBS, Discovery, Cartoon Network, and, I will grudingly admit, Netflix, failed to do. I asked her a few days ago if the timing of the debate coincided with the weekend of her play date which one she would pick. “The debate of course,” she replied. “Why?” I asked incredulously. “Because it is so interesting. Play dates are all the same,” she explained like it should have been self-evident to me.
And it is not only debates she likes. She has had me dig up old Obama speeches from YouTube. The man just has to talk and J is all mesmerized. She sits transfixed and watches him like she were in a hypnotic trance. . . .
As for me, I can't wait for this to be over so J can go back to being the kid who loved High School Musical and waited all week for Friday to come along so she could have a play date. Life would return to normal – maybe in Obama-speak that would be “business as usual” and not the change that he exhorts everyone to be and participate in. Until then I will have to cope with J chanting “Go Obama” the best I can.
Please watch and pray about this one. Pray for discernment, pray for wisdom, and pray that you are not swayed to become a follower of Obama. I have never seen the likes of this in my entire 41 short years of life, and I don't think I ever will again.

His press coverage suggests we can't dismiss this possibility out of hand. I therefore inaugurate the Obama Messiah Watch, which will periodically highlight gratuitously adoring biographical details that appear in newspaper, television, and magazine profiles of this otherworldly presence in our midst.
Today's item, from a Los Angeles Times profile by Larry Gordon about Obama's two years at Occidental College (before he transferred to Columbia):
In [political science professor Roger] Boesche's European politics class, [classmate Ken] Sulzer said he was impressed at how few notes [italics mine] Obama took. "Where I had five pages, Barry had probably a paragraph of the pithiest, tightest prose you'd ever see. … It was very short, very sweet. Obviously somebody almost Clintonesque in being able to sum a whole lot of concepts and place them into a succinct written style."

Last week, Slate inaugurated the Obama Messiah Watch, a periodic inquiry into whether Barack Obama is the son of God. The Obama Messiah Watch will spotlight gratuitously adoring biographical details that appear in newspaper, television, and magazine profiles of the junior U.S. senator from Illinois, best-selling author, Harvard Law Review editor, Men's Vogue cover model, Grammy winner, and "exploratory" presidential candidate. The objective is not to insult Obama, but rather to restore a little rationality to the coverage of his potential candidacy. Indeed, those most awestruck by Obama invite suspicion that they're expressing the same condescension voiced last week by presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., and President Bush when they praised Obama as "articulate." (The noninsulting term is eloquent.) Or they may just be gaga. Or—we can't rule this out—perhaps Obama really is the Word made flesh.
Today's entry is from a Jan. 27 Associated Press feature by Glen Johnson:
Obama analyzed and integrated Einstein's theory of relativity, the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, as well as the concept of curved space as an alternative to gravity, for a [Harvard] Law Review article that [Prof. Laurence] Tribe wrote titled, "The Curvature of Constitutional Space."
By this measure, thousands of reasonably bright high-school students across the United States are destined to become president. (AP's Johnson gets extra credit for redundancy: Einstein's General Theory of Relativity includes the concept of curved space.)

They included a Time magazine piece on Obama's penchant for sidestepping issues in the Illinois senate by voting "present" and a look at how he watered down a bill affecting a nuclear power company that contributed to his campaign.
It's hard to imagine that any new such revelations would put a dent in the feverish support of many who find it hard to explain his grip.

<font color="#FF0000">"I Have a Pint-Sized Obamaphile"</font>
. . . I have a pint sized Obamaphile — or should that be Obama-bhakta (bhakta in Sanskrit means devotee) in deference to her Indian roots? — in the household. These days, he is included in J’s morning prayers, which is an honor normally reserved for things and people closest to her heart. She has been following his fortunes in the primaries for a while now and has managed to suck me into it as well.
Obamaphilia is quite contagious as it turns out. Thanks to my daughter, I keep an eye on CNN for the latest on Obama because J’s need for information on him is insatiable. . . .
(Little children are so easily persuaded...and many adults as well!)

Obamamania has done what the combined inducements of PBS, Discovery, Cartoon Network, and, I will grudingly admit, Netflix, failed to do. I asked her a few days ago if the timing of the debate coincided with the weekend of her play date which one she would pick. “The debate of course,” she replied. “Why?” I asked incredulously. “Because it is so interesting. Play dates are all the same,” she explained like it should have been self-evident to me.
And it is not only debates she likes. She has had me dig up old Obama speeches from YouTube. The man just has to talk and J is all mesmerized. She sits transfixed and watches him like she were in a hypnotic trance. . . .
As for me, I can't wait for this to be over so J can go back to being the kid who loved High School Musical and waited all week for Friday to come along so she could have a play date. Life would return to normal – maybe in Obama-speak that would be “business as usual” and not the change that he exhorts everyone to be and participate in. Until then I will have to cope with J chanting “Go Obama” the best I can.

Please watch and pray about this one. Pray for discernment, pray for wisdom, and pray that you are not swayed to become a follower of Obama. I have never seen the likes of this in my entire 41 short years of life, and I don't think I ever will again.

Oprah is a huge fan of The Secret and a huge fan of Obama. I just thought that was very odd that in that video that was whispered. If you watch The Secret trailer, you will see that the backgrounds are simiar in effect to new age junk.

The only thing I don't understand is what do they see in him? People say that this guy is about change. Change what? I don't know what is so enthralling about him. I mean his speeches are filled with banal cliches and specious statements of "hope".
I can hear the clock ticking. This is the first time ever for me to see this happening. The teenagers think he is the greatest thing on earth. I have been watching them and listening to them and its crazy. They believe him. When I ask what has he done and no one could answer me but that never change how they felt about him.

Well said my dear friend! I am constantly amazed at the hypnosis many people are under concerning this guy.
The pictures, the videos, the chanting of "OBAMA!OBAMA!OBAMA!" is reminiscent of Hitler's Brown Shirts in the 1920's and 30's. He gained popularity through charismatic dialogue with the masses. It is the same here! Imagine what it would have been like for Hitler in the pre-WWll days if the internet was around!
JESUS described the mass hysteria and acceptance of others coming in their own name to a tee when HE said

This is serious stuff. I have never experienced this type of media frenzy about a political candidate before in my own lifetime. I heard about people getting all ga-ga about JFK, but this is like one long continuous concert. It is a bit overwhelming.
