Found this on the ZB.... Very disturbing, and I was hesitant to give this person a voice.... but our youth need to be aware and we need to pray. Such foolish behavior when they do not understand the actual physics of this world. They swallowed satan's lie hook line and sinker...

The rationality I present is that the scientific method has only been around for about 300 years and modern science is only now and within the past 50 years able to calculate the supernatural.

CULTURE DIGEST: ‘Blasphemy Challenge’ lures kids to renounce Holy Spirit

Posted on Feb 14, 2007 | by Erin Roach

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--A radical new website is gaining popularity by challenging people to deny the existence of God, and it’s run by an atheist who was raised Catholic and claims he “became a born-again Christian when he was 13.”

“I loved Jesus and he was my best friend and I talked to him and God all the time,” Brian Sapient said on ABC’s “Nightline” Jan. 30. “I have to admit that they never talked back to me, and I think some people would say that God does talk to them and I think they’re not being honest with themselves.”

Now a dejected Sapient is part of the “Rational Response Squad,” which is behind the website http://www.blasphemychallenge.com and promises to give away 1,001 copies of a DVD espousing their views.

“There's only one catch: We want your soul,” the site says. “It's simple. You record a short message damning yourself to Hell, you upload it to YouTube, and then the Rational Response Squad will send you a free The God Who Wasn't There DVD. It's that easy.”

Somewhere in the video, the person must say the phrase “I deny the Holy Spirit.” The website explains that the phrase is required because Mark 3:29 says, “Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.”

Matt Barber, policy director for cultural issues at Concerned Women for America, told Cybercast News Service that by arrogantly rebelling against God’s authority, the website implicitly acknowledges His existence.

“Scripture tells us that the reality of God’s existence is written on the heart of every man, woman and child,” Barber said. “Man’s rebellion against the Creator is no new thing. It’s a time-honored tradition among those who prefer to view the world through the prism of moral relativism.”

Sapient is aggressively targeting teenagers by advertising his site on 25 websites frequented by teens, including Xanga, Boy Scout Trail, Teen Magazine, CosmoGirl and Seventeen, according to Focus on the Family’s CitizenLink.

“As young people are the most vulnerable to religious indoctrination, we feel it is important to reach them with the concept of challenging the doctrine they are told to unquestioningly believe,” blasphemychallenge.com says.

So far at least 955 videos have been posted, including one from someone named Joel.

“My name is Joel. I deny the Holy Spirit, as well as God, Jesus, Buddha, Zeus, Mohammad, Joseph Smith, Sponge Bob, the pope, Santa Clause, Mother Mary, the Easter bunny, the tooth fairy, Optimus Prime, all the saints and Spiderman,” he says, according to Nightline
THE SEVEN THUNDERS
I don't think it is a coincidence that his name is "Sapient" as in a "sapient human" (Homo sapiens), full of the "Knowledge of Man" and by which Man fell. What a tragedy that the absence of audible dialogue from the Lord created in him rebellion of such bitterness and self-hatred that he would launch such a radical counter assault against the Divine Nature by encouraging the ultimate blasphemy. Jealous pride is in his heart. But prayer and the Liberating Power of the Lord’s Almighty Love is not inept or deficient for this or any situation, if Christians would merely pray for their enemy, then the Victory shall be the Lords, Who is well qualified to transform and heal the “Prodigal Son”, all of Brian Sapient’s woundedness and brokenness. Glory to God Eternal!

Itchy please remove the Link to that satanic site. Things like that should receive no attention at all.

Huh?. Is this for real or i did not know people are capable of this. Hmm. I fear more like this going to happen. sad.gif . Do this people think that hell does not exist?. From what i can tell you. It is scary place. It not like what people think about hell. God did not want this people to go to hell. He sent Jesus to save us from this hell. Noone want to accept Christ?. Only few?. This is very shocking.

I feel sorry for this people :-<snipped>

Atheists have come here and gone.., we even had some that came here and thought they could shut the forum down! 1dsz5f1.gif We have seen atheist who pretend to be Christians but were wolves in sheeps clothing. The devil's tactics haven't changed...what is old is new again, or so it seems. Even JESUS cast out demons. Apparently this guy has one angry demonic spirit. You know, Prayer is often the best medicine for such a person. I will pray for him, amd pray for his salvation.

You know, the website doesn't even give a way for rebuttals...I guess they are afraid to show that Christians will not refuse JESUS CHRIST. One sided debate if you ask me...

The Bible warns us of such things. That is why it is important to know the WORD of GOD. Remember that GOD is the only one that gives us free choice. No other creature on earth has the choice that we have...HEAVEN or HELL, something that most atheists overlook. That is what sets man apart from animals, crustations etc...

May the LORD bless you, Itchy, for showing the true colors of atheism. wub.gif

wow... and he maintains that that is rational!? hahaha! Given the evidence in the world that anyone could gather... even if I WAS an atheist (and I'm not) I would at least try to be logical... In logical terms he's really betting that Hell doesn't exist and neither does God, but if one were to take a risk between 2 options. one being an opressive God who isn't there (oxy moron - I'm just trying to see how he views it), and a place of eternal torment and damnation -> I'd put my eggs in the God basket everytime, and thats if I didn't even believe in it... of course I do.. but how can they call themselves rational when its irrational to fight against something you claim doesn't exist. 'I hate you thinga-ma-bob-non-existing-thingy!!'

...it's the spirit of the antichrist taking away the daily sacrifice of the temple sad.gif

hang on to what you got!

I am blessed, I still have Jesus in my heart! sleep.gif wub.gif

Oh...goodness! One of the most evil things I've seen. May God confound the website! I pray for his blessing on the young people who have viewed or posted on this horrible site.
