Take a look at this article where a conservative website takes on atheism: http://www.conservapedia.com/Atheism

interesting read, although I don't think I will ever understand why so many people spend so much time and energy worrying about "atheists". According to polls and surveys, they make up about 8% of the total US population. Christians, on the other hands, account for 80-85% of the population. The US, like all Western nations, was born from Christianity and remains heavily influenced by it's teachings and customs to this day.

Atheism, on the other hand, represents a tiny minority of the population and poses no threat what so ever to Christianity's domination of US culture and religion. Perhaps the author of this site may have better spent his time discussing how we, a supposedly Christian nation, tolerate:

-millions of children without medical insurance
-aggressive, military based foreign policy
-our support for anti-human rights dictators and governments across the world
-our continued support for a death penalty
-an economic and cultural system that names accumulation of wealth as the noblest of all achievements
-an economic and cultural system that allows generations to wallow in the poverty cycle

To me, these are the issues we should be discussing.

In Norway, many so-called-christians are in fact atheists, they just donīt know that they are.

You see, some beleive in the word "Dinosaur", and some beleive in the word "Dragon".

They are the same kind of animals - but "Dinosaurs" came in the dictionary in 1844 and "Dragons" has always been there.

"Dinosaurs" lived "Millions of years ago", while "Dragons" lived 1500 years ago.

Now, the earth is about 5700 years old, but a lot of Christians beleive that it is Billions of years old.

Some even say that everythinge was made in 6000 years, and not in 6 days as the Bible teach.

You cannot beleive in both Evolution Theory and the Holy Bible, because you cannot serve two lords.
