Do they not know that Islam is a religion? Who are they kidding?

NPR said on the radio, that the FBI was so concerned that these people had ordinary jobs, lived in apartments, and had no ties to Al Qaeda. In other words, they were frightened that these terrorists were normal American citizens! Sounds like the FBI could potentially use that description as an excuse to spy on American citizens, and search and sieze at will, detaining at will with no rights for the citizen, setting up a gestapo-like approach. Sounds like the FBI is putting a spin in the media on this when the fact of the matter is, Isalm makes it clear that killing any infidel would get them to Heaven automatically. Humpf! Shocked! Wasn't it political correctness that allows this kind of thing to thrive but not weeding out the Isalmic radicals preaching death to all Americans in the mosques? A Christian says homosexuality is a sin, and goes to jail, and a Christian church makes political statements, and gets it tax exempt status taken away, someone in a Baptist church criticizes Bush, and gets reported to the FBI...and the Gideons give out free Bibles on a public sidewalk and go to jail, but hunderds and hunderds of Muslims carry signs Death to America and Kill Christians march through New York and nothing happens to them...they are so good at policing Christian churches and Christian acitivities, where are they when it comes to Isalmic Mosques?

I can not resist in saying this, in regard to FlyingSquirrel's question, "Follow the money, in this case, the oil." Or "When money talks, people listen." All I hear of Islam is "Kill kill kill" whilst of Christianity is "Love the Lord thy God with all of your heart, mind, soul, spirit and strength. And love one another." Not saying that Christianity doesn't have its own bad apples, quite the opposite is true. Just saying that the tenets and perspectives of these religions are vastly different, but ultimately the Glorious Truth that is Joshua shall stand forever.
