Brown's Secret Talks: A New World Order Update

With each passing day it seems I have more to examine and more to keep track of in the world around us, particularly in relation to potential mark of the beast technologies in the making and information pointing toward the prophesied new world order the Antichrist is eventually going to lead preparing to rear its ugly head.

The latest groundbreaking news concerning the development of the prophesied new world order involves British Prime Minister Gordon Brown according to both The New Zealand Herald and The Independent.

Prime Minister Brown, as reported by the Herald (emphasis added mine), "has begun secret talks with other world leaders on far-reaching reform of the United Nations Security Council as part of a drive to create a "new world order" and "global society"." The Independent is reporting precisely the same.

A very interesting aspect of Brown's agenda, in my opinion, is a goal he has which I believe is directly targeted at the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which makes this news even more soul-rattling! The below is an excerpt from The Independent's article (emphasis added mine):

Mr Brown will unveil a proposal for the UN to spend £100m a year on setting up a "rapid reaction force" to stop "failed states" sliding back into chaos after a peace deal has been reached. Civilians such as police, administrators, judges and lawyers would work alongside military peace-keepers. "There is limited value in military action to end fighting if law and order does not follow," he will say. "So we must do more to ensure rapid reconstruction on the ground once conflicts are over – and combine traditional humanitarian aid and peace-keeping with stabilisation, recovery and development."

Recently, as I've reported on this website on numerous occasions, the revived Roman empire of Bible prophecy we commonly refer to as the European Union created rapid reaction forces for this same purpose but what Brown is proposing has even greater significance as it potentially sets the stage for the creation of a global military, one that will, potentially, act under the direction of the new world order/global society Brown envisions. Most importantly, I want all of my readers to peer very closely at the language of the excerpt above, particularly the area highlighted in blue as there is a tidbit of information there of great interest to those of us awaiting the return of Jesus Christ our Lord for His Church!

The proposed rapid reaction forces Brown would like to see created are to be earmarked for dealing with "failed states" that slide back into chaos after a peace deal has been reached! What "state" is the international community so desperate to create it would do practically anything to ensure its survival upon a peace deal being reached? There's only one that comes to mind for me - the one President Bush hopes to see created before he leaves office next year! That would be a Palestinian state!

I can't begin to recall how many times I've written here that the prophesied Antichrist to come isn't necessarily going to be the one who brokers a peace deal in the Middle East between Israel and her enemies. He is going to be the man who makes the impossible possible in the Middle East by confirming (or making strong) a seven-year covenant of peace in the region according to Daniel 9:27.

How, as I have posed the question before, does the international community confirm peace today? It does so through the utilization of international peacekeeping forces! Furthermore, as we read in Daniel 9:27, peace is going to be confirmed by the Antichrist "with many" in support of his efforts. It's simply amazing how close we are, in concept, to Daniel's prophesies becoming reality!

Moments like these make me feel like running through the streets telling people that Jesus Christ's return is so near we can almost reach out and touch it! Amen?

Keep Gordon Brown on your spiritual radar

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is someone who now needs to be on the 'radar screen' of everyone as an active organizer of the new world order to come - a man who is openly bringing us closer to the advent of the Antichrist, a leader of Roman descent whose grand appearance on the world stage as the world's most admired political figure and peacemaker will be preceded by the Rapture of the Church, than anyone in recent memory from my perspective. Am I suggesting I think Gordon Brown may be the Antichrist in the making? Absolutely not. As my regular readers know, I don't believe that person's identity is going to be known with certainty on this side of the Rapture of the Church. Keeping a wary eye on a man or woman seeking the creation of the new world order, however? I definitely believe that can yield clues as to the closeness of our Lord's return! Absolutely! In fact I think it wise to be watchful concerning all things that hold prophetic significance, which I hope I'm effectively demonstrating through my work.

The intrigue of it all

Adding several elements of intrigue to all of the above is the following as well.

It's possibile that the European Union will soon, potentially as early as next year, seat its very first president as I've detailed in previous commentaries. I honestly struggle to envision anyone becoming the 'George Washington' of the revived Roman empire who isn't the prophesied Antichrist but I always season my suspicions with a grain of salt as I readily admit there's some wishful thinking involved in me suspecting that.

Not only do we have the role the first EU president may play in shaping the world in preparation for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy to occur, is it possible that the United States and the European Union are quietly on their way to becoming one, beginning with the establishment of a transatlantic common market? Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily wrote the following, in part, which certainly raises that possibility in my mind if accurate (emphasis added mine):

The plan – currently being implemented by the Bush administration with the formation of the Transatlantic Economic Council in April 2007 – appears to be following a plan written in 1939 by a world-government advocate who sought to create a Transatlantic Union as an international governing body.

There is much for us to prayerfully consider that is taking place in the world around us! So much to consider and so many people to try and reach with the gospel of Jesus Christ in these final hours!

Some of what we're hearing, such as what British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is seeking, seems to clearly be pointing toward the future arrival of the prophesied new world order in its entirety and, quite possibly more so than that, the advent of the Antichrist.

Other issues are not quite so easy to officially pin down, such as a North American Union being created that would bring an end to the United States of America as we know it. Another example and developing storyline will be what role, if any, a proposed Transatlantic Common Market coming into existence as soon as 2012 will play in creating the Beast government/new world order the Antichrist will ultimately lead.

The intrigue of it all, Christians!

How any blood-bought saint of the living God doesn't have an eye cast toward heaven and an ear listening for a shout eminating from the clouds is simply beyond my comprehension! And yet, in spite of it all, the lost are wandering around with their heads in a fog, distracted by a million things other than what they obviously need to be with the Church itself largely every bit as ignorant as mainstream society is due to the continued spreading of the 'feel good gospel' many of our nation's most well-known pastors are sharing on a bi-weekly basis leaving their congregations and lost souls completely in the dark concerning the lateness of the hour we're living in.

Gordon Brown has begun secret talks with other world leaders on far-reaching reform of the United Nations Security Council as part of a drive to create a "new world order" and "global society".


The Prime Minister is drawing up plans to expand the number of permanent members in a move that will provoke fears that the veto enjoyed by Britain could be diluted eventually. The United States, France, Russia and China also have a veto but the number of members could be doubled to include India, Germany, Japan, Brazil and one or two African nations.

Mr Brown has discussed a shake-up of a structure created in 1945 to reflect the world's new challenges and power bases during his four-day trip to China and India. Last night, British sources revealed "intense discussions" on UN reform were under way and Mr Brown raised it whenever he met another world leader.

The Prime Minister believes the UN is punching below its weight. In 2003, it failed to agree on a fresh resolution giving explicit approval for military action in Iraq. George Bush then acted unilaterally, winning the support of Tony Blair.

UN reform is highly sensitive and Britain will not yet publish formal proposals for fear of uniting opponents against them. Mr Brown is trying to build a consensus for change first.

His aides are adamant that the British veto will not be negotiated away. One option is for the nations who join not to have a veto, at least initially. In a speech in Delhi today, the Prime Minister will say: "I support India's bid for a permanent place – with others – on an expanded UN Security Council." However, he is not backing Pakistan's demand for a seat if India wins one.

Arriving in Delhi yesterday, Mr Brown said he wanted a "partnership of equals" between Britain and India as he called for closer trade links and co-operation against terrorism. He announced £825m of aid over the next three years – £500m of which will be spent on health and education.

Mr Brown is to bring back honorary knighthoods and other awards for cricketers from Commonwealth countries. He said: "Cricket is one of the great things that bind the Commonwealth together. It used to be that great cricketers from the Commonwealth would be recognised by the British nation I would like to see some of the great players in the modern era honoured."

Security Council membership

The UN Security Council's membership has remained virtually unchanged since it first met in 1946.

Great Britain, the United States, the then Soviet Union, China and France were designated permanent members of the UN's most powerful body.

Initially, six other countries were elected to serve two-year spells on the council – in 1946 they were Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico, the Netherlands and Poland.

The number of elected members, who are chosen to cover all parts of the globe, was increased to 10 in 1965. They are currently Belgium, Burkina Faso, Costa Rica, Croatia, Indonesia, Italy, Libya, Panama, South Africa and Vietnam.

Decisions made by the council require nine "yes" votes out of 15. Each permanent member has a veto over resolutions.

The issue of UN reform has long been on the agenda. One suggestion is that permanent membership could be expanded to 10 with India, Japan, Germany, Brazil and South Africa taking places. Any reform requires 128 nations, two-thirds, to support it in the assembly.

Top EU officials welcome new 'world regions' group


Top EU figures have welcomed the creation of a new body representing 12 regional organisations from around the world.

The forum of global associations of regions (FOGAR) has been set up to help regional authorities meet the "challenges" of globalisation.

It includes organisations like the Rennes-based conference of peripheral maritime regions, and the association of European border regions.

But it also comprises similar organisations in far-flung parts of the world, such as the northern forum, an association of regions from the arctic zone, which covers an area from Alaska to Korea.

Speaking at its inaugural meeting in Brussels, Luc Van den Brande, newly-elected president of the committee of the regions, said he welcomed the initiative.

Van den Brande, also president of Flanders, said it underlined the importance of regions in the European project and the fact that this could be used as a "model" for non-European countries.

His comments were echoed by Eneko Landaburu, director general of the commission’s external relations directorate.

He said, "I am surprised to see how people outside Europe are interested in our adventure and in what we have done."

Dirk Ahner, director general of the regional affairs directorate, said, "This new organisation will promote twinning between regions at the world level."

The chairman of FOGAR is Italian Claudio Martini, current president of the CPMR, who said,"The association will ensure that the voice of regions is heard."

He said it would also help promote cooperation between the various regions of the world.

CPMR head of communications Enrico Mayrhofer said, "More than ever, global challenges require regional answers and the regions are better able to respond."

I decided to break down and watch the network news channels, just to see if they would bother reporting the Senators on the Hill that asked the, Fed Chairman, Treasury Secretary, and SEC Chief, questions like... Brown will unveil a proposal for the UN to spend £100 million ($257 million) a year on setting up a "rapid reaction force" to stop "failed states" sliding back into chaos after a peace deal has been reached.

"There is limited value in military action to end fighting if law and order does not follow," he will say. "So we must do more to ensure rapid reconstruction on the ground once conflicts are over and combine traditional humanitarian aid and peace-keeping with stabilisation, recovery and development."

* The UN Security Council's membership has remained virtually unchanged since it first met in 1946.

It is more than merely interesting that the model for preparing for the transnational exchanges that will, the global elitists hope, eventuate in one-world economic order, recently was instituted in the area of the reviving Roman Empire.

I received an article, parts of which are excerpted here, that was clipped and sent to prophecy watchers by Alan Franklin. He is a British journalist and author/lecturer on the European Union and how that governing authority looks to be the heart of the beast system prophesied in the 13th chapter of Revelation.

Franklin said: “…this is a huge step towards a cashless society with a one world currency to follow - the SEPA programme launched by the European Central Bank…”. He pasted the following article:

“[It is] A single currency--with a single set of payment instruments--in a single euro payments area. With SEPA, this becomes a reality. And we, as euro area citizens, will be able to make euro payments as cheaply, as easily and as safely as we do national payments. We can now make payments not only with euro notes and coins, but harmonised electronic payments by European credit transfer, direct debit and payment card as well. This will be followed by 'SEPA Direct Debit' before the end of 2009. Considering developments involved with the North American Union (NAU), it is prudent to look at the EU implementation of this system of electronic funds transfer as a prototype for such a system lurking in wait for the North American continent. Such a system in its most virulent form will control all commerce on earth during the tribulation:

There seems, at only a cursory glance at news, that there is nothing to be concerned about with regard to Bible prophecy on the brink of bringing on tribulation. It is a strange, almost tranquil time, while all eyes seem to be on the presidential race and fascinated with the charismatic politician Barak Hussein Obama. It is as if nothing else of significance is going on that involves things to come.

In actuality, the circumstance couldn’t be more diametrically opposite than that perceived. The peace process, with America and others pressuring Israel to give up even parts of Jerusalem; the Russian/Iranian axis forming; China growing and exerting economic, if not yet military, hegemony; the Church in an almost mesmerized state of euphoria with its stadium-sized congregations’ inward-turning, feel-good doctrines of devils –the stage is set for apocalypse.

It is just at a time like this, Jesus forewarned, He will come for believers: “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh” (Matt. 24:44).

Greencastle - Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Monday he fears the United States and Europe won't fully understand how rapidly the world is changing in the 21st century and won't adapt fast enough to keep up.

"If we don't do it with the vigor it needs, the world can't wait for us to discover five, 10 years down the line that we've missed our opportunity to shape the future generations in our way," Blair said.

Speaking to about 5,000 people at DePauw University, Blair urged the U.S. to unite with Europe to develop a strong global agenda to address global problems such as terrorism, global warming and the rift between East and West.

"No one country is able to handle and meet the global challenges today," he said. "The world today around us is changing so fast. These massive global issues are going to have a massive impact on us."

He said globalization is causing the world to change socially, technologically and economically. As an example, he noted that in Great Britain, Mandarin Chinese is being taught as a language in schools.

"There are new economies being created, particularly out in the Far East," Blair said. He described Vietnam as a rapidly developing economy and pointed out that China and India are assuming prominent roles in global affairs.

Greencastle resident Beverly Wagoner said she agreed with Blair about the need for a global agenda.

"I think it's a very hard idea to get across to people, because we're so fearful of China and India," Wagoner said. "I think it's the truth and we need to do that."

Blair's speech was part of DePauws Ubben Lecture Series, which has included Mikhail Gorbachev, Benazir Bhutto, Spike Lee and others. Blair, who was prime minister of Great Britain from 1997 to 2007, is the fifth British prime minister to speak at DePauw.

US Following Europe toward tyranny

It doesn't happen quickly. It's been a half-century since the European Common Market was created to enhance cross-border trade in coal and steel among six European countries. The next 40 years saw the idea of cross-border "harmonization" expand into the European Community, with the 1992 Maastricht Treaty. With the signing of the Lisbon Treaty in December 2007, 27 European nations are on the verge of becoming one consolidated state.

The North American Free Trade Agreement, which went into force in 1994, is supposed to function much the same as the European Common Market, by removing tariffs on goods traded among the member nations. The Security and Prosperity Partnership, launched in 2005, is building a North American Community. This process is designed to "harmonize" and "integrate" cross-border rules and regulations. Following the European blueprint, the next step is the creation of a North American Union.

In Europe, what started as a simple agreement to enhance trade among six nations has grown into a full-blown treaty that will bring 27 former nations under the rule of a single, appointed government. In Europe, the process has been littered with objections and resistance. The one-government idea was first put to the people in the form of a new constitution, but when the people had an opportunity to vote, the idea was widely rejected. The new approach removes the people from the equation and now requires only that the parliaments of the various nations ratify the treaty.


American advocates of the one-government idea learned from the European experience. NAFTA, which is, in fact, a treaty, was not presented to Congress as a treaty. A treaty requires 67 Senate votes for ratification. An executive agreement requires only 51 Senate votes and a simple majority in the House of Representatives.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership was not even presented to Congress; it was not a "signed" agreement, but an executive "partnership," which needed no congressional involvement. Congress has chosen not to challenge this executive authority.

The new European Union will have its own parliament, its own president, its own court system and, of course, its own currency – the euro. A single "high representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy" will speak for the 27 member-states, instead of 27 "foreign ministers." Some Europeans fear that this officer will replace both England's and France's ambassadors to the United Nations and to the U.N. Security Council. The Lisbon Treaty does not automatically transform the 27 member states into one nation, but it is a major step toward that goal.

The North American Community, now under construction through the Security and Prosperity Partnership and similar efforts at the state level, will not automatically transform Mexico, Canada and the United States into "MexiCanAmeri," or "CanAmeriMex," or the North American Union. But it is a major step toward that goal.

The plan to build a North American Community calls for annual summit meetings of the three nations. The next will be held in New Orleans in April. It calls for a common tariff, which NAFTA is supposed to do. It calls for "a common approach to regulations," which the SPP working groups call "harmonization and integration." It calls for a tri-national "Advisory Council," and an "Inter-Parliamentary Group" – all of which is now under construction.

The leaders of all three nations laugh and say these activities have nothing to do with a North American Union. The facts on the ground, however, make their denials laughable.

So-called "free traders" applaud NAFTA and point to jobs created by all the exports to Mexico and Canada. They never mention the jobs that have also been exported as the result of the trade deficit. When NAFTA went into force, the deficit with Mexico and Canada was $13 billion. It has grown steadily, and last year was $138.4 billion. NAFTA is the process by which U.S. wealth is redistributed to other nations.

What's worse, the implementation of NAFTA, the SPP and the North American Community are devices that bypass elected representatives. NAFTA, approved by Congress on a promise of prosperity, has produced a constant drain on our prosperity. Neither the SPP nor the North American Community was even discussed in Congress. Both of these executive devices are moving our nation closer to the one-government concept pioneered by the European Union.

The government we are moving toward is an administrative government, in which elected representatives become little more than a token to the form of government created by the U.S. Constitution. When any government is empowered to impose rules of behavior without the consent of the governed, freedom is the victim. When government is empowered – without the consent of the governed – to define what freedom may be exercised, the result is a dictatorship, whether by a Hitler, a supreme soviet, or an appointed Inter-Parliamentary Group.

Where are the Americans who still believe that the best possible government is a government whose power is limited by the consent of the governed? They are certainly not in a Congress that allows NAFTA, the SPP and the North American Community to continue.

British prime minister calls for global 'interdependence'

BOSTON—British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, in his first foreign policy address in the United States, called on the U.S. and Europe on Friday to lead a new era of global "interdependence" aimed at solving international problems such as terrorism, poverty and climate change.

Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.

Brown cited Kennedy's Independence Day speech in 1962, when the president proposed a "new and global declaration of interdependence." Brown said Kennedy's call for public service "still reverberates around the world and always will."

Noting Kennedy's creation of the Peace Corps, Brown called for the creation of "a new kind of global peace and reconstruction corps," which he described as an organization of trained civilian experts available any time to rebuild states.

Brown also talked about U.S. leadership following World War II, include the Marshall Plan that funneled millions in economic aid and technical assistance to help rebuild Europe.

"We must summon inspiration from the vision, humanity and leadership shown by those reformers to guide our actions today," he said.

Brown reiterated his call for reform of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and United Nations to give emerging countries such as China, India and Brazil more say in the international institutions.

He called on the World Bank to intensify programs to reduce poverty and said the institution should become a bank for both development and the environment by transferring billions in loans and grants to encourage the poorest countries to adopt alternative sources of energy.

The British leader, who has set a mandatory target in the U.K. to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 60 percent by 2050, insisted that a new global pact on reducing carbon emission must be agreed on by the end of 2009.

He said the deal, which would replace the Kyoto Protocol that was rejected by the U.S. and expires in 2012, should be led by the United Nations and needs to set binding targets for all developed countries.

Brown, who has overseen some U.K. troop withdrawals in Iraq and sought to soothe public anger in Britain over the unpopular war, did not mention Iraq directly. But he insisted he would support future military action to intervene in failing states.

He praised President Bush for leading the world in an attempt to root out terrorism and "our common commitment that there be no safe haven for terrorists."

Brown said the United States and Europe should act as "hardheaded internationalists," and use "diplomatic, economic, and yes, when necessary military action -- to prevent crimes against humanity when states can no longer do so."
